1. Is anime your main source of entertainment? If not, specify what is (e.g. video-games, visual novels, movies, books, etc.) No. Anime is a very significant source of entertainment, but video-games and visual novels are of more importance to me. 2. How do your favorite characters from anime compare to your other favorite characters? I used to find characters like Reinhard and Ryou very inspirational, however, characters from visual novels and video-games tend to impress me more. Shizuna, who originates from a video-game, is whom I love and worship in a sincere way without a drop of irony. On a smaller scale of things, characters like Rean, Rance, Kageaki, Haku and Yuuji leave a much bigger impression on me than their anime counterparts. 3. Who is your favorite seiyuu and why? Uchida Maaya. The main reason is simple - she voiced Shizuna; however, even besides this, I love how varied her voice acting is - many of her roles sound very different to each other; she also has an amazing singing voice and I often listen to her songs; I think the first character that made me recognize her was Ranko from the idolmaster series. 4. If you had an opportunity to make any anime of your liking, what it would be about? I'd prefer it to be a video-game, but for the sake of Questionnaire let's go with an anime: it would be about Shizuna traveling around Zemuria, partaking in sightseeing, enjoying different kinds of food and activities (e.g. fishing) and fighting against strong opponents. 5. How do you feel about AI being used in anime production going forward? My main issue with AI is that it's inferior to a professional/talented/passionate human and it's unable to create entirely new things since it operates based on information that already exists. If it, somehow, will be able to get the same results (which seems unrealistic), then I guess I wouldn't mind it. 6. How often does your top-1 anime change and when was the last time it changed? The last time it changed was in 2011 when I watched LotGH. 7. Can you separate a work of fiction and its author? It doesn't concern me what kind of people the authors are in their private lives and whatever they do won't affect the way I perceive their creations. To those who created my favorite things I wish all the best regardless of anything else. 8. What are the 5 longest anime have you watched and do you regret spending time on them or not? One Piece: dropped it at 819 episodes, but it was alright for the most part.Naruto: the first entry was fantastic, little me enjoyed it tremendously; Shippuuden wasn't to my liking at all. Bleach: liked it when I was watching the main thing, but somehow didn't enjoy the recent seasons much. Katekyou Hitman Reborn!: very forgettable; all I remember is that I liked this Kyouya guy. Gintama: one of the funniest anime out there that unfortunately had a very disappointing finale. 9. What is the best anime with an ecchi tag you've seen? Technically, it is Mushoku Tensei, however I don't think it should be tagged as such, therefore the real answer is Getsuyoubi no Tawawa. I like how cute and wholesome it was. 10. What anime with a score of 8.5 or higher you didn't enjoy at all? Hunter x Hunter (2011), Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season, Samurai Champloo. 11. Japan is the only country on this planet that I respect because its culture enriched my life, helped to develop my worldview and find meaning in otherwise meaningless life. 14. There are a lot of them, but I would like to see something good from my favorite trashy genre'a - reverse-harem. Version of 100-girlfriends but with guys would be perfect. Even better if the guys would know that the MC is their soulmate, so they would act most of the time, would be perfect! 5] - It's inevitable, but I dislike it; I don't want anime to become quickly produced slop [and I know that many people call Isekai that - but imagine generated by AI isekai then, even worse right?]. Fantasy has an epic, magical vibes similar to some anime; LOTR, H.Potter, Artemis Fowl, Tara or Eragon were my teen years, but somehow I've left those behind. Some historical movies are great. There can be very deep character development, through romanticized or distorted truth, but they feel more culturally grounded and niche than popular. So, it's harder to talk about them to an international audience too. 3. Who is your favorite seiyuu and why? I don't really have a favorite seiyuu, although I added Inori Minase and Yui Horie because I like them and they have a very long seiyuu-graphy.. whatever you call it. 4. Maybe feeling ambitious with both. Naruto, Fairy Tail and Yu-gi-oh are not far behind either. Aikatsu-s, Pripara-s, Kirari Revolution, Shugo Chara, if you add up all those shoujo hundreds-episodes series, it quite adds up. I don't regret any of those. They were all worth watching once, but not twice. 9. What is the best anime with an ecchi tag you've seen? I've seen a looot of them. But only one has made it to the 10/10 ranks: Saenai Season 2 If one wants pure Ecchi, I recommend Keijo!!!!!!!!. How do your favorite characters from anime compare to your other favorite characters? In writing, my anime characters win by a long shot. In power level terrible, considering one of my favorite characters is Sonic the Hedgehog, the other Neptune from Hyperdimension. 3. Who is your favorite seiyuu and why? Don't have one but I'll pay attention to 3 if I happen to watch shows where they are in. The three are Chika Anzai, Shion Wakayama and Tanaka, Rie. The reason is because they voiced my favorite anime characters for the former two and the later, my favorite videogame character. 