Nyaa-tan reincarnated, even though she's not an Eto-Shin, so Uri-tan might just return next episode. This show is not Madoka guys, it's more like a parody, so they're probably trolling the "killing girl to create cheap shock effects" stuff. |

I really liked hearing "Des des" Goddammit! I'll stay in denial for now. Her death was too comical to really be a death. I can't even laugh though D: Nha-tan not reading the mood was lol. "Muscle" XD The fight was amazing :O Holy shit the CG is good. Nya-tan's Kamehameha looked epic! And Chu-tan's merciless fighting style was insane! The way she kept grabbing Nya-tan and punching her like a sling back and forth was no mercy! Really loving this series so far. It and Show By Rock are my surprises of the season. Didn't expect I'll like them this much :3 |

URI-TAAAAAAAAN!!! T_T Didn't expect death in this kind of anime.. though I suspect she'd be reincarnated like Nya-tan. The CG in this episode is amazing. Actually the first two episodes were amazing too but this one takes the cake. I might even go as far as claiming that might be one of the best CG piece I've ever seen in anime. It's baffling when people criticize this anime for it's CG. The fight was well-choreographed and rather brutal too. |

WTF, didn't see that coming. The 3D action is gorgeous. Much better than Pleiades IMO. Fits in better with the main scenes. The story is half-baked but watchable. I have an issue with the male lead though. Very weak and unoriginal character who could have been lifted from any random Light Novel. He has zero appeal...the girls carry the show. |

RasberryKisses said: FunkyEx said: RasberryKisses said: and dropped. Apparently everything now needs to be sh*tty madoka. Dropping a show just because of Uri-tan death in ep 3 imo is not a valid reason to do so. Etotama is nothing like Madoka nor tries to be like it. It's much lighthearted and doesn't have the drama that Madoka has. They have almost nothing in common. I think, but you do as you please, that this Anime is rather unique and is being well animated as well as the story is fun there for you should keep watching. Uri-tan was my favorite character so far , I hope she reincarnates like Nya-tan did dess dess~ Everything is a valid reason for dropping a show. You know that's how opinions work. Death of a character = instant drop from me, no matter how "unique" anime is. and the fact that you said "do as you please" but still suggest them to keep watching is a little roundabout. Really sad that Uri-tan died though :( she was my main reason for watching this show ;-; debating whether or not to drop this now... |

The CG action scenes were sooo beautiful! Uri-tan Pretty form is too cute! Wow, that escalated quickly! Uri-tan got killed off already! Didn't expect that at all! Also, how can Nya-tan get Uri-tan's Soll/Lull seal now? RIP Uri-tan dess dess T.T Pretty sure she didn't die though, maybe just disappeared or something. She'll be back... Right? |

This Anime Is Not A Parody so I Think There Are Three Possible Predictable Ending In The Ending, 1.Nyaa-Tan Joins The Twelth Zodiac deity Becomes Thirteenth Zodiac deity and Leave Takeru After Defeating Chuu-tan, 2. Nyaa-tan Does not Thirteenth Zodiac deity and Leave Takeru After Defeating Chuu-tan, 3.Nyaa-tan BeFriending Chuu-tan, Become Thirteenth Zodiac deity and Stays With Takeru With Other Eleven Zodiac deities. |

Eh if Uri-tan gets shuffled off then there is very little holding this show together. Makes little sense to start killing off the strongest characters first. Shame, it had potential with intermittent comedy and slice of life, but the plot is way too weak to try a darker angle or be fully plot-driven. |

