| RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE!!!! FUCK YEA!!!!! These chapters are getting exponentially crazier ever since the first Hell arc. Don’t know whether to trust Makima about her plan, but I always thought she is looking at some bigger picture. Makima’s reveal about Chainsaw Man’s power is shocking, but it seems so random. Why would a Chainsaw devil have that power specifically. I’m guessing it will be answered soon enough. |

chainsawman eat the fear manifestation, not the event it self as makima pointed out. in case people don't remember, devil is manifestation of people fear. so when the devil eaten, people wouldn't fear it anymore, thus it become forgotten. not that the event it self gone, people just stop fear and grieving over it, thus creating suffering. the darkness would still be there, people just stop afraid of it. also what makima promised for the contract with japan prime minister are for chainsawman eating 4 horseman of apocalypse. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Horsemen_of_the_Apocalypse so yes, chainsawman is messiah. makima is apostles. chainsawman series are biblical propaganda all along. tho it give philosophical question, Does erasing all the strongest fears actually increase the happiness of the world and make it better and shit like that? Does erasing bad memories help humanity reach happiness? or made humanity keep repeating same mistake creating new fear? if you remove the bad things in life, would the good things be considered bad if theres no bad things to compare it to? what is fear and happiness anyway? turn up in the next chainsawman chapter! | Devils are spawned off the fears of stuff correct? That's why the Gun Devil was so feared, and why Governments were manufacturing them in their own country to keep increasing the power right? Why the hell would the fear of Chainsaw's manifest the ability to completely erase things from existence? Chainsaw's don't do that. Don't get me wrong, this revelation makes Makima's character work on a stronger ground, and adds up to why Chainsaw power was built up so much over the course of the series, but it feels inconsistent with the pre-established rules for Devils. |

| So now we know why everyone wanted Denji's heart, but I don't get what's so special about the chainsaw devil that he can just completely erase a devil's existence by eating it, especially if the gun devil can't do that. Also I just realised, if the devils are manifestations of fears there's probably some funny devils out there. They'd be weak for sure, but definitely funny |
| So that's who CSM truly is. He can erase the concept of fear, apparently. And Nazis, for some reason. Would love to see a Nazi devil. Makima's motives are simply to make the world better. Generic, but that doesn't make it bad. I hope we learn WHY she wants to make the world a better place. |

It is the top Primal Fear, and now it fits what the future devil told Aki about "The devil that the all devils afraid of" will come after he would kill Aki and Power. | As Makima is about to resurrect the devil's she's killed, including Aki, Angel and Power, etc. she gets attacked by Anti-Makima Squad. They summon Hell Devil, while Makima is getting "killed", but she asks for Chainsawman's aid, who evolves. Then, explains to the man that she's building world peace. Through the Chainsawman's "legend". Not Denji. As if another removed the past knowledge of Nazi, etc. by eating those devils, Denji can consume and make any "devil" vanish in existence of even the past, as she explains it... What the fuck, Fujimoto. This story is all over the place. |
| Makima won, and I just kinda sat here and let it all play out. This kinda broke me, but I really don't think it broke me as much as Makima broke Denji. God damn. Although, it's kinda bullshit that Chainsaw Man can just eat Devils, while erasing memories/events that a said Devil's powers were globally attached too. Like wtf? Asspull |

| Yeah, it stopped making sense for me on this chapter. It does say that the things the fears are based on disapper too, like the 4 other ways a life could end other than death and the 6th sense people "used to have". So Chainsaw Devil is a god that rewrites reality? What if he eats the Future Devil? Will time stop then? If it doesn't work that way, and he only erases the memory of that fear, wouldn't you be able to read abouth the war in a history book? Either way, doesn't really work. Just erasing the devils forever would be a cool power, but this. IDK, man. |
