This is just a poll I wanted to do, out of pure curiosity. If you have re-watched something, feel free to list it!

Normally i rewatch maybe 5-10 shows a year.
But 2019 and 2020 a lot of garbage happend in my life so i did rewatched a lot of shows those two years. Just so I could REALLY ENJOY what I watched and could keep the garbage away for me, for a little while.

I rewatch quite often. I also reread many manga/books/LNs and replay a lot of games. To me it's no different from "relistening" to a song multiple times. ^^

I've rewatched a few series like: Kanon(2006), Is the order a rabbit, One punch man, Takagi-san, and most of them are my favorites.

Pretty often. I rewatch when I have the feeling that an anime deserves a higher score than the one I'm currently giving (or to confirm it deserves a 10/10).

I did drop some rewatches because I got bored, but some other anime became my favorites after rewatching them. So I realized that if an anime isn't enjoyable because I already know what's gonna happen, it means that it wasn't that good in the first place.

Just light comedies or something that I really love. Most of my favorite animes are built on intrigue and plot twists, so it's not very fun to watch them often.

the rest I don't remember.

Depends.

I sometimes do because I want to prepare for the next season.

I buy the DVD/Blu-ray and give the disk some worth in my consoles to re-experience them. Unlike with physical manga I will buy the volume but if I have already read it digitally I won't re-read it but keep it on the shelf. To me with re-watching it physical is that I usually wait until it's been a while to see it. Either the time it takes to be available on disk in my region or just that if I saw it later/again close to the disk release/re-release I may or may not pick it up but not re-watch it straight away.

I will re-watch if a dub is available sometimes if I already saw the sub or vice versa with seeing it dubbed but re-watching it subbed to see the differences.

Because I just feel like it and want something familiar.

That or your so bored and want to watch it more than 10 times for a good laugh, understand the smaller details or whatever

Once in a blue moon. I'd much rather spend that time watching something entirely new and gaining a new experience. The only time I would ever consider rewatching an anime is if I feel like I didn't enjoy the anime as much as most people did, and I want to give it another watch to see if my perspective of that anime changes or not. That, or if it has very high rewatch value, which I personally don't see many anime having.

Yeah especially if it's a show where you may miss stuff due to forshadowing.

I would say mostly it's if a new season is coming out and I haven't seen it in a awhile so I can remember the plot though.

Yup I rewatch stuff all the time. It used to be mostly my favourites cause I just love 'em, but the stuff I rewatch just keeps expanding. Instead of watching something new possibly bad, it's sometimes nice to get something familiar.
It's also funny even for shows you know well you tend to notice new details when rewatching.

I don't rewatch for the same reasons you do but I had the same thing happen where some anime became favourites after I rewatched them.

Yeah, just saw your re-watch count. That's crazy. I thought I had a lot at 129, but apparently not.

Pretty much all the time. It doesn't really matter if it's a favorite or something I don't remember much of. Sometimes I just do it to see if my opinion on a certain show changed compared to when I first watched it.

When I first got into anime I was more like a 5 where I was always re-watching. Now it's more once in the blue moon. I have been re-watching a bit more of late. Honestly want to do more re-watches in the next year. It's nice to revisit favourites especially if you are having trouble getting enthused for anime again. I don't really understand people who intentionally never want to go back and rewatch their favourites.

When I feel I'm not enjoying new animes and that I'm about to quit it, I just go and re-watch my favorite ones, that works.

yes I do. Basically my entire rating system ranks how much re-watch value there is. I won't rewatch too often because I don't want to ruin it. I try to wait at least a year, preferably two.

Tbh, I have so many anime I still have to watch that I don't think I'll be able to find time for rewatching something like JoJo's or Dr. Stone
Maybe like in 5000 years when I finally finish all of Bleach, FMA, and a bunch of other shit that I've somehow slept on for so long.

Sometimes
When I was binging anime throughout the spring and summer, I didn't rewatch any shows. Now that I'm trying to slow down my intake of new shows or shows I haven't seen yet, I've been rewatching shows that I've enjoyed in the past. As of now I'm rewatching my favorite anime K-On! and it's just as good as when I first watched it if not better!

*Ahem*

I think I have a problem though. It started off with just rewatching my favourites, then I had a really bad streak with new shows I tried to watch that all seemed crap so it felt so nice going back to rewaching good shows you already know.

Now when trying to figure out what to watch it's just a carousel in my head, I've decided many times to rewatch stuff that isn't even a favourite instead of watching something new, unknown.
I'm trying to work on it though.
