Loved the new theme song and the episode didn't waste much time with some of the gameplay. It was so refreshing seeing Hinata and his team again on the field. I also thought it was really neat to some of the comedy again too! My favorite parts would be like with this guy:  It's cute seeing Shimizu-senpai again. |

| Memory of losing against NamiDai's character's team. It seems like new members including new manager are joining according to the OP. Practice time. A chance to go to Tokyo for a series of practice games (including KajiKaji's character's team). Nobu's pissed voice doesn't sound like him when not actually looking at the anime!! (when reading NamiDai's character's interview on the magazine) lol~ HiroC's character's face depressed over students' test scores that it became so scary! lol @ those main two as always. So competitive of each other. Wow, new character! I like the intermission music from first season, though... Main guy getting excited for the enemy's school (winning NamiDai's character's team at final last time) is lol. They are strong that they get university teams for practice game, though. The new character looks up to NamiDai's character more than king guy. The new character's comment (discriminating) angered main guy and became serious. The game and final exam at the same time?! Such a twist (pressure). And HiroC's so seriously scary when telling that. That is for next ep. Both OP & ED songs are nice. |

| Awesome episode, though it did seem to cover from chp 71 to 77. I wonder why they picked and chose scenes and rearranged them (for example the lets go to Tokyo is 72 but the recon with Ushiwaka is 77 (and had Yachi there, but not in this). I hope they go back adn cover those scenes skipped over, though it did make a good order. Personally was excited over everything, the opening volleyball game was epic, TsukkiKage banter there was phenomenally pleasing, and the Oikawa line in the magazine to Ushiwaka's obsession with Oikawa. I want a Ushiwaka v OIkawa rematch, as well as Shiratorizawa v Karasuno. s3 when. ED song is awesome and Yachi in it too. |

| Good episode. OP/ED is decent (seems quite indistinguishable from the first season's) and it's nice to see the characters moving forward, although facing some upcoming trouble. |

| My heart was pounding a lot but finally its out. The episode was as good as I expected. the small scene with nekoma was hilarious, as was how the music stops later on when takeda talks about the training camp and exams i wish they didnt change how kageyama and hinata met ushijima though |

| The hype at the end, bruh, Hinata with THE FACE! D: Great to see Haikyuu back, episode didn't disappoint, it got me right back in with volleyball action and seeing all major characters again. Abrupt cutoff with the music when the tests were mentioned...perfect xD |

| Saying that I am happy to see this back doesn't seem to do it justice! Off to a great start already. The thing with their test scores, and how Take-sensai got overwhelmed by reality, with the follow up gloom showed by the few prospective members. Hinata and Kageyama managing to get Ushiwaka that fired up. Looking forward to those practise matches! |

| It's back! Oh yea. This season is looking better and better even when I knew that for 100% I will be watching and enjoying a lot out of this one. It's also appears perfectly when Baby steps finished to fill in the gap in sports anime :). |
| It's nice to be able to see all these familiar faces again. This anime is still as hilarious as ever, especially when Takeda paused for like 5 seconds before falling into a state of existential despair, and when Nishinoya, Tanaka, Hinata, and Kageyama got singled out by him. I really liked it when Hinata got serious and put on that killer face when he caught the ball in front of Ushijima. This anime got off to a great start and I'm looking forward to the next episode (and the rest of the season for that matter). Also, the OP and ED weren't half bad. |

| AOTS is finally here and lives up to the expectations. It was a great first episode indeed and everything was beautifuly well done but it still made me sad the way they changed the order of events. I thought Yachi would make her debut right from the start but I guess not.. I'm so freaking out because of the ED,Galileo Galilei fits really good. |

| Animation is epic as usual. Sasuga Production I.G. And HQs music is just too good. Just gotta love Tobio and Hinata's interactions XD Hinata's friggin cat eyes stare always give me chills!! And the jump and declaration followed by Ushikawa smiling in excitement was EPIC! That's how u do a first impression. Hinata and Kageyama nailed it ^^ The way the music cut after they heard final exams was so lol And From the OP it's clear that the whole 1sr cour will be about the training camp so the pacing should be awesome. |

| YAY so happy this got a 2nd season. The OP song is great as well as the ED song. Gotta say this was an awesome episode. Love everyones determination especially Hinata and Kageyama. Love how Hinata catches the ball right in front of Wakatoshi. So awesome. Cannot wait to see more volleyball and the new characters. Lol gotta pass the final exams before they can go training in Tokyo. |

| I have waited for this for a long time! I'm cuddled up under my blanket and constantly hitting refresh to download the episode. The start of this new season is awesome! The animation has improved much more this time too, and I love the vibrant colors! :D Kageyama and Hinata are back, and so are their stupid actions! There were some changes from the manga, but it was still awesome! Can't stop laughing about them two. I love these panels in the manga but this is awesome! Can't wait for their match!  |

| I almost cried while watching this episode.....It feels so good to have these guys be back apart of my anime watching life again In all honesty there isn't anything to say other than the fact that this entire episode was 10/10, absolutely amazing I can't wait for the practice matches as well as the inevitable rematch with my fucking boy Oikawa and that Japan dude |
| Oh yeah, Spyair opening once again, and Galileo Galilei for ED! The OP and ED sequences themselves were really good too. It was a nice first episode, I enjoyed the return of Haikyuu and its comedy and fun characters. Hinata's face though was quite scary. I love how he introduced himself as Hinata Shouyou, a concrete from Karasuno. Also the imagery was really pretty. |

| Nice buildup here for the new season. I wonder if this episode is friendly to new watchers, as it doesn't really recap much of the first season. It's nice to have Ushijima make a proper appearance, after being referenced but not really shown many times. |
