DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm somehow reminded of "Alice in Wonderland" by the scenario depicted in this episode. Like Alice Patema accidently falls into a hole which serves as a connection to a different world in which everything is upside-down, in this case quite literally. |

The lead up is REALLY good. :) 2 worlds into one.. hmm... unlike Alice in Wonderland, there's no concrete door, like a start point or an end point. I love the way they merge the two worlds and make us wonder about gravity. Really inverts my mind. haha. :D |

It's an awesome film. :) After I watched episode 3, it reminded me of that english movie so much. Anyway, I can really feel that this anime movie has great potential and I hope this would live up to my expectations. Can't wait to see this. |

Or is he? preety sure it's a girl. ---- well when the boy's shocked face was shown, that was pretty realistic because that is most likely how i would have looked. i found the OST a bit childish and lame, and inappropriate when she dragged him into the air. he would have been screaming, for sure. there was no guarantee he would have gotten to land again. not sure how reverse gravity could happen and how'll explain it but we'll have to see. and for some reason i felt rather sad that the backpack fell down... i'm also not sure how i'll get used to the camera switching from regular to reverse gravity, but this is the first time it's really been shown. i'm a little worried about the pacing, though. in 15-18 minutes there's already a new character. darn the ending! just a few seconds more...please...D: the boy had better find and give the girl some kind of weights to help her down. also a question-theory that popped in my head:if she fell UP from her place, does that mean she won't be able to jump down to her world, since she will just float up in the end? |

| What? How? Why? So confusing yet interesting. |
| So there are two worlds, inverted from one another. The most interesting thing about that being that simply crossing the boundary between them doesn't change which one you're tied to. Patema is still being strongly pulled back to her own world, despite being in physical contact with someone from the adjacent world. This becomes more and more interesting. I can't imagine Patema's adventures in this other world will be very convenient though. I wonder how she'll escape this small little shack and continue onward? |
