| So since Grand Blue is a manga that's been adapted, does anyone know if Iori gets his license at all ever, like do you figure it's in the next episode or is it a later in the manga thing ? |
| First half was underwhelming comedy-wise. (Some more context into my dislike: Read second part of fourth line of my profile.) Second half wasn't the strongest comedy neither tbh. It was...ok. The truck corpse scene and the absolute last line were good jokes. |

| Azusa is so friggin' HOT this episode! She voluntarily offer herself to have sex with Iori! And this is half joke so that means not toying with Iori and half of that joke as well. ED performed by Nana Mizuki was so glorious! Kouhei was an absolute die-hardcore fan! of course! 5/5. |

| IN the manga Iori fleshed out a bit more why he said no to Azusa. That said, in a manga one respected him, but animated Azusa is way too sexy to resist. |

| Well that was the best episode! crushed other eps by miles! many funny moments - dead bodies in truck - policeman and full training scene - misunderstandings with dating - Azusa x Iori! (why not do it!!!!) baka! - fish market I only didn't understand that about private roads? I had no trouble going around Okinawa when I was there? if only previous eps would be so good.. |

| Iori a better man than me because I’m folding for Azusa personally so sad this is the second to last episode but I’m glad season two is right around the corner (for me at least rip to all the people that watched this as it aired) also glad I kept checking every ED to check for any difference between episodes since this one was pretty funny |

| Those fish names are fucking wild. Were they named by perverts? It's funny Kouhei talking about turning in another guy when he's the most likely to be arrested for dubious reasons in the group. Lmao. Aina and Kouhe's misunderstandings in this episode were hilarious. I liked how Aina and Chisa helped Iori. But leaving him on his own while they went back to sleep was dangerous. They were lucky he only got a cold... But that thing alone backfired Iori couldn't get his license... Poor guy. How tf was a horny guy like Iori able to say no to Azusa?! Unbelievable. If he did do her then he probably wouldn't feel so bad about not getting a license. The new ED was pretty cool. But I thought that girl would become an actual character in the show by now. Maybe in the future? |

| They tried. But such a waste of Azusa's character. More anime needs Azusa in it. The bits between Iori and Chisa were nice, although late after all the fish puns. |
| Iori declining Azusa is such a great moment. With all the "mature" themes of the show, this was one of the true moments where the writing felt genuinely mature. Azusa was in no way lying during the entire scene. She thinks Iori is a good guy and was offering to help him in a way that probably helped her in the past. She noticed he was sexually frustrated and probably bummed out for getting sick and missing out on his license, so having sex could be a way to support him as a friend. While Azusa is in no way wrong for making the offer, Iori declining was still the best, and most mature, decision. Azusa's offer wasn't entirely out of pity, but it is very clear that the two harbor no romantic feelings toward each other. Iori losing his virginity to a pretty and kind girl like her might be great for vain reasons, but in reality it would be more fulfilling for him to experience that with someone who he could foster a genuine romantic relationship with. This isn't something that a lot of college freshmen fully grasp though because they don't have the larger perspective that everyone gains with experience. That's why him refusing the opportunity felt like such a mature moment even if it seems unthinkable. |
