| That was okay; hopefully the show shakes this new habit of rushing the ghost battles and explanations. I am happy it finally had Eiko and Keitaro admit their feelings for each other, though I'm not sure Keitaro understands what it means to have a girlfriend. Hopefully Dark Gathering actually goes deeper into their relationship and doesn't just leave it superficial. Then I'll proclaim victory for it; though it's true anime can take forever to allow any relationship progress at all, such that the mutual confession we just got almost never happens only six episodes in, that's not really that great of an achievement. And it may be that Dark Gathering actually obliges, because it's putting effort into having Keitaro think about conducting his life in ways that consider Eiko. Meanwhile, Eiko is taking a page out of Francis Bacon's Novum Organum and planning on applying scientific torture to the supernatural. This actually explains a great deal: Eiko is a scientist—and not the sterile, mechanical Commander Spock kind, but the passionate, crazed Faust kind. And this kind is truer to what science really is than the Spock kind. So fine, we get more yandere Eiko smile; this time we got her crazy science speech, which is what I'm looking for: If I were in an anime I'd be the kind of character asking my boyfriend if we could cross the river Styx, hand in hand, so we could disembowel supernature and study its innards. |

| While it's nice that both Eiko and Keitaro have feelings for each other I can't help but ponder if Eiko will do something that ends up being worse than the curse that has already affected the both of them, hopefully not. On that note I'm not sure if even Yayoi realizes that Eiko has set everything up between the 3 of them. Anyways, Yayoi's knowledge of the supernatural is uncanny but Eiko... (that girl is crazy). |

| From just camping and cooking food to Eiko getting controlled and thrown off the bridge, this was quite the intense episode. With Keitaro and Eiko both confessing their love for each other, I'm curious where this next step is going to take them, especially with Keitaro saying he will work with Yayoi. |

| Just as same as how Eiko manage to caught Keitaro up, me also manage to caught up onto the latest episode of Dark Gathering. Eiko last moment feels relatable already... So, finally Keitaro learns how to fight back a bunch of spirits. But he still have a long way to become the master of exorcist and need Yayoi to do the finishing blow with the weapon under her little sleeves. I'm not gonna say much about Eiko overly possessive behavior toward Keitaro. Since those two reprocicate loves well enough and ready to risk themselves facing the world of supernatural. I guess its fine and well healthy! |

| That's a very twisted love right there. I don't know how Keitaro isn't getting any creeps from Eiko lol. Anyways, she does also have taken the "for research purpose" saying a little too far. Also I've got no idea how these people can go back to their normal life as if nothing had happened after all the horrid mess they go through every day. |
| Keitaro and the Hozuki's only child with the cousin going camping in the outskirts of town, they deserve a much-needed break after all they've went through. Sure, Keitaro wants to help his childhood friend rid her curse, but her core being to investigate the supernatural, especially about what piques Keitaro's, they both have a mutual understanding to work for each other's gain to remove the curse together. But the scene of a spirit committing suicide over and over at a bridge, Eiko must be seeing things. The thing is, the spirit going to see Eiko, then controlling her to go to the bridge, she's the catalyst when a doll is not available. Yayoi is alerted to this, though they must bring her to the bridge to capture the spirit controlling her. But the problem is, it's not just one, but many going straight for Keitaro, the real target. A good thing that they prepped a safety rope as a lifeline, and Yaoi can tame one of many spirits to get a hold of them. But the work of many spirits surrounding Eiko, it's trying to hold Keitaro hostage and getting him possessed, though the sake acts as a deterrent to force the spirit into the rice bag, even if they have to capture them one by one and dwindle their numbers. And since Yayoi's dolls are super effective, she has a hold on them with easy conviction to figure out the true spirit culprit controlling Eiko, with the spirits infighting amongst themselves and Yayoi forcing her hand because she has the upper hand. A good thing that that incident is just like amnesia with Eiko not knowing what happened to her, though she knows what Keitaro went through and the lengths he went to protect her. Their love for each other will tangle them further into the dark side, though they'll always come out victorious, and Keitaro focuses all of his efforts to rid the curse for real. In many a way, love is like a curse, one that binds two people together...except for Eiko's yandere-ness. |
