| Moriarty...well, this is getting deeper and deeper into the criminal world. This episode turned into yet another bloody fight with attitude and very intense energy. Not going to lie, this show does a pretty solid job at capturing some of the more dramatic moments. The amount of risk some of these characters take is insane. |

| Lupin asks a truce with Tsugaru to deal with Aleister and his rag-tag crew of magic users, though wtih each new danger, increases the stakes further now with James Moriarty's appearance. The man who stole Aya's body, he's a menace with the other magic users, most particularly Jack the Ripper, whom Tsugaru is facing against. The experimentation to combine a hybrid of both oni and human, Moriarty's experiment on Jack the Ripper is a success, though Aya's body played a part in this freak experiment as well. The Oni Slayer vs. the Oni hybrid, it's a mix of two worlds, though Tsugaru was one other test subject that escaped from the clutches from that experiment. Shizuku managed to fare with difficulty against Carmilla, though they got away with the Penultimate Night diamond...with a sleight of hand that Tsugaru managed to secure back Phileas Fogg's precious gem that holds a secret: it has words etched into it, and the area where the wolves are located. How is it that this show continues to be so fast, action-packed and frenetic that it's not enough in pure consistency, it continues to be a triumph in feeling like every episode is only worth 5-minute snippets in a 20-minute length time. Hoping the final stretch will continue this streak. |

| Banger episode as we’ve come to expect, probably my fave so far. Moriarty and his new group make their official debut. So we’re just doing a who’s who of 19th century myths and legends in this and I’m all for it. 19th century London, no doubt Jack the ripper had to be in it and wow this is a cool take on the character. A chimera with all the most powerful abilities in the world is going to be very difficult to take down. That said, Tsugaru was able to keep up with him pretty well. I think that comes down to combat experience. Jack’s probably not fought other people with abilities often while Tsugaru has made a career of it. F’s in the chat for Fatima who literally got ripped to shreds. That’s actually horrifying. Unexpected Yuri with Carmilla and Shizuka lol. That’s some real willpower to be able to overcome the poison and fight Carmilla off. Seeing someone as composed as Shizuka normally is all hot and flustered was somewhat of a treat. And to top it all off, we got the diamond! Wow, Tsugaru with the reverse uno card of the week to pull that off lol. Looking forward to seeing the werewolves next week. |

| Moriarty makes his appearance, and in a stunning turn of events, he was duped by our awesome Oni Slayer... This might have been one of my favourite episodes of the series so far, with the fights between all the combatants to get the diamond really getting serious, with lots of interesting elements, including Carmilla's aphrodisiac powers as well as Jack The Ripper being a Oni hybrid who was the result of an experiment from Moriarty. It was also intriguing to see Sherlock, Aya, and Tsugaru seeing Moriarty again, with each of them having their own reasons to chase after him. Jack seemed too overwhelming for the characters to handle, but Tsugaru was able to steal that diamond from him at the last minute. Yet again, despite all the dialogue, these episodes just fly by in a matter of minutes for me, and let's hope this anime continues its stellar run as we enter possibly the final arc. |

| In the end, Tsugaru had the last laugh as he manged to pick the Penultimate Night diamond off of Jack The Ripper causing a major setback for Moriarty's organization Banquet to create a new monster. It seems like the Penultimate Night leads to the Forrest of Fangs where the Warewolves reside. |

| Nice, they concluded prety well the second volume of the book with this one (they so far only skipped the golem chapter in volume 1). Guessing from the OP, we probably are going to cover up to the end volume 3 in this season . |

| That was more fun than last episode, mostly thanks to Tsugaru, but also Shizuku. Now we understand what that was supposed to be at the end of the OP. Anyway, this episode made me more okay with the show: The writing is lazy and it's wasting Aya's potential as a character, but if you just want mindless fun it's great. And Tsugaru is there to make it interesting. A solid, high 7 that fails to be an 8 out of laziness. |

If anything, the maid probably went to an all girls school to learn to be a maid and had a master similar to Aya. This master probably gave Shizuka "lessons" like the vampire chick. :v |
| The lot of Moriarty gang with their pikachu faces and pissed off Jack the ripper just made my day lol. Tsugaru utterly and thoroughly humiliated Jack there. That ain't even 1-0, that's 10-0. Talking about Jack the ripper, I'd say I was expecting them to throw his character into the mix as well somewhere down the line, and indeed him being that last member of Moriarty's group was a cool conformation of the obvious. Though that ain't the only cool thing, as his fight with Tsugaru with those camera movements and music was a treat too. Now that it'll be a full blown battle between Moriarty's group "Banquet" and the rest of our cast, there's all more to look forward with possibly the last arc of this season. Also, Carmilla was the gift that kept on giving.. by whichever means possible( ͡°( ͡° ͜ʖ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ʖ ͡°) ͡°) |

The past 2 episodes were really good so far, we got to know now the main goal of Moriarty's organization, for him to make that Jack the Ripper even more powerful than now is gonna be insane. Im thinking Tsugaru should take a werewolf power so he can beat Jack and that would be somehow a fair fight |

| Lol the warewolves are in the forest of fangs, huh? Yeah never would have thought to check that place otherwise! Anyway this episode was pretty fun. Nice move cheesing the diamond away there. I guess we're not gonna get much, if any, more of the mystery of the (few) week(s) anymore which I'm a little sad about. Probably gonna be all higher stakes plot stuff going forward. Kinda wish there was a little more goofing around before we get into this stuff. Moriarty the Patriot ended up doing a similar thing which I was also a little sad about. |

| Quite a few action scenes in this episode with Fatima getting shredded, RIP. Btw, not sure if the guy Fatima was with survived or not as it got pretty hectic. Also, the interaction with Shizuku and Carmilla was kind of steamy but glad that Shizuku survived. Since Tsugaru fooled Jack and his group are they going to return looking for vengeance and the diamond? Curious how Banquet's reaction to their embarrassment will play out. |

| If you need to infodump your characters and the audience, at least make it in style having the characters switching a back and forth in between the dialogues rather than make it a soliloqui from one guy and the rest of the cast just going "naruhodo". The author from Helck could learn a thing or two about good writing and execution watching this show. Really looking forward to the next arc now that Moriarty and his possee have revealed their true identity and purpouse. |

on | moriarty and his group make their official appearance this episode, which of course includes jack the ripper. jack definitely seems like a formidable opponent, but nothing our extremely capable oni slayer tsugaru can't handle. i was relieved but not surprised when tsugaru pulled out the diamond at the end. another successful job for our ragtag trio. i wonder what the next job holds in store for them. |

| Wow, I cannot believe people have failed to mention that despite the fact this story takes place in 1897, Europium (the lanthanide metal inside the artificial diamond) was not discovered until 1901. Major plot hole, took me completely out of the story, mid-tier anime, etc. Seriously though, I really love this anime. The writing is engaging, the dialogue is clever, and even when there is not much action, each episode feels like it 5 minutes long. But of course when there is action, it is dynamic and extremely well animated. Say what you will about its current score (which is sure to increase), I am surprised it has not gotten as much attention to this point. For an anime that has not really cracked the top 15 for this seasons offerings in terms of engagement, it sure has been a fantastic find. |
| You can see Tsugaru popping the girl’s heart right next to Jack’s face and seemingly miss before Jack even dodges,I thought it was just one of those empty twists at first but nope,he had one chance to distract him and go for the smooth steal,and he got it! |
