THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Oh yeah, the protagonist is a workaholic type of character that has life changed after being transported to another world. Typical isekai stuff.

What's kinda interesting is the research and medical themes introduced. Feels like the anime will be more slice of life-like the an action adventure. And there's also stylish guys introduced into this show although I expect the anime to give more depth to them later.

Animation also looks decent imo. Not a bad start.

Another Syosetu Isekai work, that's a surprise given Mushoku Tensei's popularity from the start of this year (not to mention Re:Zero and TenSura).

The stereotypical Isekai reincarnation story, but 2 people instead of 1: the usual hero (which is deemed a Saint)...and there's 20-year-old Takanashi Sei, who wants nothing out of the typical cliche of the "Holy Saint" name, and only wanting to live a recluse of a life like Isekai Bookworm's Myne of making medicine for potions and research.

It's been 2 years ever since Diomedea ever made a show, though this is plentiful enough for a start. And also, female Isekai protagonists are a rarity.

Hopoing to see more of this, Sei will change the fantasy world through medicine...but she has a lot to learn.

Just the first episode and she already collect at least 3 men into her harem, and she doesn't even need to use her mouth to feed that hot commander, her voice is enough to control his body. She means business!

Yup... your typical Isekai show with a little twist that the girl has been summoned into the other world and yes, she has already found three men in her harem. LOL. Animation is good as well. Gonna see how this show's gonna go further. I'm looking forward to a female protagonist.

Q1 : is sei the real "saint"? (or they actually "saint?")
Q2 : if yes, why the kyle chose another girl?

Good adaptation of the LN so far. She's a little more homely and harsh looking than I had imagined, but I think it suits her character just fine. Enjoyed it.

Because she was young and cute (yes, he's shallow AF). From the LN:

After the ceremony, that red-haired lordling who swept into the room was unmistakably the crown prince of the kingdom. He didn’t spare even a glance for me; his sole focus was the other girl, Aira Misono. It wasn’t long before he swept out again, this time with Aira.

Honestly, I wasn’t too surprised. I was in my twenties, while dear Aira was in her late teens—she was obviously closer in age to the prince than I was. Not to mention, she had fluffy brown hair, perfect skin, rosy cheeks, doe eyes, and a certain soft sweetness that just made you want to protect her.

Perhaps a bit too much Slice of Life for my taste, but it was pretty good overall. I liked the potion-maker twist and the art looks very pretty and great musical score as well. Not sure if I'll keep watching after the next episode, but I can see it being very enjoyable if you like a more laid back fantasy.

Seems like a nice reverse harem iseka just more slice of life than others maybe^^

So two saints were summoned and our main character Sei wasn't chosen by the red-headed dude (prince??). Boring days turning into interesting after she stumbles into the garden seeing herbs and after that decides to be a researcher and make potions^^.

Sei ends up saving some blond dude with her powerful potion.
I love how much of a workaholic Sei and I kinda already like her as a character (too early probably).

These summons really can drag the most unlikely of people into their worlds huh. Price Kyle though was such a jerk. Being treated like a hero though can get boring pretty fast though. Still its nice to see Sei find a job that interests her that quickly despite being taken to a new world. Its nice that the people at the palace were so understanding as well. Despite being a beginner Sei's talent at making potions sure was impressive. Her pile of potions sure came in handy for those knights though. That last scene though where her potion instantly healed the captain's injuries though really was well done and was complemented well with the insert song. Overall a strong opening ep that while doing well to introduce the setting and the main cast also did well to showcase Sei's priorities within this world was to help others not fight them. While the premise by this point in time is overused the premise here i felt brings some new life to it.

Many new shows lately are bombarded with absurdly low episode scores - possibly bots or maybe haters. Don't pay attention to those - words express better personal impressions than scores.

IT'S HEEEEEEEEEERE AT LAST!!

Been a manga reader since the first few chapters, I'm not gonna say it's a masterpiece but damn, it's among one of the far better isekai I've read, and it's also a really enjoyable one if you're just looking for more SoL-oriented stuff. Sei is definitely a better lead than my fellow isekai enthusiasts are used to as well.

