Well I agree, it's only a good thing that he's trying to find out more before dying, but somehow I got the idea from your text that he should run away from the mansion, and that would be only stupid. Somehow I don't like how selfish he can be. It's like he's forcing hes feelings sometimes (like breaking his promise to Emilia, but asking her to understand and trust him). But I think Subaru is otherwise a good character and I can't wait the day he'll find some strenght to help everyone in some way - not just by dying and having a do-over. |

| The best compliment I can give this episode, and the next, is that - the end of ep14 in particular - reminded me of the eclipse in Berserk/end of the first Berserk anime. Did not expect THAT from this show. Wow. Series alternates between highs and lulls, and these set of episodes are the highest of a very fucked up but rewarding high. Subaru continued learning the reality of his situation and the consequences of his actions in the harshest of ways. Can't ask for much more than that. Hopefully he learns his lesson. Sharpish. Rem is the best girl, without a doubt, also: character development, personality, the lot. But just like nice guys never win, Rem has no chance. Emilia has that hard-to-get, mysterious elf allure, 'innit. Or sumat. OH WELL. |

| Really hate the time travel gimmick to this show. It just means that when something edgy happens, like the end of this episode, my immediate thought isn't "Oh man, what an interesting development, I wonder where this show is going.", it's "Gee, wonder how long it's going to take before this is undone." Still an alright show but it's not even the best time travel show this year. |

| Goddammit Subaru!!! He's pissing me off really badly and made this show almost unbearable to watch. Thank goodness I continued because hey, the messed up world is back. And is that a sword on Rem's body? It looks like Reinhard's sword but then again do all swords have that design? The burning of the corpse reminded me of the burning of the witches (witch-hunt)... And those black, shadowy figures, are they related to the witch/witches? Did they give a bow to Subaru or was that just their disappearing pose?? I'm sick of Subaru's "im the only one who can do this" mentality and I thought probably this time he'd learn his lesson that some things are beyond his capability, but at the direction of where this is going, he'd end up being the "hero" again and i fear that that mentality of his would even be deeper etched within him Edit: DONT LET THIS EPISODE STOP YOU FROM WATCHING THE NEXT ONE (sorry for the caps!) |

| I liked the old OP and ED more tbh but it's not like they're using them much anyway ^^ The only saving grace this episode was Rem. That lap pillow and the bed scene were too good! Don't know what's happening to Subaru these last few episodes but he really needs to fucking chill. He's way too full of himself for how weak he actually is. Everyone keeps telling him the same thing and want to help him but it feels like his brain finally got damaged or something after all those deaths since he has only Emilia in there. Witch cult so creepy, not surprising they bow to him after all the witch talk. That village scene was brutal damn and Rem too...hopefully that will finally wake Subaru up, time to suicide I guess! |

What he loses are the memories of other people. If anything good (or bad) happens, and he dies, he will be the only one to remember it. Any progress he will make in relationship with other people (especially his romance with Emilia) will be lost. Other people will not understand why he is so friendly/hostile since it's only the first (second) time they meet (from the other peoples perspective). Currently the story is not focusing on that aspect much, but I'm certain it will do so in the future. |

| Subaru still annoying as fuck, leaving his healing treatment that Emilia asked so hard. but this time his choice was right, if he stayed it would be too late to save them when he already reach another save point. now he reveal the truth about what happened, it's time to undo them. I wonder why he didn't get attacked by that Black KKK? is it maybe because he has that "witch scent" ? |

| First of all, good OP. I liked the final scene with the hands and Emilia. But then, Subaru and Rem, I don't know why but I found them so creepy in this episode haha they give me all the bad vibes. But than end though, too much for my heart TT__TT not the village and the kids, pls. |
| holy fuck, Subaru is so far up his ass that is not even funny anymore. I kinda like it thought, it does make him a more interesting character. Rem's character design is so good. Character wise, she isn't anything special but man does she look good. Reinhard so mature and reasonable, why are you not the mc? I really hope he doesn't become a villain later one but this anime is getting pretty dark..... |
