What the heck, why isn't there a kiss scene. I want to see Sinon kissing, lol. Sinon didn't use the arrows anymore, wasn't that Hecate. It seems like they were pressed, good bye Sakuya-chan. Besides that, I'm glad to see Leefa in this episode.

Yeah, it looks like they've given up, unfortunately there's no rape scene to Asuna. Will Kirito wake up? Kirito has been too long AFK. I know it's not a game anymore, 871.

Eww, Gabriel is back. Not going to lie, first half of this episode was kinda umcomfortable to watch but at least there's Sinon.

Seems there's still building up more into this arc revolving around Kirito as well. Gabriel/Subtilizer was not a comfortable eye to see again in the Underworld.

"That person"? He sold info. to US for himself.

Oh, Ishida-san's character is now using someone Sawashiro-san's character has trauma with. He tries to suck her soul by kissing, but pendant by main guy stopped it. Gun releasing for both of them and seriously fighting.

Other characters' fighting and one of the characters understanding their languages trying to talk. The two of the characters that appeared in previous ep. and showed talking in real life trying to listen to her. Talking failed because the guy w. hood prevented him.

Cousn girl caught up to the newly formed couple.

It seems like there's a robot in real life fighting against enemy team. 2nd Alice? Code 871 appearing. They just realized that person's identity.

871 person hates main guy and doesn't care if he exists anymore because he killed admin. He's one of the guys drawn to her.

The comrades are already in limit. Main girl gave up and listened to him. He set them to be criminals then?

That guy from first season vs. unconscious guy.

What's that at the end?

Wow a lackey of that pervert Sugou came back to haunt us. A perfect insider for the damm yanks. Funny thing about Yanai's hopes is that the only reward he will get is a stab in the back. Even when incapacitated Kirito still protects his friends with his actions. The battle between Sinon and Gabriel though while fun did well in showing the power of incarnation within underworld. Despite the ferocity of their stand the numbers facing Asuna and co is just too overwhelming. Vassago though sure did well in preventing the brief spark that Sinue tried to create with her words. Leafa's reinforcements sure were timely in saving Sheyta and Iskahn. Amusing in how Yanai got that attached to Admin though. Despite their bravery the intro of the chinks and Koreans more or less guaranteed their victory here. Given Vassago's nature and the beef he has with Kirito things sure are looking dire. Just hope that Kirito would wake up soon and wipe that grin off Gabriel and Vasago's faces.

The traitor upon the Ocean Turtle, looks like he's in cahoots with the US in the first place, placing Higa in immense danger.

Back in the Underworld, Gabriel Miller has subbed into the world as Subutilizer, and just like got a mental hold on Sinon (whew, almost lost that kiss), and for a lucky charm, Kirito's pendant has saved her from calamity.

A diffusement was made between the Korean and Chinese players and the Japanese, but PoH in his immense "wisdom", be evil just to eradicate the world and make it evil once again. There's just no potluck of hope to save that which was lost.

A real human that's not a Fluctlight within the AI-made world? The true identity: Code 871, that turned out to be Yanai the traitor, and the disdain of Kirito defeating Administrator Quinella is written all over his face, and just like the Integrity Knights, his obsession over her is truly immense.

Everyone is at their limits, yet PoH is still in his high-tide to give a pep talk to Asuna and the rest to settle their scores all the way from the very start of SAO. To abandon his ethos and eliminate the rest of the Laughing Coffin crew, even fight Kirito back then (which has an effect now).

The stakes of vegetable Kirito vs. PoH. It's showtime to settle their unfinished fight...

Haters will still try to shit on SAO after episodes like today, lol.

This part of the book made me so uncomfortable and anxious to read because of how Vassago was such a cunt.

We’re here finally, Alicization lasting. Some of my favourite moments in literature are coming up. So hyped.

Nice Ordinal Scale callback at the end there too. Looks like next week will have a lot of anime original content since we’re at the end of volume 17.

Gabriel is back as Subtilizer and almost killed Sinon.

It was hard to see Asuna and the rest dropping their swords. Vassago/PoH now wanting to take his "revenge" against Kirito. Looking forward to seeing how this will unfold.

To be fair, this episode has almost everything people hate about SAO, from the almost rape to the awful villain character.

At this point you have to accept the story will go on like this forever or just stop watching.

Op poster sure has a fascination with sexual acts. His thread on demon misfits was all about boobs and girls and now this post about Snion kissing. I mean who would she kiss, shes fighting Vectar ffs. Who let this person make our polls. You should be ashamed of yourself.

That aside, great show, perhaps we will get to see Kirito awakening soon, seeing as they just wheeled him in front of a SAO player responsible for all kinds of mad shit.

