| So I'm really curious, thinking back how far this personal interest and hobby of mine will long last. I actually love both the anime and manga wholeheartedly. When we growing up, will it just turn out as a good old time? as for me, there is even a times, when i am simply afraid of death just because i can't watch anime or manga anymore. So how do you guys think it will be for your case? Will it be just another memories when you've hit a certain age? Or will it fading over time? |

| @Kuromii I truly wish I can be like that. Spending my precious time with something i love @Adonc Don't worry pal. i actually feels the same! @Aidoru-Ojisan don't you feels a little bit sad when it keep fading? @Toro_Picana true, i also think that i will probably keep watching this. Maybe in future we lose a bit of interest but i don't think i will leave it permanently @TheHeckle that is possible too, but i think it is probably a long time before it truly die (Since the anime & manga is one of japan global appeal) , as for the hidden gems, I think it won't run out. It just underrated. And lose interest, that is just how it is with life i suppose. |

| I don't think I will stop watching anime or reading manga anytime soon. Maybe when i get older and have responsibilities but I don't really see my interest deteriorating anytime soon. Worst case scenario for me, I'll probably watch less anime but still read manga. Thats just me though. |

| As long as anime doesn't turn into utter irredeemable shit like Isekai Wa Smartphone, and we can get even 1 Made in Abyss every year, I'm satisfied enough. @Aidoru-Ojisan I am very intrigued. According to your anime history, you seem to be frequently watching anime that are currently airing. If you feel as though your love of anime is fading, why not just watch old anime? Not necessarily old 90s stuff, but early 2000s. |

| @Aidoru-Ojisan I see, that's also how one life should be, i think it is a good thing for you to spends time with something we hold dear @gen12Weeb I couldn't agree more! Im always feeling like that, it just probably less time to watch anime or read manga, but not truly permanent :D @NihilisticLoner While i also agree with that, i actually do enjoy some of moments in isekai wa smartphone, though it is hardly that many lol, and no worries, as far as i can see, I actually do sees some good series in almost seasons |

The quration is: will I run out of anime I'd like to watch or the industry will keep prodicing shows for me. But for an estimate : I have like a decade worth of staff to watch . |

Hmm you have a good eye, one of the reasons why my interest towards this medium started fading was due to me burning out on boring ass seasonals and my interest shifting towards other things I was interested in, so I decided to dedicate my time to em. Now I just watch random Anime with others or seasonal shows that I know won't be boring (well it's because luckily I have others I can count on to make sure they aren't boring) anyways, I'm OK with where I am rn, however I do plan on reading more Manga since I have always found it more less-time consuming and interesting thus the reason why I took the Manga Reading Challenge this year. |

| @Lanor-sama I see, but i can pretty much say, its hardly run out, as we are talking, the series just keep getting serialization, adaption and such. Not to mention, the current anime that has been created is already a numbers that is certainly hard to keep watching. Mine for example is always searching and seeking a series that i can watch, but hardly i don't feel it decreasing at all. ofc it being exception of hundreds episode series such One Piece, Naruto and etc etc @Aguuus I agree! ignore it might be the best way to enjoy it while we truly can xD @Zephaas I am gamer myself, nintendo, cs, dota, and many more but im more into anime i guess, it just kinda strike me for good lol. @Gator as long as it is enjoyable, we probably won't leave it out. Beside it more entertaining than tvs. I already don't watch tv nowadays lol @MakiBaki That's extremely right! Salute! |

| The love I have for my current favorites: My lists hasn't changed much over the eight years and change that I've been here. The love I have for anime in general: Flamboyant anime fans ruined that many years ago, and even what I did watch anime, it was only one or two shows a year. |

| I'll often think that it's fading, if I watch 3 or 4 shows in a row that I can see are good, but I just kinda feel nothing for them. Then I find something I'm genuinely, wholeheartedly into and my interest in the whole medium is fresh once again. The upside is, I can remember these particular shows really well, the downside - I don't know how long I can keep searching for them. We'll see, it's good as long as I don't consider the time spent watching to be wasted, and frankly, I still think of myself as a total newbie when it comes to the whole otaku thing. |

| I've enjoyed anime since I first watched it on tv as a child(although I didn't know what it was and it was all dubbed). At this point I don't think I'll stop watching it. The only situation where I could see myself stopping would be if I had watched everything that was good and they stopped creating anything new. |

End said: as for me, there is even a times, when i am simply afraid of death just because i can't watch anime or manga anymore. I relate to that to a really, really high level. I'm also afraid of growing older for the same reason. I also want to believe I will never get bored of it, but, honestly, can I see myself at 50 saying stuff like "yeah, I went to a convention the other day, cosplayed as XXX and I spent a thousand euros on anime merch"? Or, if I ever have a husband and a child, saying every evening: "okay, now, let me go to my private room so I can watch anime and read manga alone, in peace"? I'm probably over-thinking it a bit. I really hope, though, that I'll never get bored of it (or that nothing will ever force me out of it) |