4. If you had an opportunity to make any anime of your liking, what it would be about? I can only say the genre would be historical and that ideally it would take place in Indonesia, just to be as different yet catering to a rising geopolitical power as possible. 1. currently not (video games and YT instead) 2. They are more important. (When thinking about fictional characters I almost exclusivly think about anime) 3 I'm not that interested in seiyuu stuff. 4. I don't care about the specific topic. The writing and visual style are much more important. But I would prefer it if it isn't sci-fi related. 5. Neutral. I think it's useful and I think it will be misused/overused. 6. It has changed 4 times (maybe more) and it seems that Monogatari is the final winner (it hasn't changed in almost 4 years). 7. 99% of the time. Mostly because I know almost nothing about most of the authors. 8. Monogatari (I don't regret it at all; it's my favorite). HxH (I don't regret it, though I don't particularly like it either). MHA and Food Wars! (regret it a bit; should have stopped sooner, but I was glad I could get most of my friends together for it). AoT is something between HxH and Food Wars! 9. (Nise)monogatari (well, it's my favourite anime and a very good season of it too) 10. Monster (paused after ~5 episodes and never found the motivation to continue it) and Berserk (I enjoyed very small parts of it and actually watched all 25 episodes) 11. Can't be compared. Different types of attraction. 12. Based on my feelings about it (no "potential" or "others may like it" bs) and after some time has passed. I have some minor written out guidelines that help me make it more comparable. I often add notes to my anime entries (like 7+ or 5-7 or 8-->5) 13. No strong opinion. It seems like a rather nice place to drive through the country on holiday. Not sure if I'm biased by anime. 14. None 15. It's full of mediocrity, but there are also a lot of (very) good isekai. | 1. Yes and No. I game equally 2. I tend to like characters that do not generally align with actual popular characters. I just enjoy more flawed, more vulnerable and more interesting characters. 3. Kamiya Hiroshi. He has just a really nice voice plus has voiced a LOT of characters I really like; Ranpo, Law, Saiki K, Yato, Izaya, Choromatsu 4. That's a big question. Hmm something action based with a female lead that isn't too romantic or harem or ecchi or fanservice. Has a solid story, good villains, a good varied cast. If it did include a group more males then females or just generally a better gender balance. Probably something city based rather then fantasy. Alternatively an action bl. Take say Konosuba but make it mostly guys with end goal male/male. 5. Honestly? Not a fan of AI. It's ok if it's used to improve little details but if you are using it to usurp animators or just dominate the anime then no. It's a tool not a be all 6. It's generally the same but my likes do shift every so often but not to a great degree. 7. Yes. Mostly. But in some cases if the author has some ideas I really dislike and see repeated then I will tend to skip their works regardless. 8. NEVER regret! HMMM Some of my big faves are Anime characters, but alot are Video game characters bc they have more meat (content) to chew on than something trapped in a 1-2 cour show... I guess Daisuke Ono since I can recognize his voice fairly easily (... Relatively) 4. I would make an anime Adadption of a video game I think is neat but overlooked/old. Like Digital Devil Saga, Mabinogi, Persona 1-2... 5. HATE IT. Yuck! 6. It changes very often based entirely on my mood. 7. A little bit, but it depends on how terrible the author/their views are, and how interlaced they are with the work. Even if I can still watch something, it feels kind of stained. 8. The last voice acting that had me shook was Kenjirou Tsuda as Nowak in Orb. And last year I really liked Shion Wakayama (Lemon from Makeine, Momo from Dandadan, Takina from Lycoris Recoil). 4. I thought about a straight adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms the other day, so I'd make that if I had the power right now. 5. I don't like the use of AI and will avoid it if I can. I know it's quickly becoming unavoidable, though. 7. When I have to separate the work from the author, I try to imagine handing over my money to the author in person; sometimes that makes me uncomfortable, other times it doesn't. 9. I've only seen one "ecchi" anime, Ranma 1/2 (2024), which didn't feel very ecchi... I liked it, though. 10. There are quite a few over 8.5 that I didn't enjoy. I'll just give Steins;Gate a mention here as an example. 12. I rate anime based on MAL's descriptions next to each number, e.g. "5 (Average)". 13. Japan is awesome and super interesting. I wouldn't want to live there, though. 15. Isekai usually makes my eyes glaze over, but I still read the synopses and listen to buzz before giving them a try. I understand the low score, since the animation wasn't the greatest, it had a lot of characters that even get properly introduced, and the plot wasn't that well executed. It's just a genre like any other. The setting can be fun when utilised properly and given a different plot than just an average guy gets isekaied, becomes OP and has a harem. 16. No. Anime is a very significant source of entertainment, but video-games and visual novels are of more importance to me. 2. How do your favorite characters from anime compare to your other favorite characters?