Yanai is the traitor or spy no doubt

so there are 2 ways for an artificial fluctlight to break their limits like Alice eh one is emotional circuit breaking and other is logical circuit breaking and Alice did the superior logical circuit breaking

Yanai revealed all his crimes and Higa got shot.

The Japanese players are trying to convince the overseas players that they haven't done anything wrong but they achieve little to no success.

Asuna's party is in trouble and PoH wants to confront the unconscious Kirito.

SAO's server was turned on!? What's gonna happen?

I always find it very sad how Kirito can save everyone since episode 24 except Eugeo (although he wasn't in a coma yet, well incarnation works wonders for female characters).

Of course, no other male character may receive screentime (Klein lost his arm and is later humiliated by PoH. Why does the author hate Klein so much?)

Although Asuna, Agil and Klein had fought at the front in SAO for two years, they are mercilessly overrun, but Kirito just has to snap a finger
--> Incarnation is bullshit (lazy writing)
Last but not least, I like PoH, especially because of its background story, and he finally gets his glory hour.
Wait anxiously for a particular scene. For this scene I'm going to listen to this song from ReoNa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnlqUxoFIeg

Still a good episode 3/5 (for the last five minutes, the rest is not worth mentioning)

So Yanai was the big mastermind behind all the incidents, he leaked info to america and changed things in the underworld.

Also woah so PoH intentionally leaked info about the laughing coffins to make the assault team into murderes, what a shrewd guy.

Well they lost the battle and Kirito is in trouble, time for him to finally wake up and kick ass.

Also that thing at the end, is Yuna gonna finally show up? We saw her cameo in the end of Lisbeth's speech.

So I've heard that Kirito will wake up in 6 or 7th episode. Please hurry up man.

The foreign players are the worst part about this season, how much of a dumbass can you be? That PoH guy is literally talking in front of you and doing the evil laugh and shit, dude's talking about murder and blah blah but all the other players just standing there like a dumbass.

The good part, it hasn't started yet, I'm getting tired of waiting every week for snippets of everyone's perspective. This is what happens when you try to show too many character's perspective, there is Sinon's perspective, then the Ocean Turtle's, then Asuna's, then Leafa's, and then the new characters I forgot their names and a bunch of other characters.

Overall, I hope that they'll just combine everyone's perspective by bringing them together in the same place. I have high hopes for Kirito's badass entry.

ALSO!! Yanai is a traitor.

His involvement in Alicization :

  • He was the one with the "prideful and corrupted nature" that is the ancestor of the corrupted Nobles in the Underworld. so he is the reason for Raios and Humbert too.

  • He was the one who created the Code 871 Seal of the Right Eyes that prevented the Fluctlights to easily broke their limit and act more human.

  • He was the one that sold the information to Americans and got them to invade.

  • He was the one that helped Quinella to control Underworld and kept her safe and even made an escape route for her.

Well there was a lot of plot building here.

Yanai is a traitor, Sinon was saved by Kirito (thank god), Asuna lost hope, Kirito is in trouble. A lot went on in this episode, but the pacing was still good. Probably the best episode so far; you can see it's building up to something big where all the plot points come together.

I'm also excited to see what happens with the Korean players that have seen through the ruse. And I hope Kirito kicks the shit of everyone when he wakes up. They have it coming.

Kirito's return is fast approaching, one would imagine. Ultimate despair or is there something worse coming even now? I wonder if that post-credit scene will favor Asuna's side here...

Yanai turns out to be the mastermind with a hand into Quinella's rise too. Damn, I knew he'd some sort of involvement into the earlier bits too but all for the sake of becoming the number one slave xD. Quinella totally played him right into it!

Sinon meanwhile nearly got the dreadful kiss, yikes. Gabriel's a serious freak. Good thing Kirito's whatever that was saved her.

Are Japanese gamers genuinely hated in real life, though? Might be a dumb question in all fairness but I feel like the last 2-3 episodes in particular is really diving hard into this.

The Chinese/Koreans hate Japanese, you should read some of the Chinese web novels and you'd see how much they hate them. There is some webnovel that literally make Japanese as some incest produced monsters or some other crazy bullshit, It's kind of annoying and it's sometimes so bad, I had to drop a whole webnovel cause of their extreme hatred toward japan.

I live in China (Beijing, to be exact) so I've a very good of what you mean. But it's definitely not so bad to the point where empty words from PoH would instantly activate their "All Japanese are Evil!" mode, by any means.

Disappointed by the fact that Vassago speaks Japanese in the anime adaptation. It just doesn't make any sense, given the context. They should've made him speak Chinese and Korean like he did in Light Novel.

