| I’m open to discussion on just about any series, and I have extensively discussed Shigatsu to the point that I pretty much know nobody is going to be able to convince me that the show isn’t offensively, dangerously ignorant, if not outright malicious in nature. It literally showcases abuse as the supposed solution to abuse, and it treats denial as acceptance. It’s a horrible show and virtually everyone I know who has first-hand or second-hand knowledge of abuse and how it works (myself included) were disgusted by the series. The only exception tried to justify abuse on a societal level. The only anime I hold in higher contempt are Black Rock Shooter and some abominable shorts that have no business existing. | Violet Evergarden is the epitome of mediocrity, and Gamers is the most unfunny anime I have ever seen. I don't know how anybody could find the same joke funny for 8 episodes straight. Violet Evergarden has 2 or 3 pretty good episodes when the main focus wasn't around Violet because she was a garbage character. She reminds me of Ais from DanMachi who has 0 personality, but yet, everyone likes her for some reason. |

| Firstly, while I strongly disagree with your opinion on Death Note, I don't get why literally everyone is arguing with you about it. You're entitled to your own opinion and people need to stop, for fuck's sake! Secondly, here is a list of anime that are popular/well-liked that I just can't for the life of me understand what's good about them: Noragami - it's not that bad but it's so overrated. Nisekoi - garbage, cringey, and predictable. Darling in the FranXX - I can't put into words how boring this one is. Kuroshitsuji - I don't even know. The concept is interesting but the anime was not good. I hear the manga is better though. Shinsekai yori - the pacing is painfully slow and the characters are so shallow. I tried to watch it twice, and couldn't bring myself to continue both times. As for characters, not many come to mind right not but Erwin from Shingeki no Kyojin annoys the crap out of me. |

| Part 3 version of Joutarou Kujou, There's no way I can be convinced that soulless shell with 0 personality is a character at all, let alone a well-established one. It's like he's too cool to do anything humanlike and it bugged me to no end for 48 episodes. Todoroki and Shouko too for similar reasons but I won't talk about them specifically as a lot of the points overlap anyway. People with standards maybe? Not everyone's shallow enough to like something solely because it has hot women doing hot things. |
