| The different monsters all beared a resemblance to penises. The way Miura made use of phallic symbolism in the creature design reminded me a lot of Alien. We are so close, the timing of the hiatus is really frustrating |

| The absolute worst time to go on hiatus lol Condsiering the next chapter might actually be the last fragment/eclipse. Readers have been saying Casca isn't going to be healed but that theory doesn't make sense in my opinion. Yes she might not be the same as once before, but I definitely don't think half of berserk's timeline would be spent on nothing like her staying in her current state. |

More than any other chapter in this dream sequence, this one was one of the most important ones. We finally are getting to the core of her problem and as displayed by this episode, her fear of men. which was caused due to the rape in the eclipse is obviously enough one of the main reasons. If you would take this episode out, it would not only seem like a cakewalk in the park for Farnese and Shierke, we also would be skipping one of the most important parts of her mental mind which is essential in bringing her back. If the series wouldn't have gone into hiatus you would have reacted differently. Before criticizing something, think first about the content and what it means in the big picture. |

True. When they entered Cascas mind I thought it would take several more chapters before they got to the final piece of her memories. But it went pretty quickly after all. Casca might just be healed before the end of the year, that's good enough for me. Berserk will hit a major milestone in it's story when that happens. Miura might just speed up after that, one could hope. |

Also, what happens now will be a true turning point for the entire series. Miura has been writing for things to come to this point for a decade by now. What will happen to Casca and how will if affect Guts and his epic quest? Miura needs to get this right and for that maybe he needs a break and a bit of time t really plan things out. |

But on serious note Casca'a mind is completly wrecked right now, wonder what will happen after they collect last piece. What I was thinking about was Skull Knight saying that outcome of this can be something different that Guts wanted it to be. And of course this can be interpreted differently, but that's just my wild thought. And yeah I get part about not being selfish, but still her life weren't good from start. And after finally finding her place, she get eclipse. That's puts things in another perspective. It's just impossible to life through that kind of event and not being fucked up. And maybe it come out as I wanted to, but what I meant was that she just wanted to forget. After all they are in her mind, and this forest at the end just seems like some kind of protection of memory she just didn't wanted to face again. Also this is mind of potato Casca, not sane Casca. Does she care at that point of being mindless person? |

Monster appears, Guts rages with the ever OP berserker armor and oneshots a bunch of trash monsters while shitting over their bosses, then Schierke snaps him out of it. Done, next. This chapter actually managed to accomplish a bit more than usual though. |

| I will bet my ass that after this hiatus we will get few Rickert/Bakiraka and Grifith chapters and then another hiatus. So we will never learn what will happen to Casca. Not in this decade for sure. |
