| Really liked the episode and i didnt expect that after my first impression. I maybe have a little problem with how you could always tell how the characters would behave in all the situations just from watching a bunch of other anime. I knew the male mc will have to overcome his tragic past at one point and it was right in the first episode. It really isnt a big deal but i felt like i have watched this episode a few times already. maybe its just me. 4/5 will keep watching. |

| 4 Cour for this? Damn Pierrot... Anyway for a 1st episode, this was quite good. Overall found it nice, slow pacing is expected considering it more or less just introduced the characters in this episode. Looking forward to whatever is to come! |

| As far as first episodes go, it was decent. Magano was beautifully designed, but the sudden intro cards for characters and attacks would take some getting used to. The comedy was okay, it wasn't really that funny but it kept the show lighthearted. I'll give it a 7/10. |
| Was really hyped for this! Gotta say this first episode wasn't too bad. Yes, they changed the beginning part a bit, but it seems more streamlined in the anime which isn't too bad. |

| Well that "early" confession scene is... Lucky, I guess? To get a free boobs in the face but exclude getting trip over black cat afterwards. :v Somehow, all that Kagare "voice" sounds like... Ahh, forget it. |

| From what i see, Benio is consider "strong" only in a normal onmyouji society, basically a higher rank than those newbie who work in a team. There will always be those higher or in god-tier rank lol. |

| This anime has superb potential, I hope it uses it right. So far the first episode was great action-wise, and we immediatly were plunged into the MC's tragic background. This show started off with a big bang, lets hope they keep it up. |

| The art isn't bad, and the fights seem pretty good, especially with how they present the names and talismans, but aside from that, and like the manga, it seems pretty cookie cutter. Tad bit different from the first chapter, and the characters seem just as cliche, but all that said this will probably be one of the better shounen this season. |

| I'm not convinced yet. Seemingly OP main character, cute female sidekick, probably love interest (don't know the source material). Pretty generic sword fighting fantasy shounen so far. I hope from the better half. |

| Ummm, good I guess. Mixed feelings on the first one. A good episode to set the MCs, their goals and their setbacks. The action parts were great, the visuals were pleasing but somewhat repetitive. Exorcism has me hooked up, the otherworld could be explored. Let's see how much it develops! |

| Pretty decent start. Loved Benio's reactions xD Rokuro seems to be strong from the start if not OP The fight was a bit cliched but it was still nice to see. The show reminds me a lot of the Devil May Cry franchise, This Gate they open to fight the Kegare is very reminiscent to Limbo. Heck there's even a character called Dante XD Anyway I'm interested in this, Let's see how it goes. |

| A lot better than I was expecting, especially considering it's studio Pierrot. I've read the beginning parts of the manga and I thought that this actually surpassed it. I was getting annoyed on how many times we saw the flashbacks but I in retrospect the third time they were used it was executed pretty well. Overall not bad, not expecting this series to be amazing or anything but it could be a fun series. |

| When I read 'Onmyouji' I thought there would be more badass mantras and incantations like Shounen Onmyouji or Tokyo Ravens and Yin-Yang shit; Too bad I was wrong. Looks like an average fantasy anime so far, I got bored midway. I will watch 2 more episodes and see if it's any good. That ohagi thing looks really good though, I want to eat it. |

| I guess by Pierrot standards, this was decent. I'm not really sold on this yet, but it's only been 1 episode so there's still plenty of time for me to change my mind about this show. Not gonna lie though, the animation is pretty nice. I̶f̶ ̶o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶P̶i̶e̶r̶r̶o̶t̶ ̶c̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶p̶u̶t̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶h̶a̶l̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶e̶f̶f̶o̶r̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶o̶ ̶N̶a̶r̶u̶t̶o̶.......... And this is really gonna be 4 cours? That's pretty rare, I didn't think I'd see another 4 cour+ anime so soon after World Trigger. I figured this would be 2 at most. To the manga readers, is there enough source material for 4 cours without having to resort to original or filler content? |

| I quite like the style, especially the introductions. There's not much originality, the monsters designs are very generic. But I think it could definitely be worth a chance. |
| It was a pretty good start. The whole exorcism, and going into another world to fight the kegare aspect I really like, and that guy at the end seems like he has interesting motives. Looking forward to see how this develops story wise. Also like the animation and the way the characters were introduced. |

| That was a good first episode. It steered away from the first chapter of the manga though. But that was as far as I had gotten. The manga was ok, but I just found it to be a little more generic than I like. The show is off to a good start I think. But the production value looks a little lower than what the PV's made it look like. But I guess if it's going to be a 4 cour, it can't be helped. I would say this was one of the much better episode one's I've seen so far this season. I'm ready to see more of cute little Benio! |

| Episode was as generic as it can get, BUT I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and keep watching with a open mind most first episodes are generic anyway, just introducing characters and their past. Guy has troubled past, swears not to use power. Meets girl with above average strength, they fight a monster to protect something. Unexpected strong monster shows up, MC ends up using his power to save her. Pretty normal stuff, the enchantments are pretty cool and I'm interested in the MC's power. The art is also nice, the fights were flashy and looked overall pretty impressive. |
