| According to Fujimi Shobo, Kimura Shin-ichi's light novel "Kore wa Zombie Desuka?" was announced to get anime adaptation. The details of the project will be revealed in the web radio on Kadokawa Anime Channel on May 20th. Cover of the novel vol.1 Kore wa Zombie Desuka? novel has been published since January 2009, and its manga adaptation has been serialized in Monthly Dragon Age since this February. Synopsis: Aikawa Ayumu is a normal high school boy. One day he is killed by a serial killer and revived as a zombie by a necromancer Eucliwood Hellscythe. He starts to serve Eu as her guard but he happens to deprive a maho shojo Haruna of her magic power. Haruna orders Ayumu to fight against anti-maho shojo system "Megalo" in her place. | If this is serious, then it will suck. If it is overloaded with slapstick and other anime comedy cliches, it will suck. But on the off-chance this is a well made parody anime with offbeat humour, then it could be awesome. I couldn't care less about zombies myself, I just want some good anime, and I don't care what genre they are. |

| Zombie fangirl here! While I'd LOVE to see a serious zombie story (it can happen I tell you), more zombies in the anime medium is like my wet dream. I crave it. MOAR ZOMBIES! Even the crap is welcome as long as we get some good stuff eventually. Where would we be without crappy cheesy zombie flicks after all? (A better society probably but ah well) |
