| In less than 10 minutes i saw it.. its probably the cutest girl we will see this year (or maybe forever) Haruta is probably bisexual but it doesnt mean the story will spend that much time on the developmen of a romance with a teacher that probably wont give a shit about his love feelings... Oh and also.. check the generes, this is NOT a music anime so you shouldnt compare it with Hibike or Shigatsu. (though Chika doesnt even know how to use her flute yet)  |

| First, i personally like the character design for chika but i dont think the design for the teacher is good (I personally think the design and voice of this teacher are kinda similar to BL character, and im not into BL nor have watched any). Second, since the name of the anime is haruchika i thought this willbe a smooth shipping between haruta and chika so it was like a punch in the face to me to know that haruta likes sensei too. It's not what i expected to be but i still plan to watch this series until it finished because chika is cute. |

| How early is not really engaging, character Chika is nice, sui generis dynamics of the narrative, a bit too fast pace, but it served to introduce the characters and not to focus on the case, the main character Haru, is a little obnoxious, but at least not the usual stereotypical bumbling. The drawings and animations are not so exceptional, the designer is good, but not exceptional in any situation, not hurt the opening. SchwingBoner said: Those eyes. | I'm dropping this. Not because I don't like the idea of Haruta being gay or bi. I would LOVE to see a romance with this kind of set up...except the object of their love interest shouldn't be 10 damn years older than them.. Also the teacher is just about as interesting as a piece of wood. Why do they like him again? |
| Lovely episode, I feel this will be my favorite this season. I can really feel the hyouka meets hibike vibes, and since these two are favs of mine I have high hopes that haruchika will save this bland season. |

| Well this was an interesting twist at the end. Did not expect that and will keep watching. LGBT representation in anime is something rare and its hilarious to see all homophobic reactions from MAL viewers. The story overall is standard, but I like the character traits the main character displayed(changing between fake cute girl persona and the real "rude tomboy" personality). The teacher looks like Grade A Creep tho. I hope the mystery aspect is well developed. Not too interested in music/sol. |

| Characters are horrible. Haruta seems too shallow. Chika is irritating. The moment I hear "brass band club" , Hibike!Euphonium came to mind and and literally the next moment a sllightly more feminine Taki-sensei appears. On top of that theres the overused "this club needs more members" thing introduced not so badly. Then the stupid mystery-solving like in Hyouka and another "let's all sit together and play" thing at the end for no believable reason. That was a stupid addition. And the animation is not that good either, almost all the environment is in 3D that does not blend in with the animation. It's all a matter of how much you can copy without making it seem unoriginal. |

| I believe that most of this series negative reception has been for the wrong reasons… Not saying its 1st episode was great either. Anyhow, as far the series is concern, I thought this 1st episode was between average and below-average. Overall, production values are fair. And one again, the character designs are not of my liking (personal taste). Right now, my expectations for this show are somewhat poor, but since I like slice of life, music, and mystery genres I will keep watching it. Plus, I really want to see where this adaptation is headed within these 12 episodes…. Always hoping for the better though. |

| Decent first episode. I didn't find the "mystery" thing particularly interesting, but I'll still give this anime a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the male MC was bisexual/gay. That fact actually got me more interested in the anime lol, although tbh I'm not really fond of student-teacher relationships. It's kinda weird how Chika already has a crush on the teacher when she literally just met him though, but I'll look past that for now I guess. I don't really understand why a lot of people seem to not like the main MCs though? I think they're both pretty adorable. |

Hence why you see more women supporting LGBT rights, body positivity and stuff like that. |

Sexual arousal =/= sexual orientation btw, and there are many more factors to take into consideration when your subject is half the world's population; societal norms which define what is acceptable for men and women when expressing their sexuality and sexual attraction; the cultural fetishization of the female body etc. A lot of facts the authors of these articles seem more than happy to gloss over in order to be able to jump to their grossly overexaggerated conclusion about women's sexual orientation. | WTF? the character design kinda wierd, but animation pretty nice. need more time to used to it. character is unbelivable. kinda exagrated TBH. i found that twin even more interesting than the rest cast. the mystry is not really pick my interest either. the worst thing from this episode that is the atmosphere literaly flat! there is almost no intense. just watch it for comedy. 6/10. hyouka does it better. |
