I mean, it had multiple arcs but this one's probably going to be a much longer arc so *shrugs* |

| Just moseyin’ on over to add my voice to the cheers of hype. If I had to guess, this will be another special/ova, with 6 episodes so they can get 3 blu rays out of it, airing in the summer or fall. I’m excited, seeing as this is the last monogatari I really care to see animated. |

| I bet Spring 2018... that cherry blossom tree in the visual, whether literal or metaphorical would symbolize new beginnings for the franchise. This may be the end of the final season... but there's still the monster season to adapt, and apparently, it goes into college territory! |

Despite "indulging in your fetishes" being an established theme of Monogatari, one that NisiOisiN has extensively taken advantage of to write the series since the first chapter in the light novel, how are they milking it? Owari S2 wasn't the best ending for the series because there are still plot points that were foreshadowed both for the supporting characters and the overarching plot. Besides, just because they graduated last season, doesn't mean the story ends. This series has proven time and again that you can endlessly expand on minute subjects to create a compelling narrative, even when it seems impossible to do so. I hate to say this, but you should be grateful that Monogatari is the type of series that can get sequel upon sequel without feeling tired or worn out, unlike other anime for which are actually milked even though they have reached a solid conclusion. I heard Psycho-Pass experienced that. |
