| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LOL. Oh Kagami you lucky bastard. It's not every day you get to see a hot girl waking up next to you. Decent episode. This sets up some of the upcoming battles including members of the powerful Rakuzan High led by Akashi. Oh and nice new shoes. But yeah, the upcoming matches are inevitable not to mention this ongoing one right now. I have no doubt that Rakuzan will be a major powerhouse for any team to take on this season as seen already. |

I would've liked if they kept the trails and if they made them fade away after. It's a bit hard to believe that after 3 Midorima three's and one Nebuya basket the 1st quarter is over... you can do that in manga, but in an anime it just feels weird. Well, I wish they would've added something to the first quarter. Some translations weren't as funny as I expected them to be. Still my favourite match though! Next two episodes are gonna be awesome! I wish they'd had Takao's seiyuu say "Haaaaai" in that lazy voice in this scene tho: |

| Kagami vs Aomine and Kagami got destroyed, prob because he wasn't wearing dem shoes. I first thought that it would be kise vs akashi but oh well. Akashi is obviously going to win because he's just a badass dude with super powers(i think) What's the eye doe? I guess we'll find out soon enough |

| Yeah I agree that the first quarter went by really quickly. Couldn't believe when it was over already. Loved it when Momoi not only brought Aomine along but also took his shoes to give to Kagami. Aomine's reactions make me laugh. |

| Yes! The Rakuzan/Shutoku match has started! Love seeing the Crownless Generals slowly getting worked in. Hayama is a lot happier(?) than I remember, but I did read this match a whiiiiile ago. Not that I have an issue with that anyway. Haha, Kagami slammed Alex's clothes on her. xD The shoes part was indeed amusing and just really fun in general before this tense match between Rakuzan/Shutoku. Also, badass start of the match by Takou and Midorima. |

| First half was really funny. Rakuzan vs Shutoku started off really exciting. I can't wait to see what happens. Akashi seems pretty interesting. I am curious about his eye ability. Also, I think the VA really suits his character. |