1. They lose their characters forever.
2. They can feel pain. Imagine getting your ass pierced by a sword.
3. Residents of the underworld die for real, and it's not a game for them.

Are you sure you're really interested in this show? If I were you, I'd probably just drop it with this kind of an attitude. I mean, all of it should've been quite obvious, especially the main message of this arc (aka "it's not a goddamn game" and "digitized humans should have rights, and if you deny this - you're a fiend worse than the Satan himself").

I would add the same thing for Siune, who is speaking in Korean in the novel (she's half Korean). In the anime, people may wonder why she is the only one trying to reason with them. But, well, I guess if they had wanted to be 100 % accurate, we would have got half of the dialog in Chinese/Korean with subtitles and I don't really see it in a generic anime like SAO.

WOW, what can I say?

The episode was quite entertaining, for me, I was hoping that someone of the summoned Koreans, Chinese and Americans would recognize Kirigod as Kirigod, the legend alive of the VRMMORPG of all times, and as the god he is.

Now without irony, I don't think with all the people they summoned, nobody knows him, recognize him at least, after all the events he has lived.

On the other side, that ending, with what it looks like a SAO server booting up, it's giving me hopes to think that maybe we could see HIS RETURNING in the 5th chapter, which is rather soon for what I was hoping (I saw a video about 6 months ago or so that estimated when we thought this final part of Alicization would have 10 chapters instead of the 11 that it's gonna have actually, that he might wake up at the chapter 6 or 7), so pretty hyped and excited.

I just chatted a bit about this chapter with a mate of mine and he said something that could seem or maybe it's just too obvious, but I didn't think about it when I saw the scene, that Kayaba is coming back again to save our god from his pitiful actual state, or at least, to help in that, giving him his SAO hyper OP avatar which was the most powerful after Kayaba's, I don't know what will happen, but whatever it's, I just want it all ASAP, I don't think if I'll be able to wait enough, I'm really, really excited, I'll repeat as many times as I have to, I never thought before the start of Alicization 1st season, or even after have seen the first double long episode/special, this arc is making me enjoy SAO as I honestly never thought it would make me feel again, after the 1st season, which to be honest, it's just great and I'm very happy about it :).

Hoping to see the kuro kenshi ASAP again rocking really hard on the Underworld.

Bests to everyone ^^.

Any one else getting tired of the sexual assault parts of the story? I'm like come on writers, be better or do something different. There were different ways they could go about "sucking out Sinon's soul." I honestly thought they were going to do something similar to Yamcha and Dr. Gero from DBZ.

Also, didn't like how Asuna and the Human Army surrendered. It's like the good guys are constantly oscillating from moments of despair to salvation/hope and back.

IT'S SHOWTIME.

Yanai is in fact a traitor that works for Sugou but also he was the one that was corrupted in this case. Higa is in big danger with Yanai working with America. Also, I found it cool that Yanai goes along with code 871 perfectly since he was the one who created it. Yanai being the one who leaked the info to the Americans is a huge deal with how the state of the Underworld is right now.

Gabriel Miller is now using his Subutilizer account from GGO and caught Sinon in a mental trap almost stealing a kiss but her lucky charm that was Kirito's pendant stopped that from happening. Obviously only Kirito can be that first kiss lol.

Ok but seriously, at least SAO haters can't complain too much because there wasn't a rape scene this time even though the last one wasn't either. Haters are gonna complain anyway just based on what happened in the rest of the episode but at this point, I question why they even watch this anime if they hate it so much.

What PoH (Vassago) said is an interesting plot twist that he was the one who let the Assault team know where his own group (Laughing Coffin) was during SAO just to make the assault team look like straight-up murders. This lead to Kirito to go through suffering for a long time after that. The two players that we saw enter the Underworld last episode that were lied to already figured out the bullshit and also now the good side is experiencing zetsubou (despair) from all sides. Now we got wheelchair Kirito, still in his coma state, right in front of PoH so it's getting interesting.

There was a ton of plot this episode and I think Kirito will wake up soon so we can "Finish the Fight" and this was the end of Volume 17 in the light novel so that means that we can now get into the volume 18 content after maybe some anime original content mixed in.

Anyone can explain how in Yanai Name, Ya=hachi?, i know 7=nana "na" and 1=ichi "i"?

The episode was OK, the author or director likes sexual tension but we know it from the first season, but no everyone likes it.

I'm disappointing with the code because no one found it, they don't made revisions or what? I'm forgetting some about that explanation

There are to many Deus Ex Machina in this show, I hope they don't make Kirito the savior of all, again.

From that the animation was Fine, I'm waiting for action.

Humans may have two eyes, but we can only see one thing
Don't use the scores to see an anime
