Well how did I get into watching Anime? Well the very first Anime I remember watching was Ninja Scroll. I was a kid who at the time had no clue of the concept of Anime. To me they were all just cartoons. No different than Looney Tunes. It was purely by accident that I was flipping through channels late at night and NS just so happened to be on. It blew my mind for obvious reasons and I loved it, but it wasn't until DBZ appeared in the United States some years later, that I noticed the vast difference to regular American cartoons. Like many, I became an instant DBZ fan and finally I started to wonder were there other Anime as addictive as this. So I started doing some research and literally the first thing that kept popping up was Naruto. By this time, Naruto hadn't even premiered on any American networks. Crunchyroll didn't even exist yet. I actually managed to start watching it because I was in the Army and was living in areas outside the US where I was able to get my hands on bootleg copies. Yet again, I fell in love with the series and that was the final nail in the coffin. I became an Anime fan for life from that moment on.