I used to find characters like Reinhard and Ryou very inspirational, however, characters from visual novels and video-games tend to impress me more. Shizuna, who originates from a video-game, is whom I love and worship in a sincere way without a drop of irony. On a smaller scale of things, characters like Rean, Rance, Kageaki, Haku and Yuuji leave a much bigger impression on me than their anime counterparts. 3. Who is your favorite seiyuu and why?
Uchida Maaya. The main reason is simple - she voiced Shizuna; however, even besides this, I love how varied her voice acting is - many of her roles sound very different to each other; she also has an amazing singing voice and I often listen to her songs; I think the first character that made me recognize her was Ranko from the idolmaster series. 4. If you had an opportunity to make any anime of your liking, what it would be about?
I'd prefer it to be a video-game, but for the sake of Questionnaire let's go with an anime: it would be about Shizuna traveling around Zemuria, partaking in sightseeing, enjoying different kinds of food and activities (e.g. fishing) and fighting against strong opponents. 5. How do you feel about AI being used in anime production going forward?
My main issue with AI is that it's inferior to a professional/talented/passionate human and it's unable to create entirely new things since it operates based on information that already exists. If it, somehow, will be able to get the same results (which seems unrealistic), then I guess I wouldn't mind it. 6. How often does your top-1 anime change and when was the last time it changed?
The last time it changed was in 2011 when I watched LotGH. 7. Can you separate a work of fiction and its author?
It doesn't concern me what kind of people the authors are in their private lives and whatever they do won't affect the way I perceive their creations. One Piece: dropped it at 819 episodes, but it was alright for the most part.Naruto: the first entry was fantastic, little me enjoyed it tremendously; Shippuuden wasn't to my liking at all.

Katekyou Hitman Reborn!: very forgettable; all I remember is that I liked this Kyouya guy.
Gintama: one of the funniest anime out there that unfortunately had a very disappointing finale.

| @DevilishHeart The first part refers to the fact that pretty much everything I enjoy in life originates from Japan. Anime? Definitely. Same with visual novels. Most of my favorite video-games, on which I spend a significant portion of my life, are Japanese made. I tried drawing and generating images and I enjoy browsing art as well, and all of this is based on anime aesthetics. Even though I don’t own too many of them, I enjoy collecting anime figures and other merch, which is, again, Japanese. I enjoy learning the Japanese language, which is unsurprisingly Japanese too. The music I listen to is predominantly Japanese, a large portion of movies as well, although it is mostly old black and white ones. And so on and so on. The second part refers to the way I try to treat my family and friends, but I will admit that my pessimistic nature won over the lessons I received about society in general. The third part refers to Shizuna, who is ultimately a product of Japanese culture. More about her influence on me can be read in this thread. |

Sonic X - I was a kid when I watched this so I can't really regret it Monster - I don't regret having seen it, but I do regret the way I watched it. | 1. Not really. I'd say I spend more time playing visual novel more than watching Anime. 2. I love them as much as I love my favorite characters from other medium. 3. for now I'd say Tomokazu Sugita just because how recognizable his voice is 4. I want an Anime that explores age-gap romance with loli that take itself seriously (there's Kodomo no Jikan, but sadly it's a bad adaptation) 5. I just wish they'd never do that... 6. My #1 favorite character is Kyousuke Natsume from Little Busters! which has an anime, but I liked him from when I played the VN, and I think the VN explores his character more since there are more scenes of him, we see more details and they add more depth to his character. 3.
