| Can someone spoil me, Shigure and Rin siblings? And did they frick? nanimeanswhat said: After 31 episodes I've finally understood what Akito is trying to accomplish. She wants to establish a harem just for her own personal use! That explains her yandere personality and high libido. She's quite disgusting tho. That scene with Shigure made me puke. That's a major ewwwww. In other news, turns out that the boy with the hat was Yuki all along *shocked Pikachu face* Poor Haru tho, his girl is apparently a thot. | @YggdraSEED You don't have the read the message in this spoiler message about Akito if you don't want to, but... Anyway, back to the episode and although I do like my beach fanservice, this one was more reserved, which does make a nice change every now and then. The collected efforts of Yuki, Kyo, Uotani and Hanajima back in the previous season paid off as Tohru looks so cute in her pink swimsuit. ^_^ As for Shigure, he's causing a bit of a ruckus with some of the anime-only users here, which was something I was expecting to happen. On one side, he's very laid back and, sometimes, can be helpful to Tohru when he needs to. However, he feels like his personality did a 90 degree turn when Rin came onto him, close proximity and all (nice fanservice shot of Rin's chest, though). It was the same with Akito, too. Akito wants to teach the others a "lesson" since they're having fun and Shigure seems to agree with that. It makes you wonder what the hell is going on inside his head, huh? XD Either way, this episode was pretty good, considering the fact that they adapted 3 chapters and had to leave some content of chapter 53 in the process. Despite that, the missing content didn't subtract the enjoyment for me whatsoever. =) |

| I have a feeling that Shigure is going to be portrayed as a sneaky, calculating person but I trust him; there is definitely a plan in his head that he's preparing to set in motion at the Sohma summer house. That part at the end... Yuki, lemme hug you and give you all the love and affection that you deserve! I didn't really think about it until now but Tohru's had a tough time too; she's lost both parents and hasn't had any one to talk to about it, keeping the hurt and loneliness inside |

| 3 chapters (53, 54, 55) and it never felt like the episode was cutting corners whilst staying faithful to the manga. A summer getaway, and that means a beach episode (which if my memory serves me right, it's been awhile). Shigure's such a tease, Momiji's such a child, and Tohru's completely forgotten about her summer homework (which is a given), which thankfully Yuki helped her with clearing her stuff before the summer rest.Hatsuharu is still his bluntful personality himself, and that gave me a good laugh (but at times be noticeable enough). And Tohru, your one-shot breath swimming was remarkable. The cap that we've seen in Yuki and Tohru's young flashback days in Season 1, this might be the 2nd instance of Tohru sharing the same story over and over, but with Yuki knowing the truth (that it's his hat), that plotline was straightforward enough. Kisa and Hiro's relationship is more than just being Somas, the curse lingers from childhood, and the latter questioning Tohru's "mother complex" is just taking it too far as Tohru's mom's the only support she has, and keeping it strong has been a constant challenge ever since her passing. The most important, yet intriguing, is Rin subconsciously approaching Shigure, that must've taken a lot of foolishness and self-ego, bar none of what we've seen her true self (both outside and within the Soma family, lest the strange connection with Akito in content unadapted yet). And Akito, which we can FINALLY confirm it's a "She", the reveal was very aptly. The amount of control that she emits, and Shigure's relationship of "Rin vs. Akito" (which IMO is really still up in the air). The Lid? Things are beginning to stir up...a lot of emotions are definitely stirred this episode. |

| I don't mind that the show is taking it slow in terms of building up the drama but when it's building it all up at once, as this episode tried to do, it just becomes overwhelming and hard to care about any of it. I'd much rather it go through dramatic beats one at a time rather than this seemingly scattergun approach of throwing everything at the wall at once. Also, Tohru swimming looked comically stupid. |

| I have a bad feeling about this >>; Akito is up to something and I don't like the thought one bit. And Shigure, what the hell!?... That womanizer XD Guess the fever cause Yuki to giggle. He was very happy in that moment, but gotta love that smile <3 What a gorgeous smile! Hope Tohru feels better soon. Don't like to see her sad :( Great episode! |

| Kyo now manages to understand Tohru's state of mind with a single glance, he is the only one who truly understands her, a remarkable growth path. I was almost sure from the first season that the guy with the hat was Yuki, now I have had confirmation. I just can't understand what goes through Shigure's head, I can't frame him. Maybe Akito arrives, trouble ahead. |

| OMG, that dog is getting kinda creepy. I'm not even kidding. It was so scary how he acted. Horse and Akito both acted around him also weird. (Maybe my mind is just ruined, but i thought it was kinda perverted) |
| OMG. This episode just wrecked me. I'm overflowing in feels right now. I don't know what to think. Thanks Gure nii. WTF. Okay okay, now I get it, everybody wants a piece of Shirure (who doesn't?) Anyways. I like to see Shigure's true facade once in a while, his manipulative persona just shines. Another great ep of this masterpiece. called Fruits Basket. Plus, I like how the series always "cut" in the best part, we never get to see if things happened or not. AND that's awesome. LOVE IT. |

