So Shu wasnt such a wimp when he was younger it was Gai that couldnt remember his name so Now we just have to find out where he got Inori from if she was suppose to be nothing more then a vessel but like everyone who has already stated there is still 10 episodes left still good in my eyes I dont know what i would give this anime yet though so I will just finish it before i rate this anime but that is how i do it now anyway i used to give ratings from episode 6 on n then just modify it as my opinion on the anime changes but it is just easier to wait till i am done.

ummm, incest

and it just gets more disturbing from there
also:Plot hole. Why exactly does Gui not have to pass out when his void is drawn out (unlike everyone else). Also, why did Shu have to go through Gui? The prison was spherical, and its not like he's a big dude. As martyrdom deaths go this one was a major let down. I knew he was going to go eventually, but I had hoped it would be more satisfying. I'm glad we finally got all those cryptic visions cleared up, they were driving me mad.

Okay, so I just watched the episode and I'm crying so much because Gai, nooooo!
and also, shouldnt Gai pass out or something after his Void was drawn out? just like everyone else did? or are they going to do the "he was stronger than them" thing?
and this episode felt like an ending but it's really only half of the whole anime?
im curious and also kinda scared what will happen next (mostly, because i read one spoiler that i didnt really like...)

Man, finishing this anime really tests my patiantce
on one hand, it's well done animation
on the other hand, it's just awful with so many plot holes

imho, the show started to become really good after ep 12. But I have to admit that I never liked Gai at all, so I wouldn't know if you would feel the same about that.
You haven't seen the last of him, yet. Unfortunately.

Creepy as fuck episode, apart from Gais death, with lots of surprising moments. That scene with the rigged gun wasn't too bad at all certainly unexpected to see a young girl having a gun but also knowing how to rig it...

Anyway can't see the anime getting better at all but i'm willing to give it a go.

The whole Guilty Crown is so far a bit very hazy for me.. I liked the animation, the story, the characters were okay, yeah, the protagonist is again, a cowardly person who is actually used to be fearless, but I'm full of question from the very first episode which bugs me a lot. This episode, yeah I wonder why every second person wrote this; gives me more questions regarding the whole story, but hopefully its going to turn out eventually, and I do look forward when Shu becomes badass.

The one thing that bothered me is how Gai was able to stay conscious and use his own Void. Otherwise this was an exciting episode with lots of important revelations. Shu has been aiming to be strong like Gai all of this time when ironically it was Gai who was mirroring the Shu he admired. Mana sure was creepy, so basically Lost Christmas happened because a brocon was rejected.

More than halfway through, gotta wonder if all of that ravenous hatred was warranted.

Woah this was intense... Well gai finally got his girl I think. Mana was the only one for him...
Man the feels in this episode. It was pretty shocking how gai and shu met a long time ago. And I though that mana was inori from the picture.

Kek.

Gai gets slashed, and is bleeding from the mouth last episode? He heals in a grand total of three seconds.

Characters are supposed to be unconscious when taking voids? Fuck that, let Gai stay awake, and have the most convenient void ever.

However, the episode was ok, and actually would make a decent season finale. Lord knows what they are going to do with these last 10 episodes.

Who created Inori?
Where did the stone come from, and why does it have those power?
What is the guy who took Inori's motive?
Where is the possible third character who has a guilty crown?

Dam Gai was influenced by Shu so much. He went from a not so confidence individual to a badass who can kick ppl's butts just because he believed he could be Shu. RIPPP. Im guessing Gai was in love with Shuu's sister so Im gonna think positively that he ended up with Mana again in the end. I wonder how everyone will react to Gai's death.

Eh so Gai is as old as Shuu. That was... okay.

Incest... wow. I had my suspicions but for real.

So other people died and Gai n Shuu were right next to Mana n somehow survived? Her feelings for them, I wonder.

he just decided to get stronger after coming out of that rock... Okay.

Okay is this show going to have Shu kill everyone.
RIP Gai. I didn't dislike you. (unless you revive somehow)

=_= Incest? Seriously ya'll?

Well I'm glad some of you guys pointed Gai's inability to pass out after getting the Void out of his body. I guess it had to do with the power of love.

So Gai was influenced by Shu because Shu could jump over a bridge...? And that's how Gai became OP like he was?

So Shu is in love with his sister that's in another body?

