| It was alright. These "monster of the week" type episodes are hit or miss for me, with some being a lot better than others; wasn't really a fan of this one to be honest. At least we got to see some more character developments though. |

| Okaka-chan might have been a face-stealing vengeful spirit that takes the form of those closest to her potential victims but Dororo couldn't help but follow through with her last wishes since she kind of gave her the opportunity to see her again after so long. I like how the Fudo Statue does a 360° spin with its sword yet always manages to hit something on the way. Hyakkimaru finally consented to the hotsprings and they met up with the Priest again. Some other people tagged along and pointed out that big thing tattooed on her back with 13 hooded figures making me think that it's not a good thing at all. |

| Wow, they actually made this episode? Well, at least, it was not worse than in the 60s. But for an episode about faces, people's heads (especially Dororo's) were bizarre, and some bodies too. 3/5 Surprising way to end the episode. @apotheosi Jazzuke said: A lot of people seem to be complaining that this was filler? Isn't a "filler" in an adaptation series supposedly an episode created more or less from scratch to take space and gain time? Well, this one actually adapted the original chapter/episode about the statue behind the fall and its faceless servant. |

| I heard about the second opening being all sort of disappointing and stuff, but damn, they were not stretching it. If something works perfectly, why change it? The first opening was just so good it would have been fine, no, perfect, had they kept it on the whole run of the show. The same thing can be said about the ending. I appreciate this breather episode after everything that happened surrounding Daigo. I feel as though Tahomaru is going to end up on the bad side after everything that happened. I feel sad for Dororo, just after he slightly god over his parents' death, this chick appeared out of nowhere and gave him a trauma such as that. I missed their interaction with that priest, time for more clues to decipher, I wonder if Dororo has always had that map on her back, probably a birthmark, or maybe she only got it recently. Crazy how they knew about that map only after those kids asked her about their destination. |

| Was really hoping we'd have a normal onsen episode to put a little break to the depressing deaths in every episode. Otherwise, I miss the first ED and felt it fit this anime really well, but this ED is nice as well! And they are so cute in the OP, they're definitely family - change my mind |

| One of the better episodes imo. Pretty interesting there was a demon who took people's faces and revived the statue's carver. A map on Dororo's back. Cool battle, reminds me of Okami. |

| new op but too generic compared to the masterpiece that is the first Okaka's voice sounds nice especially when she ends her sentence with that sound "ehh" lol Too bad she's a monster not Dororo's mom, and that big statue is creepy as hell, although the way it swings that giant sword down is pretty cool The trouble this time is resolved with talk-no-jutsu, no blood was shed this time which is nice oh shit something appears on dororo's back looks like some demonic mark new ed has nice beat and chill |

| Well not much of a demon battle there with the statue just linearly moving it's sword in obvious way and blowing some wind. Well at least a happy family bath scene with Dororo, Hyakkimaru and Priest. |
