| ITT people in denial. Imagine thinking any studio could surpass the stacked team behind OPM S1. Get a grip. Quit comparing the differences of the anime and manga. Animation doesn't allow for as near as much time as illustration. |

| It wasn't that bad if you don't compare to the first season. Just watch it with reasonable expectations and it will be enjoyable. Yeah, most of the complains are valid and I agree with them, but it'll be really annoying to read them every single week. Better get used to whatever you hate from now or drop the series. |
| I don't have an issue with the animation, I actually think it's pretty good aesthetically, it just needs to be a bit more fluid Aside from the big elephant in the room, pretty good first episode with awesome character work and a nice setup for future events King is one of us |

| The pace and style were a bit weird but it's still One Punch Man and it's still funny x3 so, I think overall the first episode was pretty good~ hope it only gets better later on! |
| I enjoyed this episode. The pacing was good and I loved to learn more about King and the cause of his fear. Too bad there was some cgi, but overall I think the animation was great. The ending left me curious so I can't wait for next week! |

The OPM "fans" right now Seriously, production is not the great thing, it's just on the average, it's limited animation . Sailor Moon did not have good animation either, it used to abuse the trick of repeating the transformation sequence multiple times so that it seemed to have good animation in each episode when it was really just copy and paste the same sequence by default, but even so it was successful thanks to everything else. For OPM, an anime that was supposedly recognized as being comedy and parody, the fact that it necessarily needs constant sakuga to attract attention tells a lot about the type of audience that ends up attracting. |

I read the web manga. Completely lost my patience with Murata retconning multiple chapters in a row redrawing some from the very start in a matter of weeks. His perfectionism is a freaking mess that makes following the releases outside the tankobons a nightmare. I decided to just wait for the arc to end and buy the full volumes at one point, except he expanded the arc a lot further and I think he didn't finish the arc still (not reading, so enlight me in case of the contrary, at least last time I checked later last year it wasn't complete still). |

| Not a huge OPM fan, but after watching this episode, it was pretty decent. People were predicting that it was going to be unwatchable. I mean the networking that Madhouse did with other studios and individuals is of course gonna be on a super high level, compared to just JC Staff. People need to realize that this season won't look as good as season 1 plus nothing can be worse than the airing version of Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja Nai |

| Well this was expected considering the drastic staff changes but yeah there were many noticeable differences with the animation. Also, season one set such unrealistic expectations that it doesn't surprise me to see people reacting as if this is the biggest animation abomination in history. There was just no way to possibly match season one unless everyone who worked on it came back. But I'm still gonna try my best to enjoy this. PS, Saitama looks like he got sunburned lol. |

| The color palette is really different compared to S1 (if i remember correctly of course). That's the first thing i don't really like. You know, this is doomed from the start to be slandered by the public. OPM is HUGE and went over to the mainstream public easily. That same public will probably look at this right now and just shake their heads in disappointment. I would say, it looks like your fairly usual seasonal anime production for action series but the standard SHOULD be different here. Storywise, i did NOT expect King to be like this LOL. Also it looks like they improved the animation compared to the trailer so it doesn't look too bad. They did the same for Date a Live when the preair happened. But i don't think, they'll get away with it in this case for episodes further down the line when i can believe the production issues that are going on. |
| I don't know why everyone is kicking down this season before it even starts. One episode is out and to be honest I enjoyed every second of it! I'm a big One Punch Man fan, loved the first season and will continue to love the second! |

| It was fine, and I understood why the trailer wasn't that good - it's bc they only used scenes of this episode (coincidentally it's one of those which they didn't fight a lot) I specially like the title song, but TTTTTT they joined the op w/the ending in that small box, it bothers me cuz for some reason it looked cheap. But I have hope S2 will get better as episodes passes by. |

The action scenes weren't great either not that I was expecting something comparable to the first season's but still not good with those camera movements. At least I enjoyed the appearances of Fubuki, Sonic and Garou. I also vastly prefer Hero as an OP but then again I don't think any OP could surpass since it totally fits OPM's theme. I will keep watching but really OPM deserves much better than this. |

| Not seeing Saitama One Punch the birdie..Booooooo! Otherwise, yes it's a step down from S1, but I've seen a lot worse. Fun episode, King is a pussy and looking forward to the rest of the series. Also the one thing we can say about OPM S2, is that it brought together a community of animation experts. Perhaps you can all get together and make OPM S3 and show them how it's done.....no? Yeah, somehow I didn't think so. |

I used to think like that, thinking it would be boring. But you'd be surprised how superior a manga can be, even if it is "lifeless" with no voices and "motion" It holds as much impact an anime does. Anime brings things to life that why anime is always more entertaining to me. And I did try to read one punch man manga, but I dropped it quickly. Not as enjoyable as watching the actual anime, The only manga I'm currently reading is attack on titan, but I still enjoyed the anime a lot more even though I knew what will happen |
| If this had come out before the madhouse adaptation people wouldn't even be criticizing this. It's not even below par when you look at all the animes that come out nowadays. Yes, it's definitely not one Madhouse level but it's still good. People rarely seem to have opinions of their own nowadays, most just listen to what the internet thinks is good and bad |

| I honestly don't mind the animation. Yes it's a gigantic downgrade and I really fucking wish JC Staff weren't on the job for this, but the animation is bearable to me. As for everything else it seems okay so far, but I don't think it'll be anywhere near as good as the first season. I hope the plot and comedy will stay at the same level as last season, but who knows anymore? |

| I mean yeah it doesn't look as good as the original but it really wasn't that bad. You can find plenty of worse looking action series. As long as it's passable I don't really care. Hopefully for some big important fights they will step it up. The comedy is as great as ever. The whole king thing felt pretty random, especially for a first episode. It was pretty hilarious anyway and I never would have expected it. It's nice the Saitama knows the truth. I wonder if they will form some weird partnership. Also I think this is the first time I've experienced this, but fuck you crunchy roll for not making this available in Canada. |

| To be honest, this doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. But at the same time, it doesn't look particularly great either. I'm really worried for the rest of the season though, because a even further downgrade seems likely. |

| Bet most of these crybabies never even read the webcomic. The art is fine. Not as good as season 1 but it's fine. Complaints about pacing are ridiculous this early. Maybe it'll be rushed but you sure as hell can't tell from a single episode. |
