How many anime's from MAL TOP 100 have you finished? Are you watching anything from TOP 100 at this moment? What anime have you been putting off for years and why?
| I don't pay much attention to it. The recipe for success on it seems to be: 1. Be Gintama. 2. OK, if you can't be Gintama, at least be a second or subsequent season, or ridiculously long, so all the people who don't like it never watch it or piss off before they watch enough to have their ratings taken into account. Yes, LoGH, I'm talking about you. 3. And don't forget to be aimed at teenage boys. There are a few exceptions, but generally it's dominated by what the anime does rather than how good it is. |

| Gintama makes up a lot of the higher spots on MAL. I haven't watched it because I heard it's full of references and I want to be able to understand at least a lot of them. But, I think it's about time now. |

| I thought for certain I watched more of the top 100 shows, but disappointingly it only comes down to a mere 38 with 2-3 currently airing shows up there. But then again, I’m more into the mainstream shows than the top rated ones comparatively and this is what I get for being this way. |

| I am currently watching GTO, Gintama-Shirogane no Tamashi-hen, Yakusoku no Neverland, One Peice (definitely not gonna catch up this year lol) and Saiki Kuso no Psi-nan Completed 38 Plan to watch 11 On-hold Sora yori mo Tooi basho/ plan to finnish it this year Anime that I have been putting off for the longest time is Gurren Lagann, I have seen first episode years ago and I remember that it was alright but I wasn't interested in that time in sci-fi action so I put it on hold, also Steins;Gate sci-fi isn't my fav genre, it takes a lot to digest it so I've been putting it off. |

The list is: 2 - kimi no na wa 5 - hunter x hunter (2011) 17 - code geass: hangyaku no lelouch r2 18 - sen to chihiro kamikakushi 30 - mononoke hime 32 - code geass: hangyaku no lelouch 41 - howl no ugoku shiro And then there's the one I'm watching lately: 37 - yakusoku no neverland An anime of the top 100 I've been putting off for years now is the #3, Steins;gate. I don't know why, it just doesn't seem so appealing to me, despite the recommendations a friend made to me. |
Don't even try :) The slowness of One Piece is so painful it became a meme. It is hundreds of hours of your time wasted. Imagine watching tens of episodes in a row when literally nothing happens. If you ever feel interested in One Piece, go straight for manga. |

| 20/100 SHEESH. Honestly theres very few on there I don't plan to get to like maybe Gintama and the Fate series. Granted the Top 100 is crowded with seasonals right now aka Neverland and MP100, I love those series but doubt they'll make it after they're over. |

| The numbers: 20/100 (current top anime by the date I'm writing this), and that includes the ones I'm currently watching. The ones I've been putting off for years: Gintama - I'm currently struggling to complete the first season, so of course the few next seasons won't be on my list yet.. T^T Monogatari series - didn't find a strong reason to watch yet BNHA - waiting the anime to pile up, so I can completely binge it later XD Death Note - ART!!! I'm struggling through the art dammit.. yeah.. if I can get through the art someday, I'll definitely watch that... Fate/Zero - I don't remember why I stopped watching this franchise tbh.. but I do want to watch it :/ Shokugeki no Souma - it's on my PTW list for who knows how long since I asked for recommendation and this one is the most said.. but the focus on cooking isn't that appealing to me yet.. :/ |

| I don't even bother with top 100, but I'm surprised I've apparently seen 7 out of top 10. Only liked 2 of them. Don't see anything I want to watch there, maybe finish Fate/zero S2 if I'm going to get the new Extella game, but I don't really care for Zero. |
| I haven't completed many of the top 100; I put more things on my PTW than I actually have time for. Nonetheless I actually hope to complete all the top shows one day. Over the summer I prioritize anime on my PTW with higher scores, so that's where most of my completed were watched. I'm putting off watching a lot of series, especially long ones like One Piece. Others include Natsume Yuujinchou, Hunter x Hunter, and Gintama. They're just too big a time commitment for me to get into right now. | I've seen 95 and the remaining ones 2 are newly airing shows that I plan on binging when they finish (Neverland + Mob Psycho II) and one is a movie that is not subbed yet I think (Zoku Owarimonogatari). The last two are the Kenshin OVA (might eventually watch but I read the manga so many times and I can't stand Kenshin's voice in the anime version so I might also never watch it) and Mo Dao Zu Shi which I'll probably check out some time in the next few weeks. It seems like all the older ones I was never gonna watch (like Kuroshitsuji entries and Detectiv Conan Movies) rotated out of the top 100 since the last time I checked. From the top 200 I've seen 185 titles btw and plan to watch all the currently airing ones in there as well. Probably the Heaven's Feel Movies too. So I should eventually get to like 195 or more out of the top 200, excluding currently airing stuff. |

| I've watched 39, and am currently watching one in Mushishi Zoku Shou. Thinking of starting Uchuu Kyoudai as well. I don't often start watching something because "it's in top 100" anymore. Used to when I started watching, but quickly noticed that the rating aren't that meaningful/important to begin with. |
