| I love the OP, but actually burst out in happy tears when I heard the ED. I got into SPYAIR in a completely unrelated way, through this particular song as well. and when I found out that they had done a bunch of anime theme songs, I was super happy. I always wanted to watch Gintama for that reason, but got into watching Gintama via cuts of episodes that I'd seen before. and I almost forgot about this ED song! I'M SO HAPPY! such a strong start to this adaption, though, incredibly funny and I love the way everything looks now! |
| O M G What did I just watch? It felt like I was Shinpachi xD Everyone changed so much it's crazy. When I saw Gin-san in the first moment I knew what happened haha. I died irl from laughing and couldn't stop. Kagura was sooo fuckin hot *.* Super funny when she and Gin-san went on "Nappa" head xD Otae married Kondo and they have a baby, what da hell? O.o Also Kuybei was super cuuuuute (I think I would have react the same way Shinpachi did).....until she exposed "thing" >.< And then Kazura as female finsihed it off, so weird and so funny at the same time lol. The OP and ED were super amazing and to watch Gintama in 16:9 was soooooo good. It's such a great difference unbelieveable. Great start, this is how animes should come back! PS: Hopefully in the next episode/s we will see what happened to all the other characters like Tsukuyo etc. :P |

| It's been less than a month since I first started this season, and I'm already rewatching this episode. I just had to watch some of Gintama. It's still as funny as the first time XD I love grown up Kagura. Kyubei and Katsura though XD Zura is just such an idiot XD I love him! And I realized I don't ship KondoTae anymore XD |

| Behold you mere mortal, only few would ever make it this far and for those who have, congratulations. You're about to witness the greatest arc ever bestowed upon us, the TIMESKIP ARC!!! And that is what teen Kagura would look like, both beauty and badass at the same time, the very definition of femme fatale especially since she's from Yato. Kondo have done well to court Otae, always thought the two belong together especially since Otae is just playing hard to get. His effort finally paid off, and actually her goal from the start is to revive her father's dojo right? Good job Kondo, you earned my respect there. I'd totally bang Kyubei since she still got that double assets, plus she's hot as fuck. She literally turned into futanari lol, and I don't mind that. Not at all. Too bad there's only one good doujin of her and too many yaoi sadly. The female fans on Japan are real, probably explains why Okita Sougo and Takasugi Shinsuke got into the top 5 ranking. Edit: also love how trollish that opening is, definitely on my top 5 Gintama opening. |

| I love how they pointed out the shift to 16:9; the improvement really shows! Strong opening episode all around. Loved seeing the characters return in crazy ways, but I can't wait to see them back in their original forms as well. The One Piece reference really got me. |
| So many things! I didn't think it was weird seeing those two logos at the sides but after the 16:9 revelation it made sense. Man, Kagura is a hottie. Gin lying defeated as Yamcha but the best part was the dog delivering Sadaharu! I needed to laugh that much. Kyubei still cute... Poor Shinpachi. 10/10. |

| Damn, what a way to start the show! OP and ED are awesome. Lmao at the timeskip and all the changes. Gintoki's new look and Kagura is sooo hot now, love her. I almost died laughing at the Sadaharu part. Poor Shinpachi, my reaction was the same after seeing Otae and Kondo married and having a baby, lol wtf?! Now I kinda don't ship them anymore. "Are you shitting me?!!" Hahaha best line. And that Kyubei trap and Zurako ftw. |
