| Good episode, but do not like some of the sound effects. It feels weak tbh. I was expecting louder and stronger punches like Fist of the North Star or JoJo. Lol Golden Time's Tada Banri Seiyuu is voicing Saitama. Still watching Golden Time as of now ^^ I know it's still beginning, but can't wait to see more of the crazy characters of this universe. Can't wait for the next episode!! |

| The animation in the dream fight sequence with the underground creatures really reminded me of the animation in Gurren Lagann. This episode provided an explanation of the basic plot, with a good number of action scenes and some light humor along the way. Overall, thought it was a solid start. As to whether or not it matched the hype, probably not fair to judge one episode in. |
| I was looking forward to the adaption so much until I see the fight scenes. When everything is normally animated really good but then you got some whacky fight scenes with a lot of speedlines. I could've lived without that....will probably ruin the adaption for me if it continues. |

| I've read the manga so it wasn't the most amazing shit ever. I love the ED animation + song. It's very unique...and unfitting for this series LOL. The animation in the last fight (the fake fight) was so good! I usually hate action but that was WORTH. I'll give this a 4.5/5 |

| That is absolute hilarity. I saw this getting hyped up before but I went in blind and loved every second of this. Every single second. The dream with the subterraneans absolutely killed me. I was like "Holy shit, HOLY SHIT this is what's up!" And then the alarm clock rang and I was nearly laughing to tears. |

| The only reason I picked this up is because of the GIF sets on Tumblr, and also Genos. When I saw Genos, I needed to watch this anime, especially since he's voiced by Ishikawa Kaito. For the most part, I'm not hooked. Intrigued, yes, but not hooked. Still, I'll continue watching. |
