| Can't we just call it pasta with cheese sauce and call it a night? I mean if we're going this route then most creamy milk-based sauce pastas would be considered cereal too. I think it's best to just accept that pasta and cereal are in the same food group and leave it at that. Human recipes can be even more simple in nature than we think: we take the same stuff in different forms and just put them together, but they're not exactly the same thing. |

| I do not think so because I find flaw in the justification that pasta is a grain and cheese is made from milk. If I pour orange juice into my cereal, it is still cereal. If I eat Lucky Charms Only Marshmallows, it is still cereal. I think it is more of what the company titles as "cereal." Brb gonna eat some marshmallows soaking in a bowl of orange juice |
