Don't tell me you actually believe that bisexual people don't exist?

I'm getting sick of bi-erasure.

Being bisexual doesn't make someone "confused."

Bisexuality is very natural.

Just look at BTS members, they are hot as fuck!

just kidding

Why because they look clean and look after them selfs? so u might think they look “feminine”?

Woman, you have obvious confusions of from what you want to be fucked.

Stay quite.

Sexuality is fluid, like water. That's what that famous Bruce Lee quote is all about. 'Be Like Water' = accepting that fluidity. I'm not a fan of Bruce Lee but when Bebop referenced that quote I became convinced.
I probably regret this post by now.

That's not how it works, but have a serious reply anyway.
Obviously it didn't change my sexuality, but I think it helped me realize that I'm not staight. I used to think that I'm only into guys, because I thought it was natural, and never even thought about girls that way. I mean, I started questioning that even before I got into anime, but I think anime girls helped me come to terms with the fact that I find females attractive. Eventually I figured out I'm actually pansexual.
(I hope this explanation makes at least a little bit of sense)

Sexuality isn't something we have control over.
What we can control is whether we act upon them or not.
Yes, anime can make people realize they may be attracted to someone or something they never felt attraction towards before. But it's not like it can truly change whom you feel attracted to.

I use to be straight but after watching momokuri and jojo's bizzare adventure(2 fundamentaly different shows) I became gay.
however after watching konosuba and falling in love(in a platonic way) with megumin I became straight again.
so I guess I'm bi now.

so did this ever happen to you? did you change your sexual orientation because of animes, and if yes did you change it more than once?
No, this hasn't happened to me.

I suspect that your experience, if genuine, is rather unusual.

Someday you will find peace.
until that moment comes you have to bear with it with all your might.
it will be really hard at first and you will need to
cut down all the ties with the real world,
in order to ascend and raise your head.
dominate your way through the chain of life,
endure it and be sure - it
will help

this is great my dude. it is indeed a great goal

Yes, but before I can get to that, I started watching anime illegally in 2006 or 2007 with .hack//Sign. It was on YouTube. I got bored with it and stopped after a few episodes.

Before that, all I saw was Pokemon in 2000, one of my older sisters showed me Cardcaptor Sakura in 2001, and I saw Yu-Gi-Oh! in 2002 or 2003.

In 2008, I torrented anime and tried to play it, but the computer was shit, so I didn't watch anything.

In Christmas 2009, my brother-in-law gave us a computer he assembled.

So in 2010, I finally started watching things in the computer...

I saw Kanokon and Ayane-chan High Kick! That was it, actually. Still wasn't very interested in watching anime much.

Then in November 2011, when Zelda Skyward Sword (video game) was released, I looked at Rule 34 for the first time, and Link being a twink, I saw him and Dark Link, as well as him and this character (Ghirahim) from that new game.

I questioned my sexuality then. In May 2012, I read a fanfic of him being raped by Ghirahim and it turned me on.

In October 2012, I read another fanfic about that and befriended a fujoshi.

In July 2013, I saw the hentai Boku no Pico and liked it. (Pico to Chico and Pico x CoCo x Chico, at least.)

So I thought I was gay. Three years later, in May 2016, I watched Love Stage!! and almost watched Junjou Romantica. I had my mom order me the manga for Love Stage!!

I told my mom and dad that I was gay, but the very next month, June 2016, I saw Queen's Blade and realized the error of my ways.

I'm bisexual.

I regret to inform you that you are just straight.
Like many straight people around the world would agree, traps are cute and hentai has no limits.
But there is always a natural attraction towards a certain sex in real life vs the I wouldn't mind category. There is always a preference with 2 ugly people of different gender. There is always majority winner on average
No need to get confused or put label to it.

Damn, I know that anime can influence some people, but I did not know that it could influence so much haha. My sexual orientation is still the same, heterosexual, but I think the only thing that the anime did was give me some more tastes, for example, I started to love women with short hair and short stature. : p

There are literally billions of people who think that they're straight who are actually bisexual, and may never know unless they open their mind to new things. And then there are the billions who know they're not 100% straight, and simply keep silent about their bisexuality their whole lives.

Thankfully, this is changing, and more people are coming to terms with who they really are. Nobody should have to live a lie.

Be prepared for me oversharing stuff no-one but myself cares about

I've had negative experiences with a lot of girls irl so that impression is most likely why I've only ever had romantic feelings for guys before. Many females' disgusting attitudes really got to me in the past (as well as a lot of anime girls now) so I've crushed on guys rather than girls. Obviously I know not all girls are like this and nor is every single guy easy to form a connection with but this was just in my own experience. Currently, although I find guys easier to connect with conversationally, real life romance seems off-putting to me after I've had some awkward experience with it so I fantasise about fictional boys instead.

Emotionally it's almost the opposite. After watching anime I feel like I sentimentally connect more to girls because I find them easier to predict, relate to and empathise with. Male emotions are generally more unpredictable and dishonest with themselves than female ones (not saying this is always true or even bad but again, it's my experience) and that's usually very off-putting for me. Both irl and fictional girls win this overall (as well as anime boys who are honest/open with their emotions).

As for my sexual orientation... the thought of sex irl disgusts me because I think of all the disgusting bodily fluids and it completely puts me off. Anime hasn't really changed my perspective on sex so I don't think I'll ever be totally on board with it.

tl;dr No, anime didn't change my sexual orientation, but it did change my emotional response towards females and caused me to fantasise about romance with fictional boys.

Someone asked me on a forum if I was bisexual. I was like, I don't use terms like straight, gay, bisexual. I'm sexual.

Both men and women are built to have relations with both genders. The male g-spot is in the butt, the prostate. Probably in nature you will have an affinity to female relations, but nature gave us the ability to love our own gender.

This probably has to do with adaptation to environment. For instance if you were locked up with a crew for years and could only deal with dudes, or only females etc. A great majority of us have a sexual instinct, it must be fed one way or another.

Sexual development is by nature open and mysterious, based on genetics, DNA etc. Environmental adaptation is a key element.

Of course, eventually because of the randomness of combination of DNA through sex and development, pregnancy to birth, some will be born men with female attributes and women with male attributes, it's only natural.

I feel like labels create stigma about sexuality that stem from the pilgrim days. It comes from puritanism, Christianity's extremely odd sexual conservatism. Basically it was dudes in caves, castles and dark rooms introducing us to their rules about sexual dogma while being locked up and isolated from the rest of the world.

That's why you have to take the new testament outside of the gospels and Peter with a grain of salt. You should really be taking a bigger cue from Darwin, who we have the miracle of living as humans knowing of his research and findings.

It's weird how people deny the mysteries of procreation and all the miracles that occur through genetic recombination. Etc.
