| The filler arc is indeed the longest of all arcs in the Naruto series by far. Not even watching them anymore.. cuz luckily I've read the manga so I know immedietly if it's a filler or not. |

| Shira & Rock Lee flashbacks would be kind of boring, but this episode still wasn't too boring to watch at all. I was surprised the Sand shinobi handed their scrolls. I'd like to see Rock Lee vs. Shira duel, though. Shira seems like interesting character and I hope this won't be his "last match". I guess I'm one of the few that are actually enjoying these fillers. Sure, fillers are instant frustation for most people, but at least this arc isn't some boring stuff. I'm sure everyone wanted to see another Chuunin Exams once or twice after watching the first one. |

| Some fillers are actually really good and kind of devolop certain events or characters that was missing from the manga story line. I have not seen this one yet, but i think honestly a filler showing what happened during that "missing time period" int he naruto universe woiuld be quite welcomed. If they are focusing not only on the Chunin exams but what all of the jounen were doing at the time regarding the akatksuki. For example the Shadow of the ambu, i almost can't even declare it a filler, despite the fact that it isn't in the manga. It clarified and concluded so many things regarding the past history of kakashi, Itachi, Yamato, and Danzo, that we did not know bout. I mean it was very briefly mentioned in the manga, but to see it in its full glory totally played out in the anime, i think is just awesome. In some ways i think the anime is actually better then the manga for those reasons. Not to mention in the war, there are certain moments that explained things far better then kishimoto did originally in the manga. If this arc is anything like shadow of the ambu in that sense, then i will probably like it. But i can see where people don't have the patience for this, especially considering where this filler arc takes place in the chronology of the series. I mean its Smack in the middle of an intense moment in the war. People and (my self included) if i was at that point, would be very hesitant to see whats coming next. Not be thrust into a whole different story, during such a riveting and intense scenario where sasuke and naruto almost die. They couldn't of picked a better place to put this filler arc lol. Though like i said, some filler adds more substance and more character background story that was never even shown in the manga. Also certain filler arcs try to make it as part of the whole story. For example there is a certain character that is always a fangirl of gaara and actually a student of gaara and they have shown this character time and time again through out the show, in shippuuden. But you would never know where she came from if you did not watch the last filler arc in the "original series". Certain characters like Fuu for example we have not seen hardly anything of and i think people can agree with me when i say that the Jinchuriki hosts, have hardly no part in the story what so ever. Cause they are killed off before the story even begins. So to see FUU in action, it can actually solodifies her character a bit more in the story. |

| Personally i keep forgetting this is filler, i have been enjoying the filling of the blank gap of when Naruto was away training. and this arc has been very enjoyable for me. |

| Shira was an outsider too... More then half the characters in Naruto were outsiders and this episode spent half of the episode reminding us. Well looks like lee is going to wreck everyone next episode opening the 8 gates. Cant wait. |

| I have been thinking and some of you probably have come to this conclusion. Naruto season has had 40% episodes being filler(proper fillers keep in mind), so maybe Naruto Shippuuden is going to do the same too since it's almost there and they like being retarded... So 40% filler will be the end I guess. |
