| So an office worker is granted with a subpar skills lol Tsuyoshi seems like the type of everyman even in this new world. A very laid back guy judging by his personality. I do hope that he knows the world he's in is far from safe with roaming monsters around. Even from this episode, he was protected by some adventurers at the right time. As the show is advertised with cooking elements, we do also get to see him making some delicious food. A very useful skill in their world if you ask me. Decent start so far. |

| The show started just like a standard Isekai with Mukoda having the ability of Aeon Net Super where he can just buy any item at will which in itself is a pretty handy ability. He was able to satisfy his companions along the journey with the food he made. It was really delicious to look at. I can just imagine the taste. LOL. I like the art direction in the show and so far Mukoda seems like a nice and wholesome guy. I think it's gonna be a Slice of Life Isekai with him meeting more and more companions like Feru in the end. I also like the real-life ingredients being used in the show like Suntory and Ebara stuff. It's gonna be a fun ride. Never thought MAPPA would make an Isekai but here we are. |

| Yay, more Isekai! Even better if it's a MAPPA product, of which this show is the acclaimed studio's first dibs into Isekai and LN land. This is the nth time of isekai reincarnation shows this Winter season, featuring 27-year-old Tsuyoshi Mukohda whom he is suddenly transported into another world with the oh-so-typical Hero Party. But since his only Unique Skill is Online Grocery, he rather just left things up to devices, and the way that he activates his skill is through accessing the in-game menu to purchase things from modern Japan. It's a good thing because the kingdom he's been summoned to has their fair share of troubles brewing from within. Being new around town, Tsuyoshi seeks advice from the townsfolk, and since he can buy food to be made in the fantasy world, why not, as he travels from town to town. As expected, it is hearty...but not just the food having the ability to increase stats, it attracts the legendary wolf Fenrir, and Tsuyoshi is forced to make food by the amount to appease it. Fenrir is pleased enough to make a contract with Tsuyoshi, and as much as he wants to refuse it, he can't. And so then, a contract is made, fix meals for it, 3 meals per day. Pretty typical start, let's see where this will go. |

| Fun start - i am upto date with the manga The "heroes" are so stupid, automatically taking the Kings word and believing in their claim about being under attack / threatened ad that only the Demon King has a way back home Im really looking forward to Sui turning up as that lil psycho is one of my favourite characters |

| Surprised to see that MAPPA even wants a piece of the isekai cake. I would like this more if it wasn't for video game mechanics in combination with the other cookie-cutter tropes. A gourmet isekai is dope(Isekai Shokodou is more of a worksplace series than isekai) I guess I have to wait for Dungeon Meshi. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Would've skipped this without a second thought like countless other isekai this season, if it wasn't for Mappa themselves doing this. Though you still can't take few things and make them something out of their nature, rather non-generic I guess. Same summoning skit, same stupid heroes, same not-so-worthy protag. Though will continue this for gourmet troupe. |

| Isekai Restaurant vibes but camping hero edition, I'm down. It's weird to me the people summoned with him didn't realize the value of his unique ability right away the name alone spells it out for anyone from his world. I don't care how OP I am, having someone along who can summon food from your home world is priceless. |
| Honestly thought I would fall asleep for the first 15 minutes, it felt so long and boring. But I came for the food and it didn't disappoint, looking forward to more of those scenes. Meshi sakuga |
| Food isekai, yay! I like that MC isn't like your usual hero who gets op right away killing monsters left and right. His skill is a cheat, but could be interesting. Friendship route with a monster is also appreciated. Feru reminded me a bit of Madara (Nyanko-sensei), especially with that attitude. Duty to feed him 3 times a day, haha. Well, I guess he'll provide some protection at least. |

| Mappa's first ever light novel adaptation, and it seems to be just as good as I expected it to be. And just like Chainsaw Man this anime has no production committee and is solely produced by Mappa. |

