| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Still within filler territory here...and training anywhere is good for the Black Bulls, even on a beach. Nice to see the people of the Underwater Temple back, as is with Kiato and Kahono way back in Episode 40+ ish. A problem has surfaced, and the help is requested once yet again for the safety and prosperity of the kingdom...to Yami's second thoughts. A good challenge for Noelle to train her water powers, and to the surprise, spatial magic user Finral is tasked along for the job. From less confident to competitive siblings, to a daughter's resolve for her mother's revenge against the Devil, Noelle essentially gets a power-up in mental strength. Up against powerful monsters with overwhelming mana, but siblings Kiato and Kahono easily dismisses the pressure of guardians. The distant memories of Noelle and her deceased mother...there is a link for all of these, but right now it's in bits and pieces. Not only Noelle has grown up, but Finral too. Comfortable episode. |

| Damn, this anime gets better with each episode. I remember how bad it was and the screams were everywhere. Now it's just super chill and fun to watch, also the animation keeps getting better. This episode we got pretty godlike animation, good character development on multiple sides. I like where this anime is going, and I hope it will be going for a long time. |

| I love this episode! Seeing how Noelle development into a powerful magic knight is so awesome! Acier is a big part of Noelle's development. Noelle will soon be as strong as or even stronger than her mother. It may time some time, but for sure, she'll reach it! She's growing too! Best Girl Noelle! Also Finral, a good-for-nothing before who's now willing to risk his life to save others!! And a big part of their development is Yami. He always believe on the abilities of his squad members and let them do things they decided to do because he knows that they can actually do it and surpass their limits. Best Captain! Animation this episode is so good! You can really see that they put so much effort on this episode. The scenery, magic spells effect, character shading, everything is so good! Hoping that every week is just like this!  |

| we're going to be in filler for a while guys. The manga is not that far ahead. Although I do think these episodic episodes are a waste. they could have had a proper arc. like make the Fire Temple 7 to 10 episodes long instead of the 2 |
| Beach + training episode = me happy Even tho I could've done without focus on Noelle and with more mindless fun instead. |

| The animation for this episode was good and it was nice to have an episode focused on Noelle. It was nice seeing the water temple again. I found this and the recent filler episodes pretty good. |
| For a filler episode, it sure had some good animation (highlight being Noelle vs the kraken). Liked the focus on Noelle and Finral (for this one, particularly the last scene where Yami remarks how much he has changed as a person since the first time he went to the Temple). Overall a fun heartwarming episode. On another note, I liked the design of the sea guardian, vaguely reminded me of the Ceadeus from Monster Hunter Tri.  |

| Although it is true, that in this chapter it was possible to see the development and evolution of characters such as: Finral and Noelle, I feel that the story was a little bland and boring, I really expected something more developed and related directly to the training, I think that the following Chapter promises a lot because it focuses on two interesting characters such as Charmy and Gordon. 3/5 |

| Quite a nice filler episode. We got to see Nero in her cute attire. I totally thought it was going to be a Noelle focused story but was glad to see it incorporated Finral a bit. Though, I kinda wished it took the span of two episodes but regardless it was good. Next ep is Charmy and Gauche. Maybe they will focus on two people for the next few episodes. |

The ending song gives me nostalgic feelings lol since I've been watching this weekly from episode 1. Honestly, I know some might not agree with me but I don't want the anime to end even if they have to add fillers. It would feel weird without watching Black Clover weekly for me. |
| Surprisingly decent filler episode that wasn't just SoL shenanigans. It looked a lot better than expected for a random filler episode with action as well. |

| This was an okayish episode. Tbh, I don't really like Kahono and Kiato, they just aren't that interesting for me personally. Anyways, looks like Noelle got stronger. Plus, I see you, Noelle, sneakily eyeing Asta during dinner. |

| They did Yami super dirty.. Just when I was hoping the great artist from last episode that drew him super buff like he should be in the manga, and then we get whatever this was when he's finally shirtless AAAAAA. Well aside from that the episode and animation were amazing! Loved it. |

| Feels like an eternity since the last time we saw Kahono and Kiato. And again they had problems with some kind of monster. So Asta and Co. had to take a little break from their training in order to help them. I really liked that the focus this time was on Noelle. She even managed to improve herself in using the natural mana around her which made her water domes super strong. The little fight against that Kraken looked awesome animation wise. You can see that Noelle making more and more progress which is needed a lot in the upcoming fight. So that sea monarch was just protecting his child all along. Good thing Noelle and Co. were able to solve the problem. |

| Episode 136 A Black Deep-Sea Story has the exact opposite problem Black Clover had with its build up: the pacing is too fast. For example, Finral and Noelle are reflecting on the battle with the kraken, but then it is cut short. It feels choppy and it's so unnatural that it's hard to suspend one's disbelief. |
