| Oh man, that was a tad confusing. I even took the disc out, checked the disc number, put the first disc back in and re-watched the end of episode 4 :P. Thoughts... "Hmmm so they're alive again".... Pauses.... Googles... "Ah, so there are different arcs portraying different turns of events"... Intrigued! Lol. Wow, so this series is living up to my expectations of a superb psychological horror. Only five eps in and it's already gotten pretty twisted and gory :). From reading other peoples posts it looks like we may not get any full answers until the secound season? Oh well, am definitely enjoying the ride so far. Finding I have to concentrate rather hard to pick up all the clues in the conversations :P. Haha well it's anything but boring! Loving it! :D |

| I'm sure we were all thinking about the possibility that a needle was in that lunch (even if the mood wasn't creepy). Mion, Shion, something's up. This was like episode 1, it seemed like an intro into a new story, so it was rather boring like episode one was to me. |

| Dat beginning scene. So, new arc, new chapter, new scenario. Oh cool, Mion has a twin sister named Shion Sonozaki. But the weirdest thing I found in this episode was the townspeople gathering. |

| Damn, I remember when I first started watching Higurashi a couple of years back...and I quit after a couple of episodes, like "lol nope". After finishing it a couple of weeks ago (+ Kai, Rei, Kira), though, I can say it has a great story ^^...but, really, the second season ( Kai ) is, in my opinion, much better since it gives all the answers and is a bit more dynamic. The first season doesn't really explain much, even at the end, and just leaves more mystery. |

| First scene of this episode... my jaw dropped to the floor. So each chapter resets time then? I wonder who will go nuts this time... another nice boat awaits! So Shion works at the restaurant where Keiichi was talking to the detective in the previous arc. That explains how they knew... BTW, is Mion carrying a freaking gun around in the holster under her arm?! |

| Okay, I don't really understand the concept, but I think that it's like many itteration. Anyway, that was surprising. I wasn't sure until the if she really did have a twin sister, like a 50/50. Also, that scene at the beginning was really disturbing. It's like a reminder to tell you that behind those cute face, there are some evil monsters. |

| i love how each arc starts out with such intensity. when i see everyone having those fun/slice of life moments, i just think back to the beginning of each arc with the gore... and wonder how does everyone and everything end up like that? |

| really has a weird taste to it, previous episodes all gory and scary, and now it's all happy-go-lucky again^^ am I the only one who noticed Mion carrying a gun around in the first half, and NOBODY CARES? was this explained before and I missed it? |
| Oh don't tell me that this arc restarted from before the Festival? But why? Are they gonna explain something new before the actually going on of the plot? We all knew what this funny atmosphere will lead to though. I also had noticed that Mion carried a gun! |

| I'm not sure what 's going on .....o.O.... but nevertheless I was enjoying this kind of sequence of events... n_____n This whole mystery is now even more expanded by having more of these chapters seemingly telling the same events all over again in a new way... ^-^ Really interesting, and I have to say that I am really surprised in an extremely positive way =) ~~~~ |

| MINDFUCKING PLOTS! I'm just gonna forget trying to understand why they came back to life and accept it for what it is. Despite not understanding the plot, it's still pretty fucking fun to watch WHO THE FUCK IS MION AND WHO THE FUCK IS SHION?! One thing I hate about this anime is how they spoil the entire blood bath though I guess it's interesting seeing how it all leads up to that point. One thing I know about this series already is that I can confirm that the first episode of each arc is always gonna be the shittiest. Okay episode. Slowly building up to the next blood bath. |
