| Some people seem to have found Enterprise's personality to be wack, but this was pretty obvious. The whole personality concept of her is the personified interpretation of Enterprise's tenacity as reckless determination, and forging that into a protector status. It should be noted that there was a time when it was even considered "Enterprise vs Japan", becaues that ship was a beast and was the primary factor in keeping the imperial fleet at bay. They aren't really the universal enemy per se like a lot of magical girl stuff that has invasions of abstract shape alien entities, due to the way people are using them. In this way they remind me of the Noise from Symphogear. They have gotten a little crazy on the extrapolation of the girls' powers though; ep1 with the giant ninetail fox and flying unicorn etc was wacky haha. Feels like I'm also in double standard already. Anyway, I enjoy the show to its fullest as a fan of the game and I gave it a 9, just to balance the score even if it's just a little. | So many names, oh my God :S Not gonna lie, Enterprise's lack of personality is becoming rather tiring to see. And her reckless attitude doesn't help much either so I hope Belfast can make her realize how stupid some of her actions were. OK episode overall. |

| As someone who skips all dialogue cutscenes when playing the game, I am learning more about the relation of the ship to each other while enjoying the beautiful fanservice in the anime. I wonder if a male commander will be introduced near the end of the anime to increase the performance of the ships against the sirens or to unite the factions? I do believe we will be seeing more clothing, costume, or skins for the shipfus in upcoming episodes. |

| That background conversation in the cafeteria about the fish and chips was the funniest background conversation I've seen in an anime so far. I also liked that they made it seem like Yorktown was injured, though I think it would have been better if she was actually dead which she is in real life. Interestingly, a second ship named in honor of her is still "alive" alongside of Laffey in Charleston, South Carolina. |

| I love the anime's take on Enterprise's personality. Very cool and hot-headed, since I always assume she was the "onee-san" type from the game. Glad she's the closest thing to a protagonist in this show. Half-expected her to dip in the ocean alongside Unicorn. Belfast being based as usual. Exactly like I remember her in the game, voice and all. |

| It's a bit strange that ship girls are trying to solve problem of Enterprise being too hardworking, at times maybe reckless.. If that's the case, admiral, or whoever is in charge really just has to talk with Enterprise and if anything just give an order to use her power to certain percentages, as well as take proper rest.. Explain to her that she's putting everyone else to danger as well in other case.. They have to have some kind of head, who decides operations anyway, no?.. I think she'd listen to commander.. If she's all about being tough fighter.. Unicorn has a bit see-through dress?.. At least on 12:45.. Yeah, seems like so.. At times, at times not.. So semi.. Well, I'm not against.. ;p Well, I mean.. Enterprise probably isn't the only one who thinks like that.. Who can't really love sea at the same time, when she fights with intentions of killing there.. As well as getting your close ones hurt, as her older sister in some way.. She is bed ridden, it seems?.. If anything, you also just can not like sea just as a normal person as well.. And Enterprise has even more reasons not to enjoy it really.. So would she really have to feel about it in that way?.. I say, if she hates it, she hates it.. It's for her to decide, how to feel about it.. On the other hand, of course, there is her responsibility towards other ships.. But I say that really you don't have to be all excited about sea or anything, and still be able to be a responsible warrior.. Finding and/or remembering what to fight for can be an answer as well, as Belfast suggested.. I like that anime takes topic of wanting to be in war or not seriously.. |

| Can't believe we got a dedicated beach episode since the entire series is essentially a beach episode! The plot may be just a mechanism for delivering fanservice, but it does it well. Watching the dub makes it obvious to which nation each girl belongs, and it's easy enough to know that the US and UK are allied against Germany and Japan. Any other exposition after that is just gravy. Music and battles have been surprisingly good for a waifu anime too. |
