| Ha, Dariel trying to take care of a baby is priceless. Not sure how I feel about the fight but he was able to keep up with Radey. Plus, it seems this episode did a decent job at showcasing his talents again at fighting. Guy is multi-talented. It's no wonder why some adventurers have their eyes on him. |

| The hero certainly went all out in recruiting Dariel, but she accepted Dariels reason for not joining as well. Still she wanted some training, as for her master the missing son he mention to me it seems pretty obvious who that son is hopefully they can be reunited at some point. Things are also looking pretty well with Marika and the village has certainly improved a lot. |
| Radey tried hard to get Dariel on her party but ofc Dariel didn't join and she became his student instead. That's nice cause it means we'll get more of Radey. |

| The Hero's Party staying over at Dariel's house for their objectives: to see the mythril and make weapons for them through their top blacksmith Sakai, and find a companion for the Hero's party in their journey to defeat the Demon King. Gashita giving a try is commendable as Lux Village's strongest adventurer, but it appears that Dariel has caught Laidy's eye to immediately engage in a 1-to-1 bout, enough to qualify him as their 4th member. But Dariel has enough of the adventurer life, and living together with Malika and Gran is enough for him as a retiree. Laidy reminds Dariel much of Doroye trying to protect their own kin, and Dariel isn't going to betray from whence he came. But to that extent, Laidy and Sessha stalking Dariel to know his whereabouts, and he's doing his job as the mayor, of how he should be. His answer is immediately apparent through his actions, but Laidy still can't let go of Dariel, this time because of his fearsome skills that proves why he should join their side. To that extent, Dariel tries dispelling the rumors, but because of the previous Hero Alantsil whom the demons turn him into a monster, it's a matter of protecting loved ones, not one instigated for war. Dariel may not be able to join the Hero's Party, but being able to train her meant that he has every opportunity to stop war, even when it's the least apparent. And one of the Demon King's 4 Generals, Zebiantes, managing to locate Dariel, it's another war incoming...? Surprisingly engaging now, the show has finally found its groove. |

| Ah shit seems like a LOT happened in this ep. Leidy pulled out all the stops in recruiting Dariel, I like how he was able to turn her down but also explained the position the demons are in. They just wanna be left alone. Dariel becoming the hero’s master is a nice little twist, but just when it seems like everything is going fine.. one of the 4 generals shows up. Next week gonna be fun I wonder if Dariel is the hero’s missing son. That would explain why he’s so strong, why he was adopted and would make him an even better bridge between the two groups MOMMY IS HERE  |

| Man I have to rewatch this because I didn't even catch the previous hero had a missing son. Oh wait, ok. He was unable to recover the body of his (presumed dead) son. Huh. That would partially explain Dariel's rare swordsmanship skills (which Dariel assumes have been learned from observing the previous hero in battle). You guys are good. Huh. I loved the beginning of this, with the Hero answering the door half-asleep, totally out of it, and quickly coming back still disheveled with upside-down hair ribbons, and then hurriedly fixing them - next cut scene shows them right-side up. It just beautifully sets the Slice of Life tone for the much of the episode, wherein the values of Dariel's real life are observed and compared to the merits of defeating the Demon Lord. The story is spinning so well towards a World Peace resolution, I can see a path forward to a very wholesome, satisfying end of season. What, 5 more episodes? I appreciate the level of fan service, it's kept at a mellow balance, and although it would be very easy to swerve into a harem trope, I hope they've managed to avoid that all-too-easy, common path. The story is multifaceted and well-balanced enough to be exceptional and unique, especially as a fantasy/slice-of-life hybrid. |

| Great episode, yes this has definitely found its groove. Radey is a good and likeable hero but I'm glad she finally relented in trying to recruit Dariel (at least for now, not sure if she'll press again later). It would make sense that Dariel is the missing hero's son considering how strong he is, I wonder what types of complications that it may create assuming its revealed. At the end we get the beautiful Zebiantes general and a quick peek at a possibly mad Marika, probably because Zebiantes may be trying to seduce Dariel into going back, we'll see. |
| I hope making the hero stronger doesn't backfire on our guy. I wonder if Dariel ever shared his past with Marika... I sure hope so. The reaction at the end the baby had seeing Rizet was cute to see. |
| The Hero went to lengths to recruit Dariel in the episode. We start of with the Hero and her crew going to the blacksmiths to check out the mythril weapons. The Hero also says that they have another reason they are in town, to find a 4th comrade for their team. Gashita has a brilliant idea for that, to hold a recruitment in the village. A couple dozen adventurers turn up and they are all put against the 3 current members of the hero's party. Even using very handicapped weapons the hero's party wins easily. But Gashita puts up an admirable fight vs the Hero only ending when Dariel stopped her by throwing an apple at her. She then asks Dariel for a spar sensing that he is quite strong and after a little scuffle she is convinced and wants him to join her. Dariel very casually declined her. Gran knows what he is doing, he wants it from the source. Dariel also gets interrupted in a sort of weird moment with the bottle. She tried to convince him again but Dariel keeps declining her offer because he has found a much better purpose now. Still not giving up her and Satome (the other female in the hero's party) follow Dariel throughout the day and witness him being thanked by everyone and seeing what he meant to everyone in the village. She then tried one last time to convince him but after a talk about each side (demon and humans) having their own family, and not fighting each other is the best, she realises that what she really needed was "a firm heart like yours". Because of this she wants Dariel to now become her teacher, to train her. Bro was also in some deep thought before accepting to become her teacher lol. Welp that ending is a bit of cliff-hanger, with Zebiantes finding out where Dariel is. Seeya next week folks! |

| Well, that was disappointing, especially the fight between our blonde heroine and our MC up to this point, they skipped A LOT of battle scenes and A LOT of dialogue (even monologue) to cram it all... it wasn't EPIC as I hoped it would be. I do hope it's just me seeing these things they're skipping but it was still an enjoyable episode. They're probably cramming all important scenes to get to that point for an ending... like the rest of other series out there that are doing such things... which is really sad to see nowadays... |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Little slow episode building up character development between Dariel and Radey. She is really going all the way to recruit Dariel. There it is, the hint that Dariel could be the son of the previous hero? |

| Honestly not sure whether to drop this or not. Like yeah I'm interested in seeing where the story goes and how Dariel will try to prevent a war, and ofc I think the funny moments are great too like how Laidy was sneaking around in a crate, but then there are some pretty dumb moments (at least to me). Like what was with that scene where Dariel started to get excited over the baby's bottle lol it's not too bad, but yeah it is weird. I've also realized that there really aren't many characters I like. I feel the only characters I'm really interested in atm, are Bashbarza, because I really want to see where his side of the story goes, then there's also Laidy and her party members, who I think have been pretty interesting so far (mainly Laidy and that other girl. That other guy seems kinda left out imo), and Gashita, who's been growing on me a bit. A year later, and he's actually a pretty skilled adventurer! Other than them though, I'm not really interested in any other characters. I'm not even interested in that many to begin with really. And then there was that scene where the hero and her party fight off a bunch of other adventurers to secure a place in her party. I'll be honest I kinda wanted to actually see the party beat them up, instead we just sort of see them all on the ground after. It's not that big of deal but idk I think it would've been cool I have to think about it more, but this may either just get put on hold or get dropped. Or I may just look past everyone else and be here for the few characters and whatever may be left of the story, but even then that doesn't really sound fun so idk :/ |

| Was to be expected that the hero wants Dariel in her party, I also wouldn't leave my cozy life with my busty wife for that though. Looks like demon nee-chan appears next. |
