As the title says. An anime of your choice gets to have another season, but won't be made by the same studio that made the previous season(s). Which anime will you choose and which studio would you like to take over?

My pick would be a second season of Tsuritama produced by KyoAni. I think it's aesthetic is already similar to KyoAni's general style so I'm sure they could keep the charm of the visuals up. Plus they have experience with SoL so I'd trust them with Tsuritama.

cool thread. it's pretty challenging because if it's a show you want a sequel for, usually you'd like it to be made at the place that originally made you like it.

some of my answers are kind of cheating that premise but i'll give them anyway.

though it doesn't really need another season, since the ending was handled very well, a second season of cowboy bebop by watanabe at bones could be pretty cool and feel right at home, it could either feature a new crew, or whoever is still relevant from the classic cast and retain the mostly episodic structure for some more space cowboying, adventures and shenanigans (it's also a proven concept since the movie was made there).

i'm still waiting on that fourth season of hajime no ippo and mappa would probably be the place for it, for their great work concerning hand to hand combat and again, it's a studio that already helped with past seasons, so even without the madhouse brand, it would probably be right at home.

a third season for magi would be dope and honestly the adaptation wasn't exactly a-1's best effort on production values, so moving it to let's say... studio bones as well (maybe the team that is in charge of bungou stray dogs this time) would be swell.

a third season of snow white with the red hair at kyoani would be great and though bones did great with the first 2 seasons, i think kyoani would fit that show really well.

to cap this long list i'll go with a double whammy and say wit studio could do a second season for both akatsuki no yona and seirei no moribito really well IMO (though seirei no moribito is pretty complete even without adapting more novels after the first one), since those fit their vibe of more down to earth, or serious fantasy shows.

New season of Paniponi Dash by Studio Silverlink. They already made Nou-rin as an homage to Paniponi, and the studio is more suited for it than Shaft, currently, since Shin Oonuma (co-director of Paniponi) is working over there, and they make a lot of comedies following his style.

JoJo Artstyle is just too Unique to be adapted plus it's so Unique that it can't fit into any Genre so David Pro is always the option

Then we have Berserk, Madhouse is Dead, MAPPA is busy, WiT's Character designs lack of diversity worries me. So I sometimes think David Pro is Great Option or else UFOTable and KyoAni Collab is required

Terraformars - the studio change, ruined it. I preferred the studio that handled s1.

High school dxd - the studio that was in charge of the first few seasons.

Log Horizon - I prefer the studio that handled the 1st season.

Tokyo Ghoul - I prefer the studio that handled Tokyo Ghoul:Re, over the 1st and 2nd seasons.

I wanna see more of Detroit Metal City in animated form. It doesn't need the best animation, just strong direction (and the director does work in different studios most of the time). Studio Drive is where the director is currently working (on the Uzumaki adaptation), so I'll pick that.

A 3rd 3-gatsu no lion season would be the best, but I can't pick Shaft...
Maybe Production I. G.? Or Kinema Citrus (specifically the Made in Abyss team)? The directorial style of the show will be sadly lost, but it will continue.

Honestly, with how Ufotable animated Fate, they can pull it off even better than Orange. Perfectly executed CG is still not as good as the colorful yet smooth 2D animation by Ufotable. For reference, the 2D PV of HnK can show how beautiful it would look.

I second that. I also think Highschool DxD should also get another season. But rather than a studio change,I would prefer an arts type change. Any studio will do as long as the end product turns out to be good.

Bones make a dark Digimon Frontier sequel, the characters are now grown up (high school or college) and are called back to Digiworld, also explore their life on earth and family backgrounds more, the few flashback scenes we got in Frontier could set up some interesting stories
