| Living with my mom so I talk to her daily. I talk to my dad every couple of weeks. We don't even have a bad relationship, it's just that there's usually nothing to talk about. My brother is another case, I usually only exchange a few words with him per day or none at all. |

| I call my dad at least once a week and see him a couple times a month. My mom gets maybe a phone call a month. Every time I call her it's three hours about complaining and paranoia. I lived with her for 18 years and I can't take long periods of her mentally draining anger and hate. |

| Necromancer here! I'm curious if anyone who posted in this thread 10 years ago will come back to update us if their frequency has changed. I don't live with my parents anymore but I text them daily, talk to my dad weekly, and talk to my mom whenever she calls me (about once or twice a month) |

| Also daily because I also live with them, but the time and amount can vary depending on whether there are things to do, how much time there is, if there is any special occassion or holiday, etc. Nothing has changed in that regard in the last 10+ years for me |