Is no one bothered by the weird ass wedding...Like someone one day just happened to think or know that putting a veil and ring on someone would trigger something wut

Was Shu aware of the fact he had a sister? How come his memories come back now all these years? I mean...there was a picture of her at home...

I'm pretty sure there was enough space to hit Mana from the sides. And then Shu could have healed Gai with Hare's bandages. I wonder if her bandages would be enough to cure the disease..I mean it could fix a bridge after all.

So many questions.

A really emotional episode. I really cried when Shuu was holding Inori and both of them where crying.

So Gai was already a Childhood friend of Shuu mh?

THANK GOD HE IS DEAD I REALLY HATED HIM!

Soooo isnt Inori a real person? Is she still just a "Placeholder" for Mana?

Is it now weird that Shuu loves Inori because she maybe has the spirit of his sister?

Awesome Episode but there are more and more Questions coming up

So Inori excuse me ... Mana, who was the start of the virus, is Shu's sister and wanted Shu to marry her.
We got the answer that Haruka isn't actually Shu's biological mother.

This could've very well been the final episode so I'm not sure what we're going to get for the final 10 episodes.

Another great episode.

When Shu "let go" of Gai's hand and let him fall - a beautiful moment.

I wonder in which direction the show will go now, things were rounded up pretty nicely in this one.

This episode was kind of bizarre and I feel like it jumped the shark a little bit.

Magic sky tower that you magically levitate into and out of. What the hell was with that sibling incest love? Or that old guy trying to pedophile-marry Inori-Mana? I mean, if you can just control them with the rock in the first place... What about all that was necessary in order to infect everybody, destroy the world and then control the "new" version of mankind?

I don't understand why "singing" matters at all. I don't understand how Gai was still conscious after having his void pulled out by Shu. If Inori is just Mana's soul or whatever in a manufactured body, it would be pretty weird if Inori and Shu get together...

So Shu's "mom" is his "new mom"? Do we still not have clarification on Kenji Kido's "murders"? Don't understand what purpose that "Death whatever" little blonde kid serves.

I'm really enjoying this show, but I didn't enjoy this episode. Even if most of those questions are eventually answered, this episode will remain an odd one (too "complex"? throwing too much junk at the wall and seeing what "ideas" stuck? they tried too hard for a "big reveal").

Well, this is officially the worst show I’ve ever seen; I don’t even want to know how we’re getting another cour out of this lmao

I don’t even know where to start with this making no sense. Glad Gai died for literally no reason, glad we can suddenly break the flimsy rules we’ve set on voids because why the hell not, and glad we can add creepy incest nonsense into this for also literally no good reason. That’s just the tip of the iceberg of how little this ‘plot’ works, but I’ve already put more thought into it than they have.

I feel bad for any of the music or animation/art staff that got attached to this anime, because unlike the writing and direction, they actually knew what they were doing and deserved to make something functional.

This has been one of the best episodes. Why? Because Gai died.

I'm sorry to all Gai fans, and especially fans of Guilty Crown, but this anime just keeps going downhill. With the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if a stupid Resurrection scene occurs just to bring him back to life.

I can see it now.

Gai is revived.

Yes, yes, ANYTHING is possible in this show. I'm serious. I'm sorry if I'm ranting right now, but this has been a disappointment up until now. Not only that, but they introduce Mana just to get on the nerves of some people. I'm serious. They're trying TOO HARD. TOOOOO HAAAARD.

I SWEAR I'M REALLY RANTING ON THIS EPISODE RIGHT NOW. Apologize for rabid fans of this series :I

they're going to have to try really hard to make this better now...
Dropped the rating to 5/10 now.

Current Reaction:

They still have 10 episodes left! WHO KNOWS, maybe they'll deliver something mind blowing that'll make me end this series happily. Maybe I'll even learn to LOVE it. GUILTY CROWN, CHALLENGE ME. BECOME BETTER. NOW.

Since Pokemon the First Movie had the "power of tears" can revive Ash Ketchum. Guilty Crown tried the same formula with revival.

This episode was pretty dramatic and twisted.

A pretty good episode actually, outside the fact his sister wanted to marry and be Adam and Eve of a new world with him, as in, copulating together.

Ep4 was still the best so far, but I have to say Gai did enough for me to at least not hate and find his death emotional enough.

Question being, where will things move to now?
