| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was good seeing all the characters in this finale and their cheery moods. I can't help but feel snsei's bad luck this episode though LOL. I loved the way he returned and the kids were overjoyed especially Naru. What a return lol. Anyways, I thought this was a.... Great series overall, a rare gem of the Summer season. 9/10. I hope this gets another season in the future someday. I hope. |

| Sensei's mother sure is getting her message clear! Kawafuji being turned into a punching bag! Worked up from hearing a girls name ^^ Sensei's mother letting go seeing how Sensei changed! For Miwa Sensei! The vending machine incident xD Sensei getting tackled in the mist of confusion. Sensei's calligraphy writing on what is important to him ^w^ A really enjoyable anime! Really funny and some cute moments, easily a 9/10 and probably the best of this season for me! |

| I have a self-imposed rule that only DBZ gets a 10/10. If it weren't for that this would absolutely get one too. This was easily the best anime I've seen all year, highest 9 out of 10 possible. I would love more of this, and can't wait to own it. |

| All in all, I feel happy with this anime through and through. Throughout the whole entire season when Saturday came about I was most excited for this anime ;~; I'm sad it ended, but happy it had a good ending. Ughu vov Iwant more though.. |

| Handa's mom's eyes are so beautiful ugh As an artist, I totally felt the frustrating struggle to finally find your own style from previous episode. Also one of the earlier episodes where Hiro realised it's about hard work and not talent A+. It takes YEARS to get where you are and then people just invalidate your hard work meh Solid 9/10, contemplating about 10/10 because I've yet to see any other anime that deals a little with calligraphy or any other form of visual art while also being a great relaxing funny slice of life ヽ(゜∇゜)ノ SECOND SEASON WHEN |

| I'm scoring Barakamon with a 9 out of 10. A truly outstanding series. The finale had some awesome moments. The ass-kicking of Kawafuji by Sensei's mom was hilarious. Sensei's final return with the kids desperately trying to clean up, but slacking off with toys, and the whole gang charging him was adorable. The key theme is that though the islanders call Handa "sensei," he learns how to be a better human being from them. |
| This series was great! Got me laughing the whole time. Seishu's mom was adorable, had to rewatch her cute moments. Not to mention that she's a milf. 9/10 |

| I'm so going to miss this anime. Heartwarming series are the best. After this, I'm definitely going to watch more Inaka slice of life anime. They are so charming. But first, off to read the manga! |

| Handa's mom pouncing on Kawafuji and then disappearing into a looney tunes cloud to kick his ass made me lol. So glad she got more screen time in this episode. And that last scene where Handa was talking about his painting was really touching. I don't know how I even ended up watching this show, but I'm happy I did. This was one of the best SoL anime I've seen. It had so much heart. This gets a solid 9/10 from me. |

| What a heartwarming and amazing series. Easily my favorite series from this past summer season. I'm gonna miss this a ton now... :[ Haha, Handa's mom was hilarious. Her punch barrage was too OP, especially when she unleashed it on Kawafuji. xD And when sensei got back to the island, it was a great feeling to see everyone together again. :) His calligraphy was pretty trippy too! Shame he only got 5th, but he's grown to accept it now. ^^ |

| That calligraphy! So cute! >.< I want second season! I really need watch more anime like this! After all these mecha, action, idol, sport, drama, romance, harems... etc is good to watch such peaceful series :) Gonna miss it... Really hope there will be 2nd season :D From all series I watched these season, yhere is only 5 series which I really want they got second season and Barakamon is one of them. |

| Sensei's mom was too funny. Everyone welcoming Sensei back into the house ~ Naru's calligraphy at the end ~ This was an amazing series. It really brought out the cuteness and touching moments. Enjoyed it to the max. |

| great heartwarming ending such a lovely enjoyable show. enjoyed every second of it loved the character design, the characters, the comedy, the op, the ed. was a 10 at the beginning and for me still is. for me the series just nails light hearted slice of life pefectly 2nd season please |
| i thought handa's relationship with his mom and dad were totally the other way around! his dad isn't as strict on him as i assumed. hahaha cute family nonetheless! barakamon wrapped up nicely. i feel so void now, it's over ;A; i wonder what s2 would be about? i mean, handa overcame his troubles. |
| 8/10, Gekkan Shoujo was better but this series still is a very good job. For the episode, it's nice to see Sensei coming back and not getting depressed. |

| Cleaning up the room, to wait for him to return. But his mother is not allowing him to as an overprotective mother's worry and feeling left behind. Oh, father's been there. The packages sent by the islanders convinced her to permit it. lol @ kids playing again. Uchiyama-san's character has leadership for progressing the clean up. Lots of bad things happening because of not thinking clearly. 5th place in the end. Well, for his first time writing his own style, it's nice. I guess it's the end. it was a nice series. |

| Handa's mom stepping up in the last 2 episodes was pure funny, and lovable. Plus she is childlike when she punches, or crying at the same, which her character is the best. Probably the best mom of the year :D. Well maybe Handa's parents are the best. A really great comedy, slice of life show, probably the best out of all the summer season shows. The characters are lovable, music was endearing, and the animation and art fits in the peaceful atmosphere. Plus the rare thing is that they used child voice actors in here, which I enjoyed the show :D especially Naru. Such a heartwarming series, I'm going to miss this. 9/10 |
| What a great ending to an overall great anime, I really loved that we got to experience Handa mature over the course of this anime. The ending gave me a bit of hope for a second season, I can't wait for more Barakamon! 9/10 |
| good show 8/10... reminded me of Usagi drop a bit though I don't think it was as heart warming. I was thinking about giving it a 9 but I don't feel like it. |

| Sensei's okasan was so cute x3 I wanted her to yell orarararara when she was punching everyone. And I was hoping that the package sensei recieved from tama would be her manuscript and then sensei's okasan would see it and flip out. That would have been too funny. |

| barakamon was a brilliant show until the end. i hope it gets another season. sensei's mom is really energetic. i feel bad for kawafuji. the part after the ending credits made me feel really happy 10/10 |

| That was a great finale. I officially love Handa's mother after this episode. Her tantrums were too adorable. Her punching barrage is on par with Star Platinum.. It was sweet that the calligraphy he entered was all the names of the villagers. This was a sweet series and I'm hoping for another season. At least Non Non Biyori is coming out in the nearby future ^^ Also as a side note I like how they used actual kids for the VA. 9/10 |

| So, Mom was a Stand user! A real power house! *giggle* Those passive-aggressive ofuda! I thought she gave up in episode 11, obviously, loves her child too much :)) The calligraphy was excellent and SO were the results. It's important to tie the steps in a struggle Sei badly needed all his life. Kids are great as always, God bless people like Hiro-nii >_< I think it was a good and normal end and an excellent anime. 9/10 |
| Best opening in this passing season. I hope in manga there will be no "10 years later sh*t" like in Usagi Drop. |