| that was more fun than I expected it to be tbh! I tend to have really low expectations for isekai but this one is cute and feel-good (so far). |
| Not only was I tempted to watch this because it’s an Isekai made by MAPPA, but the concept really interested me because I’m always looking for fantasy/isekai SoLs and so far it definitely has that vibe, and Mukouda’s Amazon skill is hilarious and unique lol. And giving this is a MAPPA show, I did notice how nice the art is, especially on the backgrounds because during the cooking scenes I wasn’t just focused on the food lol, and speaking of the food it also looks scrumptious. Mukouda was also really smart getting out of that country when he could, I kinda feel bad for the students but they were also being assholes so whatever lol. I also enjoyed the party Mukouda was traveling with, they’re a nice merry gang and their reactions to the food was great. And then came the final bit with the wolf, really loved the classic sound effects they used when Mukouda was scrambling to make all that food lol, and I saw someone compare Mukouda and the wolf to Shaggy and Scooby Doo so that makes it even better lol. In a season ripe with Isekai I’m glad this is one of the ones I chose. |
| Damn. It's sooo good. Challenger for the AOTS. The usual MAPPA quality (which is good). I also liked the concept of food tasted by people/creatures from another world in the Isekai Shokudou. Here it seems more like a traveling setup - with the main traveling around. But we'll see. (Maybe he will open a restaurant lol.) The main char is great. Not a boring shounen super hero guy. Or a guy that just wants to be lazy. Authentic/realistic behavour. Him assessing the situation. Trying to be careful. I also like the comedy. Some moments where he thought about stuff ... felt funny. Best was the Fenrir guy with the contract (expecting 3 meals a day) lol. :D The magic cooking platform ... also was fun. (Other guy wanted 50 gold and he bought a cheap thing in the store.) One of the better Isekai I have seen - and easily tops the 4-koma adaption with the handyman. (Benriya something ...) I liked the explanation with the currency at the end. Surely they will use this seconds at the end for other explanations as well - in the upcoming episodes. Skill explanation ... was bit short. (We just saw that he has to use voice to call the stats screen ... then touching the buttons to access the skill.) I wonder if he later will use food for buffing ... for tactical reasons. (Fenrir might need a lot to count as 1 use to get the stats boost though.) |
| Mukouda has been transfered to a fantasy world and the only skill he has in online grocery. With that skill he is able to travel with a party to a nearby country. And it seems he is going to be traveling alongside Fenrir as well. I kinda still wish the visuals were better, nevertheless MAPPA did a great job. Generic first episode, but it's gourmet so I'll give it that. |

| Seeing that much isekai/reincarnation adaptations this year means there are a lot of isekai novels sprouted past years. And that means youth audience has demand for isekai. And that means they are not happy with this world and own country in particular. This is sad. And even more sad that I can relate. We need some changes, some new drive after space denied humanity. |
| Wow, what an amazing first episode. I had no prior knowledge of this manga, and started watching it without any major expectation as it's another fucking isekai, but damn. Very enjoyable! I hope the rest of the eps will be great too. |
| Wow a main character that isn't a moron, or a horny monkey. Someone that actually considers the repercussions of their actions and decides to keep they're cheat skill an actual secret. He's just a sweet guy that wants to live a comfortable life, its been one episode already and I love this man. I also like how the wolf forms a contract with him just to get his amazing food. Its a comfy anime and right now I need something like this. I hope it will continue to be good to watch and not slowly decline. |

| It's finally here! I been wanting to read the manga, but I was a bit weary coz the series is still ongoing (I think lol), but now I can get started watching the anime & so far, so good. This kinda reminds me of Beast Tamer wherein the MC was kicked out of his party coz he was useless, then he ended up contracting quite a lot of powerful beings. This one has a different twist to it: he attracts his contracted powerful beings by cooking delicious, otherworldly food! lol Can't wait for next week's episode. |

| Anyway, I'm literally just here for the food~ I love the premise of Mukouda cooking for otherworldly mythical beings, and it's so funny to watch him continually try hide his online grocery shopping. It just looks fun and comfy so far, so I hope they can continue to give lots of excuses for cooking shenanigans every week. And maybe it'll be able to fill the Isekai Shokudou void I've been feeling, just a little bit. |
