| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aww, I thought this was cute. Not just the character designs but the way they introduced everyone and the setting, Meiro-machi. There's a mixture of comedy, historical, and eh...awkward fan service. The animation style reminds me a little of Aiura. Looks like there's a little bit of teasing as well. Fun show so far, Chiya is a cute cookie imo. |

| Chiya is quite the manic troublemaking girl I want to just hug her and Nina who's really cute and perfect almost like Chiya Ujimatsu from Gochiusa, also that has to be the most prettiest tea pouring in anime. My heart just turned into pure sugar. The animation style reminds me of several shorts I've seen and not so much what's seen in a full length anime. |

| If last season we had Keijo for the true ass-men, this winter we have Belly Fetish: The Anime Pretty decent first episode, maybe a bit too much fanservice for a cute girls anime, but I thought the same about New Game and I still loved it. The setting and the rank system of the Urara's is original and can lead to a lot of great stuff, so I'm definitively looking forward for more. Nono is a cute! |

| So did this air at 2 am January 6th like ANN claimed? "The anime will premiere on TBS on January 5 at 1:58 a.m. (effectively January 6 morning)" Normally when I see a situation like that, it would be listed as "January 5th, 25:58" not 1 am. Usually 1:58 on Thursday means 1:58 on Thursday. But I see this thread was started pretty much around 2 AM on Friday Japan time. |

Special powers. Yeah. OMG. THIS TOWN LOOKS LIKE A FESTIVAL. She's not from modern society. She's a Disney Princess. Already, she's making enemies and being framed. Don't worry. The animals will save her.What. She's showing her... wat. OOOH. THE LAW IS HERE. Saku. Awww. How polite. omg. These poses. HOW LEWD. HAHA. There aren't any dudes here, hm? WHY DO YOU KEEp---oh. DOLL DIVINATION. HAHAHA. She is a ventriloquist. omg. I can see that as being somewhat creepy. OMG. IT IS. YEAH, MANG. I knew I saw tarot cards. HAHA. Dude. We all thought that those ribbon parts were her ears. HAHA. At least I wasn't the only one. What. What are they doing. Ouija? OMG. POOR KON. HAHHA. CHIYA, dang. You pervert. HAHA. Noooo, Non, keep to your doll stuff. That doll will certainly come and haunt them. HAHA. Saku is pretty much like the hot guy. Everybody wants senpai to notice her. HAHA. OMGGG. Saku is so adorable. | Very interesting set-up for a moeblob anime, with some really nice visuals to back it up. Comedy is pretty good as well. (minus some rather uncomfortable fanservice moments involving white-hair flipping skirts and stuff) That last point (especially the fanservice angle) worryingly reminds me of what happened with Kuma Miko, another slice of life series from last year that happened to be kind of similar to this in a lot of ways though. Fortunately though I don't think this will end like that one did *shudders*. |

| Very good start, I really enjoyed it. The show is funny, adorable and all round just really fun to watch. Has a nice light hearted atmosphere and I'm gonna enjoy watching the girls interacting and having fun. Chiya and Kon are my favorites for now, That show your tummy for apologizing routine is actually really amusing and leads to some good service. So, I'm not complaining. XD The tea fortune telling felt really graceful while Kon's fortune telling had this air of mystery around it. I wonder what kind of feeling the fortune telling of the other girls will give off. I suppose Chiya's fortune telling will have something to do with animals? The scene at the end with the two girls fawning over the captain was really funny. Looking forward to see the girls on their journey towards being Urara's. |
