| Killua for his character development, Gon for just how interesting it is to see how his character reacts and progresses to the oncoming situations/plot. After the Chimera Ant arc, god knows what will become of Gon in the future. If I'd choose between one of them to put on my favorites, I'd put Gon. |

| Killua has a more interesting design and fighting style. He got nice development too. Gon has a lot going for him though. He's very interesting to watch as a deconstruction of standard shonen protags. I love how qualities like his determination and idealism work against him at times and come with real consequences. Kid's insane. Kurapika is the best mc tbh. |

| Depends on which arc. Chimera Ant Arc = Gon hands down. Every other arc = Killua. Personally, Killua is one of my favorite anime characters of all time, along with Hisoka and Meruem. |
| I enjoyed Gon more so than Killua because Gon is unpredictable. Gon fighting style is what I enjoy the most about him. With Killua, it's either he wins hands down, or has to retreat, even after pulling out the needle. Gon on the other hand is underrated when people talk about his fighting ability. I tbink he shows more strategy than Killua in most cases.. Plus Gon's way of speaking reminds me of myself so my vote goes towards Gon. |

| I have to compliment the show for taking risks with Gon, but it was at the cost of making him way too often unlikeable and hard to stomach. The "problem" (it's not, but you know, till it pays off in CA it is a constant bother) with him is that his morals are twisted and he is still given the trascendence and moral high ground of a hero. He is self-centered and observes things with a very biased rationale, dividing people between "good" and "evil" just through his gut reaction when things are far more complicated than that in the world of HxH. He's basically a nice and laidback but dangerously hypocritical character. It's difficult to like a character like this, specially when it's just a routine portrayal and there isn't something huge and ambitious to do with this concept as it happens for most of the show's run. Through the course of the series, and even in Gon's big moment, I have to admit I sided more with Killua. He is supposed to be the assassin and morally grey character but I find that his observational perspective with Gon is far easier to understand than Gon himself, and the way he cares about their friendship has hit me deeply quite a few times. So, my vote here is for Killua, and admitting that what the series did with Gon is really cool, but since the story is long and I can't reduce things to a single moment in a single arc, I'm going with the one I most consistently enjoyed, empathized and sided with. |

I love that they foreshadowed this several times before the big moment. He would be more intresting character if he isn't that much simp to Gon but now he's a little bit boring and personally I prefer Illumi out of Zoldyck family |
