| This show is ridiculous. I love it. It's one of those shows I think anyone will enjoy, but they need to not take it seriously at all. It's a fun watch. |

| I loved that fanservice of Erina. A seriously exotic way of being caressed by angels. She just couldn't admit that even commoners make the best food out of simple ingredients. That old guy at the end should just save Souma from being not accepted. zat-bust said: Lol she told her mom straight up that her breast milk tasted awful. | Great episode again. The art, animation and OST like the first episode was fantastic once more. =D Hopefully, Souma can teach Erina that you should never judge a book by it's cover. Talented cooks can come from any background and dismissing some as commoners will always come back to screw you up in the future. Still, Erina was acting really cute when she struggled to accept the brilliance of Souma's dish. =3 Her grandfather, though, looks ripped alright. I wouldn't mess with him at all. O_O |
| I enjoyed this episode more than the last one. Glad we saw Souma's hot dad a bit more at the beginning. He seems to have traveled quite a lot in this short time. The ending was surprising. I didn't expect Erina to make Souma fail, that felt really bitchy from her part. But it looks like he will still be able to enter the academy next episode thanks to Erina's grandfather. |

| Now this is when the series starts getting great. I have absolutely no complaints. It's a very faithful adaption, and I'm glad they finished including the bits of chapter 1 in this episode, because they're funny, and also set up the romance aspect. Also, love how her grandpa has already started his stripping running gag! The ED for this series is great, the OP is okay. But both the song and the accompaning animation for the ED is fantastic. I love art reinterpretations with anime characters, not unlike what they did with Death Note! Next week the Tadokoro arrives! |
| Same hype as the last EP.. Everything is good and of course, the foodgasms are great as always.. I swear some people just pay too much attention to the ecchi and less on the story.. Well whatever.. | Oh I like Erina, she's haughty yet cute. Souma's confident is really something tho. A bit too confident for my taste. So that's what they meant when they called Erina the villian of the show. I thought she would pass him after saying that the food was disgusting, but I guess room for more drama. Poseidon liked the food so he passed I guess. |

At the very least none of them would even reach mid-tier in the school. |

| I always forget that Soma is the one person that Erina has serious issues dealing with. She couldn't accept his lowly upbringing and his meager daily shop. Well... that perception will change soon enough. Have to agree that this show is seriously faithful to the original material. I just love how they managed to animate Erina's "frustrated" moments. I still prefer Nikumi and Alice over both of them. Megumi's development doesn't occur until way late into the series (like "Near most latest chapters" late), but Nikumi and Alice were already hella good from the get-go. Still, the Aldini brothers are going to be fun to watch. Hope we'll get to see Isami's transformation before the season ends. |

| As expected, the academy's a bunch of rich spoiled kids ... too bad Erina scared them all away! Making rice with seasoning - something simple but delicious like I thought. More foodgasms and TINY SOUMA ANGELS FLYING TOWARDS HER LOL XD Too bad she ended up failing him anyway ... his reaction was hilarious :P IT'S OKAY SOUMA YOU CAN COME COOK FOR ME INSTEAD OKAY??? XD His dad's off cooking at a bunch of different places ... I'm a little jealous :( Seems like he's pretty well known too. Ah well, it seems like grandfather's here to save the day! :P This show has so many funny moments - like at the end, Erina's random metaphors (which don't make any sense), Souma's facial expressions ... ah well, seems like Souma will get accepted anyway of course, and then classes begin? :O Darn, can't wait for the next episode D: |

That was another crazy epic episode! lol at Souma, being kicked by high-class citizen and treated like a low-class commoner but Souma isn't bothered by it, in fact the one that was being bullied is the one that kicked him in the first place. OMG Goddess Erina ojou-sama as the examiner! Erina's first words are "Not enough depth of flavor." is a win win hilariousness! I bet Hisako is one of Erina's dog/step-slave/underling. Souma touched Erina ojou-sama!!! A magnificent knife is more of an attention grabber for Souma rather than hearing who Erina really is. That picture of Souma on his student application from really cracks me up! After preparing his dish ... Souma like a boss! Not even intimidated to Erina. The evil laugh of Souma (@20:11) is really priceless! The angels are full of souma-chibi-angels! Erina is in total denial that she couldn't accept it and also in total annoyance decided that it was disgusting! But her grandfather was secretly monitoring the test and gave a taste so there would be no problem for Souma. |
