| It's alright. I definitely had a few laughs, but the fight sequences were rather derisory. The ED seems a little out of a place, but I'll excuse it if we do get at least something decent later in the season (I hope). |

| the 2nd episode anime is well done despite how pessimist we all are when jc handled the series. rather than the fighting scene, I'd rather concern myself with small details like face expression and damn, that metal gradation sucks. just get over it already jcc!!! |

| Oh man, the pacing is really bad. I can accept the bad animation but the cuts are really awful and it feels like they're rushing everything so much. Not to mention Saitama's VA seems to be really monotonous in line delivery this time around which isn't a dig to the seiyuu himself but towards the voice director instead. The VA voiced Shirogane Miyuki in Kaguya-sama Love is War and his performance there was impeccable so I don't think it's a talent problem. |

| Really hate the close-up shots where they zoom in on the characters even if it's well detailed. The difference between JC Staff and Madhouse's take on OPM is the way they handle animation. JC Staff focuses on extreme close-ups to the point you can't even see the character's face and does small details while Madhouse does a wide shot emcompassing the surroudings around the characters and the monsters they're fighting,which does wonders for fight scenes. Having close-ups in fight choreography only allows you to witness 2% of the action at best. Also,background such as surrounding buildings don't seem to exist in the Genos vs Sonic fight. All you can see is random colours nobody wanted. |

| Both Fubuki booty's fight with Saitama and Sonic vs Genos were underwhelming. Even Garou's intro and him bashing in everyone's head in was disappointing. I was looking forward to his Anime debut too. :( I enjoyed this more in the manga tbh. Still, I liked it to some extent. Fubuki booty looked absolutely beautiful and hot. Genos has a long-ish face now, so does Sonic and many others so it'shard to them aesthetically pleasing. The after-credits scene were just a bunch of stills of the higher-ups talking. Damn. They didn't even bother. Fubuki was so wrong about Saitama and she was shooked when King came in to retrieve his game. |

| This episode felt strange. Weird pacing and all, strange use of the OST in places. Saitama way overreacting to things he'd normally treat without care. He really needed to defend against Fubuki's attacks? I'd expect him to casually walk through to a B-class Hero attacks completely unscathed, yet he had scratches all over him and had his cape torn (only for that to disappear when Sonic entered the scene...) Not feeling it... |

| The hate of the people seems excessive, the animation is fine, I mean, it is a comedy anime, it does not need a 10/10 animation to work and I think it has been fun enough so far. If you think that the focus of the show is action, you are quite wrong, OPM has never had tension in the first place, Saitama destroys everyone with one punch, you just can not take it seriously as an action series. The action is just an extra and you should not rate the series as bad just for that. |

| The point of this anime should be nonsense fights but with awesome animation, and that's what made the first season so good. This one even the stills are bad and wtf happened to Genos design? Panning shots and frozen frames. A lot of times they even conveniently shot with the mouth out of the frame or filmed a character from behind, because they didn't want to be bothered with animating even the fucking mouth flaps (and a couple of frames of facial animation). Hell, even the opening, where you usually find the best animation, has a bunch of stills and CGI characters (even Saitama wasn't spared). But the episode itself wasn't bad. It was your standard One Punch Man fare. Fubuki seems interesting. She's probably going to be the only reason why I'll stick around till the end of this season. |
