| I think Isa and the bird grabbed Luffy so the lightning didn't affect them. And I really thought Usopp and Sanji were gonna sit out the rest of this arc but glad to have them back! And that Usopp rope device actually had a purpose in the end! Damn Oda you are one good writer... |

| Sanji is such a funny character sometimes. Especially when he is with Ussop they make an incredible pair... Hasn't Nami's weapon something to do with storm? I wonder if that will be of any help in her defense.. (I like that when things get tough, sometimes Luffy passes his hat to Nami. It's such a sweet and emotional move if you think about it...) |

| Eneru really just dunked Luffy into the ground to avoid fighting him. I loved when Luffy called him stupid for thinking that Luffy was the only one who could beat him, something I've seen other people in past threads already mention. I bet Luffy turned to a balloon or something to shield Pierre and Aisa. Sanji and Usopp are awake! Their presence coming back into the anime got me thinking about how naturally they were written out of this arc, especially in comparison to how transparently Luffy was. We got an unexpected and tense cut to Usopp and Sanji challenging Eneru who teleported on their boat to speak with Gan Fall, and he took them both out like it was nothing. It was brutal and set the tone for this arc as well as illuminated how scary and strong Eneru truly was. And now they're satisfyingly back into the arc to try and figure out what's going on so late into the picture, that's cool. Meanwhile Luffy got eaten by a snake and stayed in it for 15 episodes without getting much screen time to obviously let us know that he was going to stay in there until the final battle, so he could Goku it up of course. I wish it was always as organic as it was for those two to be written out. mellorine.. mellorine... mellorine Like I said when Nami first went with Eneru, when she is pushed against the wall she will fight rather than go along with him. She's proven my prediction right with an admirable display. I have to imagine Eneru can sense Usopp and Sanji with his mantra, and that he will be able to tell what Nami will want to do. That said, she's seen the mantra's weakness of attacking without intention and she is quite smart, she may do something with her weather staff that isn't a direct attack, but a strong one against Eneru. She may not need the other two to save her after all. |
| Sanji's Mellorine Detector may very well be the one thing that'll save Nami's life at this rate! I can definitely understand why she decided to revolt against Eneru because reverting to back into the helpless person forced to serve a very powerful enemy she once was would be a fate worse than death for her but she won't last very long unless someone helps her out. I'm hoping that Eneru doesn't one-shot the love machine again. Luffy better be safe somehow... It's also nice to see that the Skypieans treat the Shandians as what they truly are, as fellow humans. |

| I was thinking if Luffy is made of rubber and can basically change shape, couldn't he just pull his arm out of the ball? I remember thinking this in a previous arc when he was stuck.. That said, for the sake of the story, I guess you can't question or speculate over anime logic too much. Hooray for Sanji and Ussop being back in the picture, those two are jokes together. And Conis finally made it back to Suu =) I'm glad Nami expanded on something I was already thinking about.. what's the point in Eneru getting everything in the world he wants whilst being completely alone? Also how utterly weird it would be to be stuck on a ship with just Eneru and no other crew.. no wonder Nami had to draw the line. Was really nice that she opened up, if only in thought, about how much she wants to be re-united with her friends. |

| there has been minor cracks here and there in Nami's personality prior but it's for a first where Nami has openly declared putting the crew above her , assimilating and upholding their principles when the chips are down.It was her getting saved till this point.Not anymore.Interesting change. |
| Man Enel so dirty. What he did to Luffy was cheap. Once Luffy gets out of it he going to kicks his butt. Good to see sanji and Usopp up. Feel like it’s been over 20 episodes. Hopefully they can help Nami who had one her better speeches at the end |
| God that was so cheap of Eneru to put Luffy in that gold ball thing and toss him overboard like that, and he had him right where he wanted him too. But on the plus side: Ussop and Sanji are back! Yes the two of them have finally awakened from the Going Merry and are now going to save Nami from Eneru. Felt like eternity without them but again great they are back in action. Speaking of Nami, I think once she heard what Eneru wanted, I honestly don’t blame her for putting her foot down because yeah the guy is a lunatic and it would honestly be very lonely as she put it to have all that treasure but nobody to share it with. When it comes down to it, Nami really does care for her friends personally. And I’m glad that the Skypieans even when they are in danger actually treat the Shandians with respect in those dire circumstances. |
