| I find both long and short look beautiful, some characters look better with long hair, some other look better with short hair. And in my opinion it all depend in their personality. For example I find tomboy/tough female characters look better with short hair. YES! SHORT HAIR YONA FOR THE WIN!!! >w< |

| I don't see why shorter hair made a girl less attractive, on the contrary, it has its own exciting appeal. I fancy tomboyish characters just like I find appealing the typical long black haired femme fatale waifu materials. However pink, violet or green hair turns me off, be it long or short. |

| Even though I hate the trope of "girl gets rejected and cuts her hair", I think that there are a lot of attractive anime girls with short hair. Generally I prefer long hair, but that doesn't mean that a short-haired girl isn't attractive. Nikumi from Food Wars with long hair? No thanks, she's one of the most beautiful anime characters to me. I do agree, however, that it takes a while to get used to if there's a girl you've seen with long hair for the longest time. Short hair doesn't make her look worse, imho, especially since her facial features won't change with a different hairstyle, but it's still a bit odd at first. |

| Well even in real life I find more attractive girls with longer hairs so in my point of view also anime characters loose it when they cut their hairs (1. example of anime girl is blonde girl from goblin slayer's movie). In real life but more in anime it looks like boy's haircut (no offense just saying how I feel when I see short hair). |

| It depends on the character, really. There's nothing wrong with long hair, but in general short hair is much cuter. I liked Senjougahara both ways but preferred Hanekawa with short hair. Serena from Pokemon looked better after cutting her hair. |

| Cuts her hair how much? A lot of girls look really cute with short hair, but sometimes it's just a little too short. In Houseki no Kuni Phos looks worse with shorter hair imo, although when you think about it logically they would be going to a jeweller rather than a hairdresser, but her hair is already fairly short to begin with and looks very cute that way. Rem's hair in ReZero looks really good short and I've seen pictures of her with long hair that simply don't look as good. Bald girls will also never be a fetish of mine. |

| Uh, is that even that common? The only anime I remember where a long-haired girl cut her hair was Monogatari. And Tsubasa even became an actual decent character after she did that (not to say cuter as well), so for me it's the opposite. |

Whaaat?? Just because of a hair cut?? Did you at least stick around for the plot, or did you actually drop it? Cause the story gets really good n I highly recommend it! :) Also, her hair has grown a ton in the manga so it's not nearly as short as it used to be! |

| Well, I don't think so. It depends, although I actually prefer a short haired girl. An example: - Aika S. Granzchesta from Aria Series has some hair modification. I think she is more attractive with short hair. - Yona from Akatsuki no Yona, I really love her with long hair, but she still beautiful with short hair. |
| Not always, not always. For example Hanekawa looks SO much better after she cut her hair and stopped wearing glasses. Also I think Serena from Pokemon XY looks way cuter with her hair short. Oh and Mikasa cutting her hair in season 1 giving us the look we all know and love. It really can go in either direction depending on the character and what the new hairstyle is like. |