Swiggy said: Is the Tiger chick not a part of the cat clan or...? It is the 12 Chinese Zodiac; the story that Cat should be on the zodiac too but tricked by mouse that he left behind in the race. The (long) complete story by Ed Young: In China, a long, long time ago, there live a cat and a rat. They were best friends. They ate together. They played together. They slept together. One day, the Emperor decided to hold a race among all the animals in the land. The first twelve animals to cross the finish line would have a year in the Chinese calendar named after them. This would be quite an honor. "But winning the race will not be easy," warned the Emperor. "You must run through the thickest part of the forest and then swim across the river at its widest point." Cat and Rat each wanted to be the first to cross the finish line. But they knew that they would two of the smallest animals in the race. "We will never make it," Rat complained to Cat. "Oh, I think we will," replied the resourceful cat. "We'll ask the water buffalo to help us," said the cat. "he could give a head start. He always wakes up before sunrise. Maybe we could even ride on his back." So Cat and Rat convinced Buffalo to wake them up early on the day of the race. The next morning, Buffalo was up long before dawn. "Wake up, lazybones," he said to the sleeping cat and rat. "We had better get started." Cat and Rat climbed on the buffalo's back. But they were so sleepy that by the time they had fully awakened, they were halfway across the river. Rat woke up first. He saw the Emperor standing at the finish line far, far away. why should I share the glory of first place with Cat and Buffalo? thought the rat selfishly. "wake up, my friend," he cried to Cat. "Look at all the tasty fish swimming in the water." Cat licked her lips. She leaned over for a closer look, and Rat gave her a little push. SPLASH! She tumbled into the water. Buffalo turned his head to see what had made the splash. He didn't see the cat, though. What he saw instead were the other animals in the race--and they were close behind him. without giving Cat or Rat another thought, he sped toward the Emperor. Just as Buffalo neared the riverbank, the clever rat leaped from behind his ear and crossed the finish line in first place. "How did such a small animal win the race?" asked the emperor in surprise. "I may be small but I am also smart," replied the rat. He scampered up onto the winner's podium. Buffalo knew he had been tricked into second place, but he could only grunt in dismay. Back in the river, Cat tried to swim along with the other animals. She hated water. But if she had to swim in it to win the race, she would do so. Far ahead of her, Tiger came roaring across the finish line. "Am I first? he growled. "No," said the rat smugly. "You'd have to be awfully clever to beat me." "And you'd have to get up extra early to beat me," added the buffalo. Cat scrambled onto a log. She paused to shake herself off and catch her breath. By then the sky was dark and s great storm was blowing. A dragon appeared in the clouds above. He was much, much too big to run through woods or swim across a river, so the Emperor had told him he could race through the sky, braving the rains and the wind. But no sooner had he begun his descent to the earth, that the rabbit darted across the finish line in front of him, taking fourth place. The dragon had to be content with fifth. In the river, the cat heaved a great sigh, then plunged into the water again. "I can still make it," she told herself. But Snake slithered across the finish line next and hissed a silvery greeting to the five animals who had arrived before him. Snake was number six. Cat swam as fast as she could. A few moments later, she heard the sound of galloping hooves in the distance. Horse thundered across the finish line in seventh place. Goat and Monkey weren't far behind. They jumped onto the log on which Cat had rested and paddled across the finish line almost at the same time. But Goat beat Monkey by a hair. While the winners waited patiently with the Emperor, Cat watched Rooster struggle toward the finish line. Dog could easily have swum ahead of Rooster, but she couldn't resist playing in the water for just a few minutes longer. "Number ten!" called the Emperor as Rooster staggered in. "Number eleven!" he cried when Dog arrived. "Who will be number twelve?" asked the Emperor. "I need just one more animal." "Me! I will!" called Cat, and she swam even faster. Unfortunately for Cat, Pig rushed across the finish line in front of her. "Number twelve!" cried the Emperor, but Cat was still too far away. "Congratulations to all the winners!" said the Emperor. "One of the twelve years will be named after each of you." Suddenly, up rushed Cat. She was tired and wet and more than a little unhappy about swimming across the river on her own. "How did I do?" she asked anxiously. "Am I one of the winners?" "Sorry, dear Cat," replied the Emperor. "All twelve places have been filled." Upon hearing the news, Cat let out a yowl and tried to pounce on Rat. Her claws scratched the tip of his tail, but Rat squeezed under the Emperor's chair just in time. And that is why, to this very day, CAt and Rat are enemies. |

And that is why, to this very day, CAt and Rat are enemies. No worries, I got the rundown from Fruits Basket long ago. I'm sorry though, I probably wasn't clear, but I'm pretty much asking just who makes up the cat clan (or any clan), as 'clan' usually refers to a group of individuals as opposed to just one individual. [I totally might have missed something.] Tiger is its own clan, of course, but I'm curious if Chuu-tan's grudge would include the Tiger chick even a little since tigers are indeed cats (but not in the Chinese Zodiac sense). So I guess I'm wondering how far this character is going to go because it would be interesting if they interpreted it that way. |

Thanks. That was really helpful in understanding the character relationships! Although I feel like the cat would be more mad at the rat o.o So when Uri-tan got stabbed in the hat I laughed because it was super derpy and, you know, this show is all random slapstick comedy. But then when she actually died and went away I was like: "omg whaaaaaat????" A death in this kind of show was so unpredictable. Although it seems that the characters are like: "noooo Uri-tan!!!Dx" but the in the next episode they are all fine....not sure how I feel about that. I'm really liking the transformations between adult and pretty mode, like running through all those rainbow gates! The action is pretty cool. The rat eto-shin has a whip sword, so that immediately makes her a bad**s. Haha Nya-tan rolling into her part time job |

Even this third episode is bad, even before starting this series, I really thought it was much worse as it is then presented. Narration pretty fun and not so predictable. The drawings are perhaps not the best in quality, but retain a fairly good level. Characters all nice, I'm sorry that Uri-tan we've already left, was so nice and also well liked. RIP Uri-tan ! T_T |

I never expect a death in this kind of anime either. But still it does not interest me enough to watch any further. I'll be dropping this series for now. |

OMG! Uri-tan really get's perished!?!? NO! she's too adorable and almost part of like family to the MC Takeru...maybe intervening a battle by an Eto-shin is really a bit deal for them and also a void/taboo. Anywayz...CG were awesome! Very Sharp and clear and colorful and high 60 fps. |

All well and good, funny, cute and them BAM! SWORD TO THE DOME. Pretty sure she'll be back, they handled her death with far to much comedy for it to be permanent. |
