| Egao no Daika's OP tricks you into thinking it's going to be a somber, but hopeful war story - in reality it's pretty bleak and pessimistic, and one of the characters that's featured heavily in the OP doesn't last very long in the actual series Silent Mobius' OP gives off a vibe that the series is going to be an intense, action heavy supernatural series, but it's actually a somewhat chill cyberpunk cop drama with supernatural and slice of life elements Victory Gundam has this awesome energetic OP that just makes you want to STAND UP TO THE VICTORY... and then the actual show is one of the bleakest entries in the franchise |

Now, here, I would not blame you for not seeing all of them, basically three which suggest that it will not be quite as happy as the generic "cute girls" thing would be, and that the aforementioned girl might not receive a happy ending. Oh no, she's one of the main characters, so she stays around. |

Just hoping more people will see this and reflect upon The 4th Boruto opening is a metaphorical representation of children's anxiety and growing up in the shadow of their parents. I have been warning people on reddits about its since day 1. It NEVER would LOGICALLY make ANY SENSE to ACTUALLY show ANYTHING from the opening. It was an allusion to their inner fight against said negative emotions. Anyone who failed to realize it is still in their infant state as an art appreciator. And likely disappointed their literature teachers as well. Thanks man. I honestly appreciate it ^^ I don't think I ever would have noticed that. I've been eagerly latching onto whatever hype I can get in Boruto OPs, especially because I've personally found nothing but disappointment in the series. It never would have striked me that way lol |

In Gakkougurashi! OP and ED start as generic happy school comedy sillyness like 1000 other, then change gradually to reflect the increasingly dark story. |

| The Dorohedoro opening comes to mind. Opening is basically all showing one of the main characters cooking, but the anime has nothing do with it. Some scenes show how weird and crazy it is |
