My sister has multiple ear piercings, a bellybutton piercing, a nose piercing, and perhaps a tongue piercing (I do not remember). I think they look alright on certain people, including her, but I agree that they are ugly most of the time. I am not attracted to piercings. |

| The piercings have nothing wrong and it looks good on some people. There are people who pierce almost every possible body part just by culture. I do not think that only people who have problems at home do so, some do it for sexual reasons, others because they look good with them, others because of fashion, etc. I think there's nothing wrong with wearing piercings. |

| Piercings are way too hard to pull off in any location other than your ears, I've only met like two people irl who could do it. I'm open to people who do like having a lot of piercings, as long as it's not your whole face or something, just I ain't that attracted to a lot of piercings. I believe both guys and gals can pull of piercings in their ears though, depends mostly on your choice of earrings or whatever. |

| Depends. I love earrings, I have some of my own and it’d be cool to get a second ear piercing someday. I actually really like ear piercings on guys to be honest, they look really cool and I wish it was more common for them to do that. Nose piercings and lip piercings don’t bother me much either, I wouldn’t get them myself though. I’m just not fond of when people just totally infest their face with a million weird piercings and gages, but if they like the way they look then I’m happy for them nipple piercings are pretty strange to me though they sound painful |

| I used earrings until I was 14-15 years old, then I start thinking they weren't good on me. I think piercings are attractive, tongue and breast ones are the most. Even thinking about them being attractive/beautiful, I don't see myself getting piercings in any part of my body. |
| Piercings virtually NEVER make you look better and anytime I see one I SCREAM internally at the thought of it getting caught on something and getting ripped out. I'd probably go as far as to argue getting them is incredibly childish. Nobody gets a piercing because they think it'll make them look better; they get them because they think it'll make them unique or they see it as a way of rebelling. Piercing your ears is the only exception to piercings being awful and even that I'm not a fan of but at least in that case it's reasonable and not some childish cry for attention. That being said, if someone wants to get piercings then who gives a shit it's their choice and certainly nobody else's business. And I don't think it's impossible to make something like earrings, snake bites, or a belly button piercing look good. Everything else though eek stay way. P.S. This was all in reference to girls, guys on the other hand can go fuck off lol they don't get an excuse there are virtually no guys on the entire planet who can pull off piercings well that 100% is a cry for attention (no offense to any male friends of mine with piercings it's just oof). |

| Piercings in places other than the ears, unnatural hair color and openly visible tattoos are all wonderful indicators for social status and mental health. Granted, it doesn't work every time, and I've met some great people with unnatural hair color and nose piercings, but the correlation is still undeniably there. If you have any obvious body modifications, you probably have issues, and everyone who pays attention will know. I'm not sure why it works that way, but it's no coincidence that body modifications get more common as people get poorer. For me it's a good sign to stay away from someone, and one that I actively make use of. |

| I was never too fond of piercing on other parts of the body beside the ear. I have some friends that have tunnel piercing, piercing on their eyebrows, nose, lips, etc. I'm not one to judge if they find it to be unique, it's just not my style. I have no problem with getting my ear pierced. In fact, I'm trying to get 2 of my ear pierced probably soon. |

| I have ear piercings, it's kind of a custom or tradition to get them done when when the girl is around 4-5 years, so every girl I know has them. I don't have much interest in earrings neither am I interested in getting any extra piercings anywhere on my body - looks painful. As for other people doing it, if they like it well and good for them I'm not into it and the more the piercings the less approachable they look to me. Tongue piercings look pretty painful and overall just uncomfortable and for some reason when I see nose piercings I end up thinking of this |
| i have one pair of ear piercings, and i'd like to get another pair sometime before i'm 20. i think ear and nose piercings can be nice, not very fond of lip piercings or piercing anywhere else. nose piercings do not suit everyone, and they also kind of make you appear more mature that you may normally look. i don't plan on getting one anytime soon, but if i ever got my nose pierced, i would never wear a ring; that looks kind of tacky to me. i prefer tiny, stud jewelries. |

| I have ear piercings, but I don't really plan on getting any more. I don't like the idea of a part of my body being vulnerable if someone yanks and pulls, meh. Piercings look hot on certain people, and look bad on others. I'd rather get a small tattoo than get piercings. |

| It all depends on the person and overall how they present themselves. I think a lot of the people out there who get ridiculous amounts of piercings honestly shouldn't. But, when it comes to a more normal person with a few piercings in common places, (belly button, tongue, ear, vagina, nipples) I'm fine with it. Again, if someone covers themselves in piercings from head-to-toe, that's all them. Not going to say I like it, but, I won't stop them nor comment on their life style. You do you boo |

| Ear and nose piercings are pretty common around here, and the majority of women have ear piercings. It's more uncommon for males to have piercings here tho. Personally I love piercings, and have plans of getting them someday. |

| I used to have a few piercings (ears, lip) but grew out of that phase pretty quickly. Holes closed up a few years back. I don't really care if others have them, as long as they don't go overboard with them. |
