It's a shame, especially since it was a tv block for kids. Something similar happened in Brazilian television (except it wasn't replaced with a sports block), and it still saddens people. Do you people in the U.S. have those programs where one or more host does random stuff (dunno how to explain) and they air cartoons? It was what was replaced. Yea,I didn't see your post. I read the first page and was like 'yea I'm not reading 4 pages of this' :p. Im not sure, but the host/cartoon thing sounds similar to toonami that used to be on cartoon network some time ago. I think that got consolidated with adult swim. Usually you won't see a whole block get canceled. Its pretty expensive because they already bought the broadcasting rights for all the previous shows and now they have to secure the rights for the new shows to boot <,< |

| Pretty enjoyable series, not like your typical shounen when it comes to a lot of things so just that felt refreshing, onto the manga for now. Also the last "fun fact" segment was actually kinda sad with this ending and all but keep hope out for some more. |

| One of the things going for the show was that it didn't take a slow pace that longer running shows generally take. It had a great pace up until episode 50 and that also led to my issue during the Xeno/Lillith arc...it started to slow wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy down. I honestly hated these last 23ish episodes. We went from rank wars to filler arc, back to rank wars and quickly on to preparing for the next invasion to end. Just felt like the writing was getting sloppy. It was enjoyable for the most part, but, I kinda have to question how long it would have kept up my interest if it didn't take a random hiatus continuing the way it was going. |

| When it was really getting interesting, the Ranks Wars with the simultaneous invasion, it ended...for now. TT_TT 7/10 Hope to see it resuming back soon! |

It was on hiatus to give time for the manga to release. I also believe that the author took a break too. Probably from health issues. |

Yes, the anime was just picked up again, but until now there had been no news of it continuing, so it was effectively over. Putting that aside, the mangaka has been out of hiatus since late 2018 and I've read up to the most current chapter. |
| I'm actually surprised by how much I enjoyed World Trigger. I didn't expect to like it this much. Feels so different compared to your usual Shounen battle anime. Looking forward to season 2! :) |
| Kind of a bummer of a point to end at but I'm glad a sequel is coming in due time. I'm aware of the reasoning behind the stoppage and thus I don't mind too much. Besides, the whole reason is because of the upcoming season season so I can't really point this out in the first place. My initial impressions were definitely poor-average but the concept and the characters grew on me with time. Barring that needlessly long (imo) filler arc, it's been a trend upwards and I'm looking to forward to seeing the training to ripe some results. Here's to hoping Toei Animation will do a better job this time around, too. Generous 7/10 from me. Edit: Some cool moments this episodes I'd like to highlight on: Hyuse acknowledging Youtarou as "Senpai", Kuga's swift decline to Kako-san's invitation & Kitora chipping in with some gold advice (and the usual Shiori-san moments too, of course). |

| So we need S2 for the next class match (lol) I really wanted to see that raid against the Neighbor I hope that S2 will not be full of class matches... the real plot didn't even start, it's not bad just EXTREMELY slow, 73 episodes for an introduction, I hope that S2 will be better even though this one was still fine overall but especially thanks to the horned Neighbor raid which was sure interesting and enjoyable |

| Of course they gotta attack during the tournament xD But damn, they really had to end it here. What a cliffhanger, especially since it has gotten so exciting. Love this series overall, especially the cast and the power-system are great. 8,5/10 |

| I had this series on hold for a while since I am not a fan of shonen anime but the S2 trailer seemed kind of good so I decided to watch this. And honestly it was better than I expected. But the animation is somewhat mediocre. The story is decent and the concept of trion is cool. There are a lot of interesting characters as well that make show entertaining. However, that 15-episode long filler arc in the middle of rank wars was a mistake. IMO it truly brought the show's standard down and made it boring. And 15 episode filler is too much when the story sucks and you have to tolerate Obnoxious-sama and Bimbo-chan. Thankfully I skipped much of it without wasting my time. Another issue I have is with the main characters. There isn't much development except for maybe Osamu who now seems like the main focus of the show. But I don't know why the author wasted 73 episodes just make Osamu understand his own strength. I also had a lot of expectations from Yuma initially but after Replica got taken away he is turning out to be Osamu's ace sidekick who loyally follows his every order. He doesn't even contribute much apart from fighting and reassuring Osamu. Makes me wonder if he even cares about his own body dying. Chika's character on the other hand is pretty irrelevant to the plot if not for her trion supply. And to make matters worse Bakako is kind of useless in combat since she can't shoot people in their trion bodies despite knowing they don't get harmed. But she wants to go to an away mission to rescue her friend and brother. It's kind of unfair that Osamu doesn't get the same carefree treatment from the author unlike Chika. Hopefully the author fixes up some of these issues in S2 because he is wasting too much time by dragging things out. |

| Amazing way to finish this, nice job to Toei, loved the opening at the end, even if I've seen it so many times, I just can't get enough of it, especially when the opening is great, though I would have preferred the first opening over this for nostalgia, plus I like the first opening more, lol and it also sounds like something that would fit well at a finale. I really love how the cliffhanger, showing both the important rank war and the invasion going on at the same time and Hyuse leaving the house which the director was observing. All those moments made this a great last episode. This was, for sure, a much different long shounen. Sure, it does have your powerful senpai and the bland MC but there are so many different things that I haven't really experienced before and that made this way more enjoyable. The start of it was very slow, but that was a problem from Toei rather than the source, however, and I was sure it will happen, it picked itself up later on. Sadly, the filler arc happened, which I wasn't a fan of at all and it also happened at the worst time, but at least we got 10 great last episodes. I'm honestly happy they gave it 73 episodes. |

| 5/5. While I have to give a 6/10 for the series (was doing 5/10, but too low), I really felt like how I feel when watch One Piece to a degree. Just like how I rate One Piece 8/10 though it has 10/10 material, I have to rate this 6/10 even though it contains 8/10 material (with lots of 4/10s that made me want to drop so bad). Hyuse called the #1 Border Agent Yotaro-sama "senpai", he truly was attached and grateful to Tomakono, but has his own objectives. Kitora x Osamu BELIEVE IT. They are actually the same (with Kitora of course being better, but meaner). Very low Trion (so you CAN increase trion ability) and more of a support. Kitora still gets frustrated as she is outdone by other A-Ranks who have grand trion ability just like Osamu gets frustrated he can't score points et cetera. Both Osamu and Chika now will be hard focusing on utility/support funneling Yuma it feels like. It's not the best case, but should allow them to at least make it to bottom of A-Rank. KKKKKKKKKKKK-Klub I am looking forward to giving the later season a 8/10 or better, I have very high expectations. |