| FINALLY someone asks about her dad. Judging from the flash back... I'm guessing mom left Torhu to meet dad, or something? I will be pretty disappointed if the dad turns out to have been abusive or a deserter (sadly far too prevalent in American fiction and reality). Hm... so it seems like Akito isn't feeling the summer weather. I have hayfever so I can sympathize - I'm allergic to pollen and sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure - so I get headaches when it is windy or after the rain. Hope he's takin aspirin for his migraines! On the other hand, he seems to spend almost his entire life couped up in that room, hardly getting any sunlight. I don't know if he's staying in because of a physical ailment (possibly the curse?) or because of something psychological. Barely getting any sunglight, I'm guessing his vitamin d intake is pretty low and his immune system is not in the best of shape. Hattori would have told Akito this, so either Akito can't really come out (for whatever reason), or he won't. Anyway, Shigure is playing with fire here. Yes, Akito is an ass, but he's the head of the family (for whatever reason) and possibly holds actual powers (be it the Zodiac or something to do with the curse). What Akito does (and what happens to Akito) has the potential the affect the entire Souma clan, with the lives of hundreds of people at stake. With Akito as fragile and as neurotic as he is already, Shigure toying around with Akito for the lolz is a receipe for disaster. Since it doesn't seem like Akito can be replaced, then the best thing to do is to change Akito. This is one of those situations where if you have anything constructive to say, then don't say it. I have a very bad feeling that - with Akito's psychological issues, his feeling of abandonment by the rest of his so-called "family", and Shigure's constant mocking - Akito may very well explode, and it will have disasterous repercussions for everybody involved. I will never get over how Hiro and Kisa are ostensibly 10/11 year olds but they act like they're in their late teens. |

The episode seemed shorter than usual, perhaps because they mentioned many issues that remained, that is, there were only hints and nothing in depth, but I would have liked to see something more, oh well! Rin's character only makes an appearance, again, but nothing is discovered of her yet, how sad! I wait with extreme curiosity for the next episode, hoping that it will be very interesting. |

| Ok...So they really did fit all 3 chapters(53-54-55) in one episode!!! I was worried about it but I think it worked out pretty well. So the beach arc is finally here!!! Kyo coming in the water to help Tohru learn how to breathe (which comes from a conversation they had about it in episode 2), was so cute Kisa and hiro were also here and they are adorable! And of course we have the hiro tohru situation which I will say I won't put hiro down about it.Yes he was rude and blunt with his comment but it didn't come from a bad place (like he didn't realize he would hurt tohru, he was just being bratty) he is just a kid and he is trying to better himself, ok! Plus he brought up a pretty interesting point and we also got to see glimpses of tohrus hidden feelings because of it that she always tries to hide behind her cheerful exterior. In other news surprise! (Or not, they made it pretty obvious in the anime) Yuki is the hat boy! I really liked how the anime showed that scene. All I will say about Rin for now is that she looks beautiful |

| Did anyone catch where the episode title came up this episode? Since it’s it’s normally a line in the show. I haven’t had time to go through and rewatch it yet, and I totally forgot to look for it when I watched the first time. |
| Even though I didn't get to see much of a Kyo/Tohru moments; I'm still contented about this little detail that only Kyo was able to perceive that Tohru was actually feeling down. Even though she tried her best to be cheerful. |
 She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did! |
| Oh my finally it's been revealed who the owner of the hat was and I'm actually surprised because I was sure it'd be Kyo XD Ahhhh I really don't know who to cheer for like Kyo really needs Tohru but I personally love Yuki so much it's so hard! Also what's going on with Shigure seriously tho? I mean in some of the other episodes it was already hinted at that he does have some kinda 'relationship' with Akito but now there's Rin as well and my head just went poof o___o I feel bad for Haru ;_;! |

But it seems like it might get pushed back. They better animate all chapters because I think they are all great and not one deserves to be left out. They can change some things if needed, but they shouldn't skip any chapters. Since it's such a wonderful work, the Furuba manga. It deserves to be fully animated. <3 |

| A summer getaway! Though it seems like a storm is brewing. And of course Shigure didn't stay behind because of work. lol I don't know what Rin wants from him, but the framing of the scene was kind of suggestive to be honest. Kyou is becoming better at understanding Tooru's feelings too, and Yuki is the boy who helped her in the past. And Hiro is still a brat. He wasn't even ill-intentioned or anything, though he admitted that he was taking his frustration out on Tooru, but I'm glad that Kisa made him see that what he said wasn't nice. The memory of her mother has been pretty much Tooru's emotional support all this time, and it's thanks to it that she has been able to help the others, but it seems like Tooru herself needs help to deal with her issues. I'm also curious about her father to be honest, but I'm sure we will get there in time. And I'm kind of afraid of what Akito is going to do with if he goes with Shigure, but it might be just what they need to give another step towards breaking free from this curse. |

| I know this beach starting episode was much about getting to know the other junishi deeper, but I'm also more pleased by how Kyo is now way more mature than before, and going along with the rest of the gang just to look out for Tooru. I mean, he was feeling drained just the day before and yet he went with the group the next just like that. |

| I enjoy some fan service in other shows but I really despise it if they just drop tits and ass bombs just like that it's not how this show works! I hope not to see this again. That last part gave me goosebumps. |

| mostly a good episode, I like the beach scenes. Tohru swims funny. ^^ well, also I like the part Kyo knows right away something is wrong with the girl he likes. I think Hiro does not really mean anything bad by asking about Tohru's dad, but then later realized he did something bad. Akito is a dumpster of negative emotions as always, but i learned to ignore him, as he is in the show for plot reasons. |