Solid fisrt episode, indeed Sei is the real saint and the other one a fake, this is indeed clichè, the summoning misunderstand, classic for such otome isekai, but is interesting and is never boring.

Too fast, and really bland content wise so far. Even the actual isekai concept of how she got transported and just her adapting to that world felt really underwhelming for a start, and the other characters in this harem isekai version of Shirayukihime were all meh too. The manga for me is average, but at least had a lot better of a start than this anime premiere.

Woman is summoned to another world and is given everything on a silver platter. We're supposed to take that someone else is afforded fame as a slight, but even then, everybody she interacts with is supportive and amiable. Then we simply cut to months later and it goes "And then she saved the day." The story here was already non-existent and the characters not struggling to overcome anything at all, not even feelings of inadequacy or resentment for being snubbed. Now we're jumping right to celebrating vindication over our specialness?

The cardinal sin here is that it's just plain boring. There's no conflict. No development. No dramatic elements at all. Perhaps that's the point, but then we try to have a moment of triumph at the end of the episode. We're not exploring or developing any character here. There's just a parade of attractive men, each with different brightly colored hair, who come on screen to gab with her and then leave as quickly and uneventfully as they arrived. It's definitely not a comedy. Without the dumb "summoned to another world" premise, this would be a story about a woman who was given absolutely everything except fame on provenance of birth, and then given that too. But what does it even do with the premise? So… what on earth is this supposed to be at all?

The story lacks good worldbuilding, technical detail and .. intensity..

But so far no sign of fetish elements .. I feel like that's an achievement in and of itself..

As a person that has enjoyably read this manga, I can tell you this episode felt terribly rushed. The transitions between scenes felt quiet and awkward, the introductions to characters were bad. Diomedea once again proving why they are at the bottom of my studio ratings.

This is actually a pretty good fantasy series and Sei is a very respectable MC, I'm worried though Diomedea is going to continue this bad directing throughout the series. They need to slow it down a bit and focus on the subtle, warm relationships between the characters, More dialogue is needed as well imo.

It's a..uh....relaxing series at the very least.

I'm just waiting for that moment where the Prince and/or other castle staff are like "oh crud, the other girl we summoned (aka: Sei) was the better/more useful/more powerful Saint" and they try to beg for her to come back so and she'll just go "Yeah no. Screw you guys for treating me like ****"

If that ever happens, at the bare minimum, then watching this would be worth my time.

Oh and yeah....there were ridiculous amount of Ikemen everywhere that I had to go back to double check the genre tags LOL
(even for romance tag I can't believe there are so many [seemingly] unimportant ikemen roaming everywhere that I couldn't tell which were the key ones at first glance...)

This show looks like it will be...okay I guess? It is really not a good thing when there is a montage scene less than 8 minutes into the first episode, but the premise alone might keep me watching for a few weeks. This really just feels like a shoujo reverse harem cross of Neo Angilique Abyss and Shield Hero though. Can this show become something good? Yes. Will it? Probably not.

so far so good and the music is absolutely amazing, and I really like Sei as a character especially in the light novel, wonder if they would be able to fully adopt the light novel story to this anime version, hopefully, they'll stick to it.

and I don't really consider this reverse harem, well, there's a lot of men but throughout the light novel story she only has slow romance development with one person and that's the male lead but wonder if reverse harem I know has a different meaning to others. I mean so far there's no one even can be a consider a rival to the male lead indeed a lot of guys have a crush on Sei but she only has one male love interest in the story, the others are just extra to show how popular the saint is, and for me reverse harem means one girl with multiple male love interest or in case of Bakarina situation where everyone loves her and all of them are potential love interest for her.

Interesting premise the narrative revolves around a hero who works more of a support/researcher in a research facility. It deviates from the cliche hero fight and save the world narrative also the beautiful art and animation, and the wonderful sound design! It’s another isekai anime that doesn’t look like it’s going to follow some basic cookie cutter plot scheme, but rather really show its individuality!
It is a shame that people do not appreciate it as it should be, if had an otaku reborn in the body of an infant and a harem of multicolored girls, it would surely be more popular. ☹
