Scooter Girls

Since their creation, motor scooters have frequently been marketed directly to women and due to this have since become symbols of woman's independence. Many forms of entertainment including Anime and Manga have picked up on this image to give female characters a certain edge. Women who ride scooters are seen as free-spirited, self-sufficient, while still not abandoning their femininity. This club seeks to celebrate women such as this as they are depicted in Anime and Manga whether they be Human, Alien, or Android.

For purposes of the club, a Scooter is defined as a two in-line wheeled motorized vehicle with a step-through frame stylistically typified by, but not limited to, the classic Vespa Scooter.
