| I have been waiting so long for this and it did not disappoint. I remember watching the original around when it came out an it really got me into anime. Seeing the old cast together with the VAs is such a treat. It had all the fun and action I remembered. (That hand holding part is one of the most adorable scenes I've ever seen) |

| Yeah, I know this has been repeated ad nauseam throughout this thread, but man...some kind of small recap would have been nice. When you don't want recaps, they have them; and when you do want one, there's nothing. It's been 13 years... I would have rewatched the whole series from the beginning, but I had to do that with Steins;Gate to prepare for the new series. There was simply no time. Oh, well. Sadly, I remember nothing. Tessa's brother is a bad guy, and I'm guessing he kissed Chidori at some point? Like I said, I remember nothing, but still, it feels like Full Metal Panic. It looks like Full Metal Panic. So, overall, I was pleased with this first episode. Hoping Chris Patton and Luci Christian return for the dub. Like this season's Lupin, Full Metal Panic was also a little jarring because I'm so used to the dubs of both series lol. Anyway, nice to have it back. But hopefully, one day in the future I can do a rewatch of the entire series. |

| Damn...it's been soooooooooo long since Season 3, but the anime feels like it was just yesterday. And I'm a bit surprised they're going very serious from the get go. Like, not even a nice light hearted episode just to reacquaint the audience with the characters... But it's fine, I'm so happy FMP is back! Also, I hadn't noticed that the "Invisible Victory" thing is quite ingenious....FMP IV...FMP 4....nice. |

| It truly felt as if I were watching the original show, only more than a decade later. No lead-in, straight to the point. It definitely got my hopes up for the remainder of the series. I am looking forward to drama, intrigues and glorious Arm Slave eye candy in the following eleven episodes. |
| Oh my goodness ! I completely forgot that this sequel was coming out! I am so glad that the second episode is already available because this first episode was FANTASTIC! Same animation, same voice actors. Amazing quality and incredible pacing... What have we done to deserve such a nice treat! Very high expectations have formed after watching this episode. I am looking forward to seeing more of Leonard, he is such a good antagonist (x I love hating him and seeing Chidori stand her ground against him! ps. A first episode hasn't gotten me this excited since Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works - Prologue c: Pss. With this episode being sooo good! I wonder if its going to replace FMP TSR of being my favorite of the series c: |

I imagine it will be more-so an optimization of the story to fit in 12 episodes than a full-on redo; though the ending could also be different from what's portrayed in the novels. FMP! IV not a 100% one-to-one adaption of the novels, however; confirmed sometime last year so I do expect some differences. |

| Rewatching this first episode dubbed and it's so great. I saw the original dubbed so hearing the voice actors for the original dub return is fantastic. I missed Sagara's dub so much and after a long ass time, it's great to be back. |
| *Dub watchers walks in* Wow after 7 years of waiting (I sat on TSR for about 3 years waiting for a sequel) it finally happened, I finally got to see more Full Metal Panic. I still wish they adapted novel 6 into a movie to ease the fans back in, but I have almost nothing bad to say about the episode. I was especially surprised to hear Chris Ayers reprise his role considering I thought he was very sick. It might take another episode for everyone to get back into the swing of things, and hopefully they will redub the early lines in the dub for the Blu-rays but so far so good. Souske is asking Kaname to leave the town at the end, possibly never to come back is my guess. Finally, holy crap the whisper from the first scene in episode one was shown, will we pay her off, is she really dead, we'll see. |

| Yeah I definitely don't remember most of what happened so I rewatched half of The Second Raid and now I remember how good this show is. Episode 1 for this season was in line with what the second raid was can't wait to see the rest! Dub VAs sound a bit different but still great, and hopefully the CGI isn't awful. |
| Pretty lovely start of this season to be honest, it only took 13 years to make a new season and well with the improved quality I do really wonder what this season will have to offer in terms of story. Either way you can call me amazed and I sure look forwards to the next episode! |

| Alright, gotta say I dont remember much despite seeing the full series 2 years ago but I do remember enjoying it a lot back then. This first episode however was alright, nothing special, they just continued on, which is fine. Wonder how Sousuke can get Kaname out of there with all the Alastor's out there. |

| I took the suggestions from this forum and binged FMP for the past few days, all of Season 1, Fummofu, and TSR and I'm so glad I did. I was amazed how well it picked up from a decade ago, and improved on everything. The ability to pull heart strings, to build suspense, and to tweak emotions with just a few animation cells is amazing. Just trying to figure out what he was going to ask Kana-chan to do before he chickened out is going to eat at me forever if they don't answer that question in the next 11 episodes! |
| Finally got around to watching this after having the blu-ray sitting for a couple of years, and I rewatched the entire series in preparation. That opening scene with Tessa & Leonard really set the mood, and the rest of the episode was great, too. |
